What was weird when you were younger becomes beautiful when you become older. Where you were once an oddity for being foreign, you are now exotic. Your limbs have grown from awkward to slender, eyes still follow you. They have gone from hostile to acquisitive while remaining invasive.

It's not new for you to command people's attention. But context is key. This attention is not welcome. As highschool progresses you wear more and more layers to school, and answer less and less confidently. You are still a model, but outside of that, you cover up more and more, as if that could stop the feeling of eyes upon you.

Your beauty should be a blessing, but it feels like a curse.
