Chapter 4: It's Just Being Nude in Your Bed

After classes had concluded for the day, Komi wasted no time grabbing her shoes and returning home.

She slipped off her shoes and wasted no time going up to her room. She was in such a hurry, she didn't notice the pile of discarded clothes on the floor leading to the kitchen.

Closing her bedroom door, Komi took a deep breath as she was finally in the solace of her room. She had been trying hard not to have a panic attack all day, and the effort it took to stay calm wore her out.

But all it took was a few seconds before Komi began shaking nervously.

[She was worried that her classmates took Najimi seriously.]

Throughout the day, Komi saw some of her classmates muttering and whispering. Occasionally, they would glance over at Komi, which made her worried that they were talking about her.

Komi desperately flapped her shirt as the heat and humidity in her room were getting worse and worse by the second. She could feel her heart beating fast and her breathing became labored.

She quickly unbuttoned her shirt. She winced as she saw that the collar of her shirt was beginning to turn brown from absorbing her sweat all day.

Tossing it to the ground, Komi then removed the rest of her uniform. Her stockings and undershirt were especially stubborn, sticking to her skin like a sweaty sticky note.

With a flick of her wrist, her bra and panties soon joined the mountain of damp clothing on the floor.

She was now fully clad in her birthday suit.

Komi turned the fan on and stretched her body out on the floor. Moving her kotatsu aside, she lay down in front of the fan, letting the cool air blow across her sweat-covered body.

She took a deep breath.

[She began to calm down significantly.]

The cold air especially felt good blowing underneath Komi's breasts and her armpits, the two sweatiest parts of her body.

Komi closed her eyes as she suddenly found herself opening her legs wide open. She gasped as she felt the fan blowing on her groin.

And yet, she found herself enjoying this sensation.

[Komi just discovered a guilty pleasure for women.]

A few minutes passed before Komi stood back up, then plopped herself onto her bed, lying face-down in her pillow. The fan now blew cold air on her buttocks.

She then let out a sigh. There was no point in worrying about what happened at school today.

With the heatwave continuing all week, she figured the class would be too mentally exhausted to care about what Najimi said.

Although, she was still worried about Tadano Hitohito.

With Tadano looking miserable all day, Komi desperately wanted to help him. She had wanted to tell him about how sleeping nude helped her sleep better at night, but she couldn't bring herself to tell him, even before Najimi made it even more awkward.

And with how freaked out Tadano was when Najimi told him they slept naked, it's unlikely she'll tell him now.

Komi let out a yawn. She then wrapped her arms around her large cat pillow. Having not gotten a full night of sleep, she could feel her eyelids getting heavier.

Eventually, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

BEEP-BEEP! BEEP-BEEP! BEEP-BEEP!

Komi lifted her head up, her eyes still half-shut. She reached over to her alarm clock to shut it off. She let out a yawn and rubbed her eyes.

[Komi's confused as to why her morning alarm went off.]

Just then, she heard her mother calling out to her.

" Shouko! Are you up yet? You're gonna be late for school!"

Komi looked over to her bedroom door, confused.

School? What's she talking about? She just came home from school!

Komi checked the time on her clock.

It read 7:30 a.m.

…

…

… 7:30?! A.M.?!

Komi gasped as she read the time again.

[She's horrified that she slept all afternoon and all night.]

She then went to check the time on her phone. Sure enough, her phone showed the same time as her alarm clock.

Komi quickly rolled out of bed and hurriedly went to put on her school uniform.

[She was beginning to feel deja vu from yesterday.]

Once Komi was fully dressed in her school uniform, she grabbed her school bag and ran downstairs! She didn't have time to say hi to her mom or sit down for breakfast.

Komi darted out of her house and ran down the street as fast as she could to Itan High School. She was in such a rush, she didn't notice that the streets were strangely empty.

At last, after a long sprint from her house, she reached the school entrance! Komi staggered into the school, heavily breathing and clutching onto her chest. She collapsed to her knees just as the school bell rang.

[She made it just in time.]

Komi sat down in front of her shoe locker, trying to recover and catch her breath. She felt a stinging pain in her chest as she gasped for air.

"Good morning, Komi!"

