Episode 23: Time Disaster Part 1- 2016

Emma tapped her foot as she glanced at her girlfriend as she was finishing her makeup, "We're going be late."

Sophie turned around and gave her a look as she slipped on her yang necklace, "Didn't think you'd be that interested in a triple date."

"It's not a triple date," the girl tried to argue, "Zacharie is there too."

"Sure…"

Emma didn't know why she bothered. It hadn't taken long for Tsubasa and Rachel to start dating but Nina and Jake were in a weird 'will they, wont they' space.

"Fine, the triple date plus Zach," Emma smiled as Sophie stood up and walked over and gave her a peck on the lips, "Ready?"

"Sure," the blonde nodded, "Let me just double check if Kathy needs anything."

Sophie had actually grown very attached to her foster sister over the past 2 weeks. But that was mostly cause Kathy had been confined to bed with illness making Sophie, despite her own weakness the first couple days, to hover and play nurse with the younger girl.

"Hey, maybe when she's better her and Jason can come along too," Sophie smiled as she grabbed her purse off the bed and waved at Tikki to come along from where her and Plagg where she and Plagg were eating cheese cake.

Plagg followed Tikki and they hid in their respective hiding spots, "Why? So Zacharie can play 9th wheel?"

Emma and Sophie giggled at that without a care in the world, so of course that's when Bunnyx opened a portal and grabbed them by their arms and dragged them into the burrow.

"You two! I need you two! Come on transform! You're going to 2016!"

"Not again!" Emma whined.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng's clever mind was running on all cylinders as she tried to find a way out of the room.

She has no idea who this Akuma was. But Candy Crusher had busted in their classroom demanding a cellphone back while randomly turning items in the room to candy. For example the windows were now unopenable due to being turned into a thick taffy.

"I wonder what's taking Ladybug and Cat Noir so long." Aya wondered out loud as she filmed the rant from Candy Crusher, honestly it sounded like any other villain rant lately.

Marinette laughed nervously, she didn't noticed Adrien looking just as jumpy as her as they both looked for an opening to bolt from the room.

Candy Crusher finally got Marinette's attention as they threatened to eat one of the students if the substitute teacher didn't cough up the cellphone.

Marinette stood trying to come up with a way to distract the akuma.

Though she hadn't needed to as Bunnyx's familiar portal opened and a pair of legs popped out and kicked the villain.

The class room gasped as Cat Noir fell out of the portal and then helped Ladybug out of the portal.

But it took a full second before the classroom erupted in confusion at the sight of a black haired girl with the cat miraculous and a blonde haired girl with the ladybug miraculous.

"Who are they?!"

"Where is Ladybug and Cat Noir?!"

"What the fuck?!"

"Whats happening?!"

…..

While the class room erupted in confusion across Paris, Hawk Moth in his evil lair looked threw his eyes at the new heroes in rage in confusion, "What is this trickery?!"

….

"I can't believe we're going to be late for our triple date," the blonde Ladybug mused as she looked at where her and her Cat Noir had kicked the villain.

"Bug, focus," Cat Noir told her as she glanced around the room and narrowed her eyes on very familiar looking people.

Cat Noir nudged Ladybug and motioned to the classroom kids. Ladybug blinked as she noticed a lot of familiar people, "Well Shit."

Candy Crusher finally got up and glared at the heroes, "Who are you?!"

The blonde Ladybug curtsied, "Ladybug and Cat Noir future edition."

"Ladybug and Cat Noir from the future?!" Alya cried excited at the statement.

The whole class started excitable chattering about that as Marinette and Adrien stared in shock at the apparent time travelers as the portable behind them closed.

Candy Crusher grumbled and raised their hand latching a lazer at them.

Immediately Cat Noir pulled Ladybug behind her then kicked up a desk to block the blast turning the desk into….gingerbread?

The black suited heroine kicked the gingerbread desk back at the villain knocking them back and perfectly in sync like a dance Ladybug yo-yoed another desk across the room and uses it to knock the akuma out the nearest window and into the street.

"KitKat!"

"Gotcha!"

The pair dived out the window in what can only be described as a superhero dive and chased after the akuma. Everyone in the classroom, including the teacher, ran to the window to watch the battle chattering about the future pair of heroes,

All except two students, sneaking out opposite doors.

…..

"Cat!"

Cat Noir rolled out of the way at the last second thanks to her girlfriends call. She was pretty sure Ladybug could till she was being sluggish and not on her A-game. Which in her defense was she was understable considering they were now in 2016 and she had just seen her not dead and teenage parents!

She heard a screech and a cry of "CAT NOIR!"

She looked up at the last second to see an amok, a giant bird amok, that slammed her into the ground. Cat Noir heard Ladybug scream again as her vision went black.

….

Ladybug, the one of 2016, and her blonde haired Cat Noir rushed onto the scene hoping to help the apparently future Ladybug and Cat Noir. But as they got to the scene to fight Candy Crusher they stopped in complete shock.

The blonde Ladybug was hanging off a giant bird amok as it was carrying her unconscious Cat Noir away.

"Give me back my cat!" the blonde Ladybug cried not letting go.

Honestly, Ladybug wanted to go help them. But Candy Crusher set their eyes on the duo.

"Let's hurry so we can go save the other Ladybug and Cat Noir," Ladybug told her Cat Noir.

"No Kitten around, got it."

"Cat, no."

"It was a purrfect pun, my lady."

Ladybug let out a deep groan but focused on the akuma.

Okay, so reminder. My story was started prior to the start of season 4 so it's non-canon compliant to everything post season 3.

Honestly, I'm so tired of life. I've had covid among other things and just done with the year.
