So hey yeah so remember how I said it wouldn't take three weeks, well guess what I didn't lie cause it took four this time.

What else can I say other than the past few weeks have been some of the busiest weeks I've had in a long time, and I really struggled to find time to write this fanfic.

However I said I was gonna finish this fanfic and I will even if it takes me years and so I will. Again I'm extremely sorry it took so long but life's weird people.

Konaha outskirts

On the outskirts of Konaha a small, four legged creature dashed across various trees. From behind three more figures chased the creature.

The three figures chased the creature all across the forest, until finally one of the figures took a dive and successfully caught the creature now revealed to be a black cat.

"Hahaha, I got you!" Laughed the blond in the orange jumpsuit before crying out in pain as the cat began scratching his face.

"Common naruto you gotta be more gentle with the cat" sakura argued.

Sasuke simply sighed as he reported to their sensei through a earbud, "mission complete we got the cat"

Kakashi then appeared in front of them in a poof of smoke, "Great job team, you caught the cat, good work"

"WAIT!" Sakura yelled frustrated, "you were here the entire time and not once did you consider helping us! What happened to you had something important to do?!"

"Well I mean it was just a cat." kakashi calmly stated.

"I mean it was just a cat," sakura frustratedly mocked, "yeah right, that was no cat, what kind of cat can jump vast distances across multiple trees. I mean we were chasing it for an hour."

"A special cat that's what. Anyways come on follow me we gotta get poor little Torah back to it's mother" kakashi said as he walked away, "oh and sasuke, sakura help naruto out with the cat we don't want to lose it again."

Sakura's head was burning with anger, "the audacity of that man" she thought.

Hokage office

"Oh my little Torah, oh how I missed you so!" An old woman cried as she squeezed Torah the cat in a loving hug.

Naruto chuckled as he saw the cat being squashed by the woman, "stupid cat, deserves to be squashed"

"Well at least I now know why it ran away" sakura remarked.

Sasuke gave out a sigh as the old woman continued to sweet talk the cat before eventually leaving.

Lord third smoking a pipe took out a paper from his desk before announcing squad 7s next mission.

However as lord third began naming several possible tasks for team 7 to complete naruto bursted out, "No, I've had it with these sad excuses for a mission, I want something challenging, I want a real mission old man, come on let me prove myself!"

"He's not wrong, theses missions aren't missions, they're chores! At this rate I'll never be able to prove myself and begin my hunt for him." Sasuke thought.

Sakura sighed, "come on naruto we're just Genin with practically no experience, what do we know about how things are done"

"Sakura is precisely right." The Hokage said, "The point of giving you these missions is because you are far from ready for any truly dangerous missions."

"Haven't you learnt anything yet you from our various battles old man, well I'll tell you this one more time stop under estimating or else" naruto preached before preparing a hand sign

Sexy jut-

Before naruto could activate his ultimate technique he received a smack to the head from behind by kakashi sensei.

"Ow" naruto groaned as he grabbed his head in pain,"why'd you do that?"

"Naruto listen!" Kakashi said coldly freaking naruto out.

Now fully paying attention to the old man naruto waited for him to take another smoke from his pipe before continuing.

"Listen naruto our village gets many different requests that range from simple babysitting to assassinations. These requests are then carefully recorded, analyzed and ranked S, A, B, C, or D depending on the difficulty of the request. This is why the ninja ranks exist, to help determine who is suitable for each mission rank. If a mission is successful we get a fee for completing it, and of course the higher a mission is ranked, the more we get paid for completing it." The Hokage explained, "this is all to say that since you're all Genin and no more than a month onto your Shinobi path, you get assigned D rank missions."

"Enough!" Naruto yelled, "listen old man, I'm sure you've heard but I'll say it again I'm gonna be Hokage someday, and these lame chores aren't helping me at all on my road to my dream! So I want a real mission, listen I'm not a prankster anymore I'm a ninja, you hear me, a real ninja, believe it!"

"Naruto..." The old man sighed, "listen it's for all of your safety, you're not ready for-"

"You're not my dad old man" naruto said, "Stop protecting me, I'm never gonna learn anything if me don't give us a real challenge"

There was a cold silence.

Naruto didn't notice it but his teammates and sensei noticed that his words just hit the old man.

Then lord third opened one of his drawers as he began searching through a scroll before stopping, "Alright Naruto, you win"

Naruto jumped up, "wait really?!"

"Yes, I'll give you a C-rank escorting mission" the old man said with a grin.

"Haha alright!" Naruto fist bumped into the air.

Sasuke tried clenched his fist with excitement.

"W-wait Lord third I-i mean n-naruto is probably just a little tired, I-i mean we're fine w-with the D-class missions" sakura shook with worry.

Kakashi was the only one who saw the Hokages grin, he couldn't quite pinpoint what but it appeared to kakashi that the old man had struck gold or something. He didn't understand why but it seemed to him as though lord third had some ulterior motives.