Komi shuddered. She recognized that voice immediately.

There was Yamai Ren, her eyes closed and her usual unnerving smile looking down at her.

"Oh no! Are you alright, Komi?!" Yamai asked, somewhat worriedly. "Your face is all red and you're breathing heavily!"

Komi didn't reply. Indeed, her face was red, but it wasn't totally because of the heat or her having run nonstop from her house.

Komi couldn't help but look down at Yamai's body.

Her nude body!

Yamai Ren stood in front of Komi wearing no uniform, no underwear, or even any socks or shoes.

Yamai Ren was completely naked.

...In public.

...At school.

Komi also saw that Yamai had no hair on her groin.

[She shaved it solely to impress Komi.]

Komi didn't know what to think. Yamai was certainly never forward enough to come to school with any clothes on.

"Oh my! Your uniform must be soaked in sweat after running in this heat!" Yamai said, acting oblivious to Komi freaking out. "Maybe you should take your clothes off and cool down naturally!"

Komi shook her head no violently. Nevertheless, Yamai crept up closer to Komi, making her back away. Yamai grabbed Komi by her cheeks.

"Come on, Komi!" begged Yamai. "Let's share our love for nudism!"

Yamai reached down to grab Komi's shirt collar, but Komi quickly broke away and ran as fast as she could away from her.

Komi ran up the stairs to the second floor, refusing to even acknowledge that what she just saw was real.

Komi was so freaked out that when she rounded the corner, she suddenly slammed into another classmate! They both tripped and fell to the floor.

"Oww!" they cried.

Komi lifted her head up and saw that she had knocked down Agari Himiko.

While Komi would be upset at accidentally knocking over a friend of hers, she was even more upset when she found out that much like Yamai, Agari was also walking around the school with her curvaceous figure exposed to the elements.

In other words, the otherwise nervous wreck Agari Himiko was completely naked.

...In public.

...At school.

"Oh, good morning, Komi!" Agari said, ignoring Komi's face buried in-between her large bosom.

Komi immediately jumped up and crawled backwards away from her. "How are you today?" Agari asked, cheerfully.

Agari then got up on her feet and spread her arms out. Her bare breasts were out for everyone to see and even her long green hair cascaded down her back. She then looked out the window. "It sure is a nice sunny day, isn't it? There's a great breeze passing through! It's all so relaxing!"

Agari then gently pinched her stomach. "I was worried that people were gonna make fun of me for being chubby," she said, "but this feels really good! Everyone is so…"

Her voice trailed off when she realized that Komi had disappeared. "Huh? Komi? Where'd you go?" she asked.

Unbeknownst to her, Komi was quietly panicking just around the corner out of sight from Agari.

[Komi slipped away while Agari was distracted.]

It was one thing if Yamai (and only Yamai) had come to school naked, but now seeing Agari, of all people, at school naked?

After some time had passed, Komi slowly peered around the corner. Luckily for her, Agari had already gone on her way.

But Komi was in for another surprise.

"Hey Komi! How's it going?"

Komi jumped as someone approached her from behind. She quickly turned around…and saw the "Big Sister" Onemine Nene looking right back at her.

"Finally! A sensible person!" is what Komi thought.

Komi shook Onemine wildly as she pointed to the hallway and waved her arms around frantically, trying to tell her about Yamai and Agari.

"Whoa, whoa! Slow down!" laughed Onemine. "Take a deep breath and tell me what's wrong."

Komi then froze in place, but not because Onemine told her to.

She looked down and got a good look at Onemine.

Yep, you guessed it.

Just like Yamai and Agari, Onemine Nene has gone full jaybird.

Or to put it in simpler terms, she was completely naked.

...In public.

...At school.

Yamai and Agari being at school naked was one thing, but someone like Onemine being naked?

Komi's face turned red as she slowly waved her arms to Onemine's nude body, wondering why she, of all people, was naked.

"Hmm?" Onemine asked, confused. "Do I have something on my stomach?"

Onemine looked down at her body, trying to figure out why Komi was freaking out.

Komi, finally fed up with everything, hastily took out a notebook and furiously scribbled down her question. She showed it to Onemine.

