Chapter 1
The Lich King Sat at his throne pleased with what had happen in these weeks. Not only had he been freed from his prison and took over that fool Arthas body, he had also used Arthas to destroy Illidan, the only one who ever came close to destroying him. He went out to his balcony and saw his loyal undead minions setting up base camps and extending his power. No one was as powerful as him. Suddenly, "AAACK" the lich king screamed in pain. For some reason the lich king's formidable powers had started to dwindle. He said to himself, "Why is this happening. I thought my powers would be fully restored and strengthened when I took over Arthas". "Wait…Arthas" the Lich king thought, "Arthas must be alive. Yes I can sense him. His spirit is still within this body. He must be using my life force to survive, but every time he takes a large amount, I lose more power. That fool Arthas must be expelled if I am to ever gain my full power back".
The lich King used his mental powers to try and find the answer. He sent out his mind to find anything to help. Someone or something that could expel Arthas from his body and regain his strength. "Wait, here it is" the Lich King said. "The Book of Skulls" using his mental powers he opened the book and started to read the spells until he found an exorcism spell. He read the requirements. The Book of Skulls, The Eye of Sargereas, andfour powerful magicians. The lich king was amazed at how complicated the spell was just to expel Arthas. So he listed the items he need and where they were. The book of Skulls is deep within the cave of the oracle on Kalimdor. After Defeating Illidan, the Night elves returned the Eye of Sargereas to the Maelstrom.
Next the Lich king needed to findfour powerful Magicians. He sent out his mind again, looking for the most powerful magicians on the whole planet. Within seconds the Lich kings search was over. He had found the Four Magicians and wrote where they were on the glacier wall next to the other requirements for the exorcism. One was located in the former city of Dalaran, another was located in Ashenvalle Forest, the third was located in a city in the Barrens and the final magician was located on a small island in the Barrens known as Theramore Isle.
The Lich King knew this would be a hard task. All of these Magicians were heavily protected. And the two artifacts are heavily guarded by guardians of old. He called forth his strongest warriors. My Unholy seven should be able to accomplish this job. The Unholy seven are the lich Kings seven strongest death knights. They each have different abilities and have proven themselves worthy fighters by driving the Blood elves and Naga out of Northrend single handedly. They are lead by a powerful Death knight, Lord Sorrow. Within a Few minutes the unholy seven stood and bowed under the Lich king. "What is it you please" Lord Sorrow asked the Lich king. "As you know my power is stronger than ever thanks to that fool Arthas. His youth renewed me. But somehow Arthas is alive. His spirit is within weakening my powers. I must have him removed at once. The list of items needed are on the glacier over there". They all read the Glacier wall. "I would like you all to split up and Retrieve these items for me. Do whatever it takes and take as many units as necessary. Now go and complete your task". "As you Wish my king", Lord Sorrow said and they all headed to get ready. The Lich King grinned happily. His power would return soon. He said to himself, "soon Arthas, you shall be gone. Then I Shall take over and rule this world with an Iron fist. The Lich king sat back down on his throne and waited for the unholy seven to complete there tasks.