"So who are we escorting? A princess?" Naruto wondered.

"Don't be so hasty naruto, I'll bring him in. In the meantime wait on the couch over there until I comeback." The old man grinned as he walked out of his office.

10 minutes later

Naruto was waiting ever so excited for who they'd be escorting. Sasuke stood in silence although deep down he was just as thrilled as naruto, finally with a chance to prove himself.

Sakura was unbelievable stressed, "A C-ranked mission? There's no way we're ready for something like that, I mean the rules say that Genin like us should only get D-ranked missions?! Right?!"

Sakura saw her sensei who was busy looking out the window, "well he's not gonna be any help"

Sakura then glared towards the enthusiastic naruto, "It's his fault!" She reasoned, "if that idiot hadn't said anything... I... no We are not ready! Doesn't he get that!".

"Naruto!" Sakura called out.

The blond quickly turned, "huh, oh hey sakura what's up-"

"Why in the world would you ever ask for a mission we aren't ready for!" Sakura cut off, "I mean there's a clear reason why we are getting D-ranked missions!"

"Oh yeah!" Naruto said now clearly annoyed, "and why is that"

"Because we aren't ready you idiot" sakura answered.

"Sakura we'll never get our chance to prove ourselves if we just wait for our chance, we need to take action and make our chance!" Naruto replied.

"Our chance, naruto don't be ridiculous, you did this for no one but yourself, don't try to play this off like you did this for me, or sasuke, or the team! You because just had to be in the spotlight, because you just had to stand out like those hokages you admire so. Well guess what naruto you were wrong you haven't changed at all you're no ninja, your just a kid playing the fool!" sakura blasted out.

Naruto was severally enraged now, "Sure maybe I'm a little selfish, and yeah deep down I know I'm a fool that this village holds nothing but hate for, but at least I'm striving for my end goal, to be Hokage!" then naruto points his finger at sakura while giving her a wicked glare, "What about you sakura?! You said you wanted to be a legendary kunoichi, but what exactly have you done to help accomplish it."

Sakurawas still for a moment but then retaliated, "Well It's not like I'm in a rush or anything... Besides if the moment calls for it I'll face whatever challenge head on. Hell I'll even face this challenge which you thrusted me into, but to go out of your way to find the challenge is an unnecessary risk."

Naruto was silent, "I'll remember that." He spoke and finished with, "I just hope when the time comes you'll remember those words."

Overhearing their conversation sasuke saw them both as fools, acting as though they'd do anything except be a burden to him. In truth in his mind only he was truly ready for the upcoming mission.

Kakashi who also overheard the argument simple sighed, "I'll remember that too naruto. And I hope when the time comes you'll remember your words too."

After a solid minute naruto composed himself and wasn't as angry, but now more irritated then anything. Sakura was like the only girl he really liked, and now he's facing the fact that she's not quite what she thought she was. Still he didn't quite hate her like Ino or any of the other girls, and he especially preferred her over sasuke, but still he now felt this hole in his stomach he felt would never recover. What exactly that hole was he hadn't the slightest clue.

Then he heard foot steps approaching, naruto immediately glued his gaze on the door, "Finally! Oh I wonder who it could be, haha I bet it's a princess and a beautiful one too" naruto giggled to himself as he saw the door open.

Suddenly all of naruto's excitement disappeared as he saw the old man, and another old man but much dirty and with a bottle of sake. "Who in the world is that! He ain't no princess!" naruto announced aloud.

The man looked at the genin and grunted, "Seriously all you got are a bunch of snot nosed kids?! There's no way any of you are ninja!"

A vein suddenly popped on naruto's, "Why you!" naruto barked before trying to charge the man, but his efforts were immediately thwarted by kakashi who had him hanging in the air by the jacket using one hand.

"You can't attack the client naruto" kakashi sighed. Meanwhile naruto was although held back still barked various mean less insults while waiving a kunai around.

Kakashi then chopped naruto in the head, taking his kunai and pouch of equipment in an instant and stood over the now weaponless naruto, "Well are you going to behave?"

Naruto crossed his arms, "Fine, I'll be cool" reluctantly said.

Lord third now at his desk asked, "Well sir if you don't mind please, feel free to introduce yourself."

The man after taking a sip of his bottle of sake said, "The names Tazuna, I'm a bridge builder from the land of waves, and I'm currently building a bridge that'll change the world, and I expect you or rather him to get me there safely" Tazuna ended with pointing at Kakashi.

Naruto was about to begin another argument, but kakashi placed a hand on his shoulder. Naruto looked up and saw kakashi give him a terrifying glare which caused naruto to calm down.

"Thank you Tazuna please feel free to go a get ready, while I have a couple words with the squad here." Lord third declared.

Tazuna once again grunted before taking his leave.