WhY aRE yOu NaKEd?!

[She literally scribbled in her notebook.]

"Why am I naked?" repeated Onemine. "Well, it's been so humid. And since everyone else in the school is naked too, I thought I'd join in. When in Rome, right?"

Komi was halfway through writing her next question when she suddenly stopped.

"...everyone else in the school? Naked too?! "

Komi froze in place as she tried to process what Onemine had just said. She was so deeply distraught that she let the pencil slip from her hands.

"Oh! Let me get that for you," Onemine said, bending down to pick up Komi's pencil.

[Even though Onemine's backside is facing away from Komi, Komi still looked up towards the ceiling.]

Komi then raced to her classroom. Was it really true that everyone in the school was naked?

As much as Komi dreaded it, there was only one way to find out.

She reached her classroom and wasted no time sliding the door wide open. And what Komi saw inside the classroom astounded her, something that truly blew her mind.

Inside the classroom, all of Komi's classmates were sitting at their desks, either talking amongst themselves or leaning back in their seats and relaxing. Everyone was happy and upbeat, unlike yesterday when everyone was exhausted and miserable from the heat.

And true to what Onemine said, everyone… everyone …was naked.

…

...In public.

…...

...At school.

And it wasn't just the girls in the buff, but also the boys.

[Thankfully, all the boys'... parts were covered by their desks.]

[Not that it helped Komi at all.]

"Boy, everyone sure is in a better mood than they were yesterday," said Onemine.

Komi wrote in her notebook again.

WHY is everybody at this school naked today?!

"Because of you, Komi!" answered Onemine. "Everyone saw how chipper you were yesterday. And when Najimi said that you both slept naked, everyone else decided to give it a try. And…well..everyone decided to do everything naked!"

Komi's eyes grew wide, her pupils smaller, and her face redder than ever! She cupped her face as her mind began shutting down.

[Komi was afraid that everyone would take Najimi seriously.]

[But she never thought this would be the end result.]

Not sure what to think or feel, Komi slowly walked over to her desk. She then placed her head on her desk, trying hard not to look at anyone's private parts.

[She's ready to go home.]

She listened as everyone else expressed how much they enjoyed being nude.

"Aww…this feels nice," sighed Katai Makoto as leaned back in his seat. He had a genuine smile on his face, not the intimidating, thuggish smile he usually had.

"You said it," said Inaka Nokoko, who was also feeling relaxed. "Now I truly feel like a city girl, basking in the sun! All that's missing is a pool!"

Komi then heard her chuunibyou friend Nakanaka Omoharu laugh evilly. She began posing, with her bare feet on her desk. "I must admit, I had my misgivings about this nudism thing," she said, boastfully, "but a night's rest in the nude has granted me powers far beyond my imagination! And to think that Komi was generous enough to let everyone in on the secret to her powers!"

[Komi had no idea what Nakanaka was saying.]

[Although, she wondered if Nakanaka was truly nude if she was still wearing her eyepatch.]

Nakanaka wasn't the only one posing. Naruse Shisuto stood in the corner, with his school jacket draped over his shoulder. He struck a pose reminiscent of David, Michelangelo's most famous work of art. Flashing a cocky smile (and then some), Naruse adjusted his glasses.

"Everyone's eyes are gazing upon my glorious nude body," he muttered to himself. "Not that I can blame them! I mean, I truly am a modern-day work of art!"

"Believe it or not, even when you're naked no one is looking at you," Kometani chimed in.

[Kometani is naked too.]

Komi did everything she could to not look in his direction. She was worried that everyone becoming nudists have made them even crazier than they were before.

"Wow…everyone is so happy," Otori said, blissfully. "I wish I was confident enough to get naked in front of everyone."

Onemine raised an eyebrow at her. "Uh…you are naked," she said.

"...huh…?"

Otori then patted down her body. It was only when she felt her bare breasts that she realized that she was indeed naked, like everyone else. She then stood still, her usual dopey grin on her face. "Oh…not again…" she said.

As everyone mingled about in the buff, Komi's mind began to wander. She began asking herself so many questions.

Was everyone really okay with being naked around each other?

How are the girls so comfortable around the guys?

