Chapter 18

That same day, Harri was coming back from her first class when she got intercepted by a pissed off Draco. Harri figured that he was angry about her comment about his grandfather, but with him, she could never be sure.

"Potter! Come with me to the common room" Draco asked tersely, itching to yell at her but restraining himself so that this doesn't become public knowledge to the other houses. Harri eyes widened at that and nodded. He wanted to make this into a house issue and not involve the other houses into the argument that he wanted to have with her. Crabbe and Goyle followed behind her and Harri glared at them both for daring to treat her like a prisoner. Harri instead walked next to Draco like she was the one leading the band of Slytherins. When they got to the entrance of the common room, Harri hissed at the door to open in Parseltongue. Harri showed the boys behind her that she was capable of more than just the standard spells, and to remember that she had control of the common room.

When they entered the common room with Harri in the lead, the other first years looked their way. Harri realized that Draco purposefully invited them there so that they could see the political fight to see who would reign over the first years. Pansy looked delighted to finally see Potter put in her place and finally take her place of leader besides Draco, but one look from Harri's stoic eyes had her frozen in her place and she felt an unexplained panic sweep into her body. Pansy felt that all hope had abandoned her and that the only thing that existed in this world was dread and fear, but when Harri looked away it was like nothing had even happened.

Some of the upper years were there as well and they noticed that the first years were about to have a confrontation. Draco noticed that he had the attention of the common room on him, and he finally decided to speak.

"Potter, you have a lot of nerve speaking about my family!" Harri raised a delicate eyebrow and stared at the rest of the upper years in amusement.

"And what did I say Draco?" Harri used his first name casually, to remind him that he didn't have a lordship yet and she already had her ladyship.

"You spoke about my grandfather and my father!" Draco face darkened.

"Did I?" Harri asked amusedly, remembering what she had said about all of the Malfoys.

"Don't play the idiot Potter! It doesn't suit you." Harri smiled at him condescendingly.

"Who told you I spoke ill of them?" Draco's eyes flashed to Pansy for a second and that was all Harri needed to know. Harri took out her wand from her holster and pointed it at Pansy in front of the entire common room but didn't fire.

"You have better make this good Draco, because I swear, if you don't give me an enough reason that I actually have insulted your family, Parkinson gets it." This gathered the attention of other upper years and they too turned to stare at the first years, hoping to see spell fire even if it was only first year level.

Pansy's eyes widened in fear, somehow knowing that Potter wasn't bluffing and that she would really curse her if Draco didn't defend her word. Draco stood shocked to see the other side of Potter, never realizing that something unhinged was bubbling beneath the surface begging to be let out.

"What did I say about your father and grandfather that has you so offended?" Harri asked again, and Draco snapped out of his thoughts and his bravado came back at full swing.

"you said that my grandfather would get into a relationship with a Half-blood! And that my father was lacking as well as I was!" Draco exclaimed, getting angrier that Potter wasn't taking him seriously. Harri laughed at what Draco said and he took that as a confession. Draco took out his wand and pointed it at her and Harri immediately hissed at him,

"Expelliarmus" Harri caught his wand and toyed the tip of his wand with her finger, meanwhile, the rest of the upper years laughed at what Draco said.

"Have you told daddy about what I said?" Harri asked serious all of a sudden. Harri was afraid to soil the relationship she had with the Malfoys all over Pansy messing with her words.

Draco looked shocked over the turn of the conversation and only nodded at her. Draco had sent a letter to his father before going to confront her. Harri sneered at Pansy and ordered all of the snakes in the room to tie her up once again. There was a commotion as everyone jumped when they noticed the metal snakes coming alive only to hold Pansy down on her knees.

"Draco, I said your grandfather was a prime example of what I want in a wizard. I am the Half-blood that he would never get into a relationship with!" Harri spoke softly.

"I said that he was a very desirable wizard and that his looks were different than your fathers and yours. Your father and you are beautiful, where your grandfather was handsome and very masculine. I was only complementing your family and its breeding. You can ask any of the upper years, they all heard what I said. I said that I desire men like your grandfather." Harri finished by spatting out at him. Draco then realizing the grave mistake he made by challenging Potter over something he thought he had over her, glared at Pansy who was still kneeling on the ground.

Pansy looked afraid that no one would help her know. Harri handed Draco his wand back and spoke coldly to Pansy,

"You should know by now who your betters are Parkinson. You can't blame me; I did warn you." Harri shot at an easy spell that no one would question her for knowing.

