A/N: I posted this the same day as the last chapter, so if you came here by clicking 'last chapter', you might wanna go back one. 3
AFTER CREDITS SCENE:
Gus looked down, his eyebrows raising as he took in the object spread out across the Psych floor. "Ok, wow."
"Right?" Shawn agreed, looking delighted.
"I didn't realize it would be this big."
"That's what Jules said last night," Shawn shot back, his grin growing.
Gus groaned, "Dude, TMI."
"That's also what Jules said last night."
"Shawn…"
"That's what-"
"Stop," Gus interrupted with a raised hand. "I'm glad you two are doing well. Can we please talk about this giant hammock taking up half of our office?"
"Sure." Shawn studied the hammock before giving his critique. "I think the rainbow was a great choice, don't you?"
Gus snapped back, "I told you we didn't have room. What are we supposed to do with it?"
Shawn looked around contemplatively. "You know, it could probably fit if we-"
"Nope. No, we are not making a super-desk," Gus immediately argued. "You know the rule, Shawn. Our desks don't touch."
"Whelp, I guess we're doomed. We're never going to be able to walk in our office again," Shawn said, looking delighted at the prospect.
"Or," Gus countered as a plan started to form, "we don't have it in our office."
"Well, where else are we going to put it? I paid good money for it, you know."
"I paid good money for it, you mean," Gus corrected absently before putting his plan into motion. "What if we brought it to the station?"
Shawn looked at him like he'd just suggested they launch his hammock to the moon. "Why would we do that? They already have a couch…"
"We have a couch," Gus pointed at the couch, dismissing the argument. "But I wasn't thinking the break room. I was thinking the secret storage room."
"What, where we keep the snacks?" Shawn asked before his eyes lit up in realization. "We could make the whole room our haven, not just the mini fridge!"
"Exactly."
And if Gus just happened to take a nap there once a month or so to check for premonition dreams… at least he'd be waking up somewhere quiet.
Shawn's thoughts started to pong faster, and he sprinted the three feet to his computer, his chair rolling slightly as he threw himself into it and started to type.
"What are you doing?" Gus asked.
"We need mood lighting. We're going to make a psychic haven in there," Shawn told him excitedly. "It'll be like a home-away-from-home."
"Psychic mood lighting?" Gus asked with a small smile.
"Just trust me."
Gus' smile grew and he knelt down to start rolling the hammock back up. He was sure whatever Shawn found would be ridiculous, overexaggerated, and perfect.
The ponging balls stuttered and Shawn let out a quiet, "Oh my god."
Gus listened to Shawn's thoughts for a second before returning to his task; they didn't sound concerned, so it couldn't be too bad.
"Oh my god, ohmygodohmygodohmygod!"
Gus rolled his eyes, refusing to take the bait. It couldn't be that big of a deal. If it was, Shawn would be-
"Oh! My! God!"
Gus looked up, suddenly interested. Shawn only broke out the Chandler Bing when something was legit.
Shawn looked back, his face glowing with sheer joy. "Dude. I have just found something that will change our lives forever." His voice grew louder in excitement. "Are you ready for this?!"
"What did you find?" Gus asked, properly intrigued.
Shawn spun his laptop around, showing a website with a bright green banner proudly bearing the word 'Psych-O's'. He grinned at Gus' shocked look as he announced, "We have FANS!"
A/N: Thank you, again, everyone!
For the moment, this is the end of Psychic!Gus, minus finishing up the Dark Psychic. I have a small idea that I haven't been able to play with yet, so there could be more in the future, but it's too early to promise anything on that.
Otherwise, I'm still working on the Whumptober prompts, (and only a few get super whumpy, fyi) and one of those stories, a slave!AU has caught my attention for a potential longfic.
I hope to see some of you guys around!