Do the parents and teachers know about this?

Oh no…are the teachers naked too?!

Komi couldn't take it anymore. She began pinching herself, hoping to wake up from what was sure to be an awful dream she was having.

"Hey Komi, how come you're still wearing clothes?" Otori asked, innocently.

"Yeah, come on, Komi! Join in!" said Onemine.

Komi clutched onto the helm of her skirt and shook her head no. Even if she was the only one wearing clothes, she refused to get naked with everyone else.

"There's no need to be shy," chimed Agari. "If I can do it, so can you."

"Indeed, let us pose together and truly become the greatest masterpiece of the 21st century!" offered Naruse.

"I don't think she's gonna go for that," Kometani said.

"Please, princess!" pleaded Nakanaka. "We must hail your grace!"

"You need to get nude now!" growled Yamai, her eyes rolling into the back of her head.

Soon, Komi found herself surrounded by all of her nude classmates, each one begging for her to get naked like them.

[But not Kometani. He didn't care what Komi did.]

As they continued chanting in unison, Komi found herself suffocating from everyone seemingly closing in on her.

RIIIING!

Suddenly, Komi's eyes shot wide open as she heard a loud ringing noise. She came to her senses and realized that she was still in her room sleeping in her bed.

Just to be sure, she checked the time on her clock. It was 5:25 p.m.

Komi let out a sigh of relief as she plopped back down on her bed, hugging her cat plush.

[It really was just a dream.]

[Or more like a nightmare, from Komi's point-of-view.]

RIIIING!

Komi covered her face and kicked her feet as she realized she had a dream about seeing her friends naked. She heard of dreams of people appearing naked in a public place, but not the other way around.

RIIIING!

Komi's cat ears popped out as she realized where the ringing was coming from. She lifted her head up and saw that it was her cell phone making the ringing noise.

She hurriedly reached over to pick it up. She flipped her phone open and saw that it was Tadano calling her. She quickly answered his call.

"H…H…Hello?" she whispered.

" Hello? Komi? " asked Tadano.

Komi nodded her head, letting out a small gasp for Tadano to hear. She then looked down at herself and realized that she was still naked! She put her phone down on the desk and went to her closet.

" H-hello? " Tadano asked. " I wanted to talk to you about what Najimi said in school today. "

Komi didn't hear him as she was too busy looking for something to put on.

[Even though Tadano can't see her, she still felt embarrassed talking to him naked.]

Just then, her bedroom door swung open as her mother stepped in.

"Oh Shouko, you're home!" Shuuko said, happily. "I didn't even hear you come in!"

Komi let out a shrill scream as she quickly covered herself with her cat plushie. It was just barely big enough to reach her thighs.

[Komi completely forgot about her mom.]

[She also forgot to lock her bedroom door.]

Shuuko jumped back as her daughter waved her arms around crazily. Upon closer inspection, she saw that Komi's school uniform was scattered all around the floor. Seeing that plus Komi's bare feet and shoulders told her everything.

"S-Shouko?" she gasped. "Are you…are you naked? Are you a nudist?!"

Komi shook her head, denying everything.

But Shuuko wasn't buying it. Much to Komi's surprise, she began beaming brightly.

"Finally!" she said, proudly. "Someone else in this family is a nudist too!"

Shuuko then reached back to untie her apron. She then whipped it off her body, revealing herself to be naked underneath!

Komi let out another scream as her mother wrapped her arms around her, their breasts pressing against one another. "I'm so happy!" Shuuko said, nearly crying tears of joy. "I've waited so long for someone to share my love for nudism with! Now we can both be eternally 17!"

[And that's how Komi found out that her mom is a nudist.]

Tadano lay in bed with his phone held up to his ear. Having heard enough commotion, he quietly ended the call. He stared up at the top bunk with a blank expression on his face.

"Komi…a nudist?" he asked himself.

[Tadano heard everything.]

[Everything.]

A/N: Wow, this was certainly a chapter that just went wild, wasn't it? I've been watching the anime and reading ahead in the manga and I just thought it would be funny to get a glimpse of what it would be like if Komi's classmates became nudists. Hopefully, I got everyone's mannerisms down!