"Rictumsempra" Pansy burst out laughing and her body shook in quakes with the snakes still coiled around her. Harri put more power behind her spell and Pansy was laughing hysterically with tears and snot rolling down her face. The more Pansy moved, the more she bruised herself with the hard metal that pressed against her skin. Everyone watched in morbid fascination how such a low-level spell could cause such damage when applied correctly.

When Pansy started to turn blue, Harri ended the spell and released her body from the snakes and walked over to a passed-out Pansy to feel her vitals. Harri started to wave her wand over Pansy's body to heal her over again, not caring that her housemates would now know that she knew rudimentary healing spells, but Harri could always explain it away as having to heal herself with accidental magic when she was growing up with the Dursleys. When Harri was done healing Pansy, she left Pansy on the floor and walked to her next class with Millicent tagging along with her, next to the other first-year girls following them out. There was no doubt now who was in charge of the first years.

Harri penned Lucius about what had actually happened and told him delicately that she found his late father very handsome and attractive and that his father was the kind of wizard that would make the best match for her. In other words, Harri told him that she wanted to shag his father, and basically wrote his late father a love confession and explained that she meant no offense when Draco was misinformed about her slighting his family. Harri had showed the letter to Millicent to make sure it was okay, and Millicent had broken out laughing at the contents of the letter. After Millicent had calmed down enough to Harri's amusement, Millicent agreed that drastic measures needed to be taken and that the letter just needed all of her titles before it was sent away. Harri thanked her and sent the letter away with Hedwig after making some adjustments to the letter.

Harri was done waiting for Ron to show up with Pettigrew on him. So, she went with Plan B and went looking for the twins so that they could sneak her into the common room. It took her a while, but she finally found them by the lake with the rest of their year. Harri walked confidently towards them with a mischievous smile on her face and they immediately noticed her and matched her smile. Harri cocked her head to the side and smiled fondly at them.

"Gentleman." Harri spoke formally offering her hand to be kissed. They both kissed her hand and Harri nodded approvingly at them.

"I am a Lady, and I am in need of assistance" Harri spoke properly. They both nodded at her, waiting to see where this goes.

"If you don't mind?" Harri asked them, staring at their companions.

"Hey! Whatever you have to say to them you can say in front of us!" Lee Jordan exclaimed.

"Sorry boys, but this is strictly business. If Messrs. Weasley wishes to tell you, then they can, but this isn't for me to tell you." That caught the attention of the twins and they both nodded at each other before taking each of Harri's arm and put it around their shoulders and lifted her up. Harri dangled in the air, and just accepted the twins favorite form of transport for her. When they had reached a secluded alcove of the castle, the twins put her down and got to business.

"My Lady Potter" Fred started,

"What can we" George continued,

"Do for you?" Fred ended.

"I want you to sneak me into the Gryffindor common room." Harri stated.

Both twins started to laugh, but then noticing that Harri was serious sobered up and considered her.

"What for?"

"I want to have a sleep over with Hermione." Harri decided on.

Both twins stared at one another, and they beamed at Harri.

"All of this just for a sleep over?" Fred asked George.

"Freddie, I suspect that she isn't telling us everything." George lamented.

"Right, you are Georgie" Fred agreed.

"It's not a prank, this is very serious. Hermione doesn't have many friends in Gryffindor. I want to talk about boys and have pillow fights in our knickers and argue about politics… you know the normal sleepover stuff" Harri argued. Both boys got misty eyed over witches in their knickers and then snapped out of it when Harri cleared her throat at them.

"I'll return the favor and sneak you into the Slytherin common room just once, and you cannot prank me or mine." Harri negotiated.

"I don't know Freddie, don't you think" George began.

"it's too much of a risk?" Fred agreed.

"it's not a risk, you just have to sneak me in and out in one of your pockets" Harry argued. "I have a featherlight trunk apartment that can be shrunk, and you can fit me in your pocket" Harri continued, knowing that they were close to agreeing.

"I'll agree to participate in one prank and sneak you two into my common room." They both communicate silently before nodding and shaking Harri's hands.

"Deal" They both agreed.

"Great! We will do it tonight. We will meet in an unused classroom where I will get into my trunk, and you will carry me into your common room and place me in your dorm room." Harri smiled at them. They both nodded, analyzing the plan for any potential trouble, not finding anything too concerning they both nodded and agreed.

"But no funny business Lady Potter" George imitated Percy. Harri laughed and grinned at them,

"I wasn't planning on sneaking into the boy's dorm room until I'm in third year at least" Both boys gave her matching grins and teased her about sneaking into Percy's room in two years, and they walked her to the great hall where Harri anticipated the night to come.