The Hokage then tapped his finger on the desk and sasuke, sakura and begrudgingly naruto kneeled. After doing so many D-ranked missions and having equally as many slaps to the head from kakashi sensei naruto eventually and begrudgingly began kneeling to lord third.

"As I'm sure you've all surmised, this mission might be above your current ability, but that's for the future to decide. Missions like this don't happen often so I suggest to take full advantage of this mission, and excel! I expected great things to come from this for all of you so don't disappoint me." Hiruzen declared as he handed kakashi a file of information about the mission, "dismissed"

Team 7 then all bowed before exiting, and the moment they left, naruto jumped as he celebrated. For all the terrible things that just happen, the argument with sakura, there being no princess, and having a escort a smelly old man to another country, naruto was still getting a chance to prove himself. Sure the mission itself probably could have been better but still this was his chance and he wasn't going to waste it, he'll have this mission done before sunset.

"Alright go home and pack your bags be back here in an hour" kakashi announced with a sigh.

Deeply confused naruto asked, "Why?"

"It's for the mission we are gonna be gone for at least a couple of days, probably a week so you better get ready for the long haul." Kakashi said then flashed away.

"Wait aren't missions not supposed to last for more than day" naruto asked again but kakashi was gone.

"Naruto that's only for D-ranked missions, more often than not D-ranked missions don't go outside the village." sakura pointed out.

Sasuke sighed, "I shouldn't be surprised, but of course someone like you would ask for something challenging without knowing precisely what you're getting into"

Naruto like a predator began to glare at sasuke, "what's that supposed to mean" he asked coldly.

"It means you're all talk and no brains, and I'm willing to bet your no action either. Or in idiot form when the time comes for you to prove yourself, you'll falter." Sasuke finished returning an even more intimidating glare at naruto before walking away to pack for the trip.

Naruto was speechless, he tried to think of a comeback but fell short as he heard sakura giggle from behind. He blushed in embarrassment and humiliation as he, clenched his fist, "He made me look pathetic, damn Sasuke, I'll make him look pathetic too one day believe it!" He promised himself.

Sakura watched as sasuke shut up that blonde buffoon, and she couldn't hold back her giggle, although she wasn't exactly thrilled at the fact sasuke caused her to giggle like that, still it was at least worth it to stick it to naruto. Then she took her leave, she wondered what her parents would think of her mission, they'd definitely be worried but maybe they'll be proud or both at the same time, she smiled thinking of the possibilities.

Naruto was left alone, "well I suppose I better get packing" naruto thought before rushing off to his home.

Konaha Entrance:

Naruto with a backpack and his hands on his hips looked forward and saw and endless sea of trees with a road before him. This was it his first real mission, "Yeah! All right!" He screamed "Haha! My first real mission! Common team let's go"

Naruto only ran a few steps before being picked up by kakashi.

"Hey what're you doing" naruto asked.

Kakashi then turned him as naruto was now facing Tazuna as he was pulling a wagon about ten feet long filled with a bunch of metals and woods.

"The whole point of this mission is to escort the client" kakashi reminded, "and as you can see with all those materials he isn't exactly gonna be going full throttle, so stay be sure to stay within ten feet of either him or the wagon."

"You can't be seriou..." Before naruto finished his sentence he noticed kakashi's death glare, "oh you're very serious"

"Your kidding me does this kid not know anything, your telling me I'm supposed to trust this runt to protect me and my supplies. This kids a joke."

"Don't worry, he might not be much but I'm a Jonin so there shouldn't be much to worry about." Kakashi replied.

Meanwhile the man's words echoed in naruto's head "he's a joke" over and over. Then naruto giggled a bit, "You know I get." He admitted, "I'm certainly not the most talented, nor the most intelligent, or even mature ninja. And that's been true for as long as I can remember."

He stared at the sky, then back at the bridge builder and pointed a finger at him, "But that ends today! Listen well old man, I Naruto Uzumaki am going to become Hokage, and you along with everyone else who's ever underestimated me will be sorry! Believe it!"

The man took a sip of sake before replying, "Hokages are strong and wise, you are puny and brainless. The day you become Hokage will be the day pigs fly."

Naruto clutched his fist, "listen to me I am going to become Hokage, no matter what it takes and when I do you and everyone else will have no choice but to respect me!"

The man chuckled, "please you could become Hokage a thousand times over and I'd still call you a nobody, a loser."

Naruto had enough and charged at the man, but was chopped in the head by kakashi who sent naruto crashing to the floor,"I told you to protect the client naruto!"

"ouch" naruto groaned softly getting up, by which point the bridge builder began pulling his wagon and the mission had officially begun.

Land of Fire Forest: 1 Day later

Even though it had only been a day since the mission began, the team has been making great progress. This was mainly due to the Genin and kakashi helping out by pushing or pulling the wagon while the old bridge builder rested. Currently Kakashi was pulling the wagon with minimal difficulty while Tazuna was sleeping on a seat in front of the wagon and the Genin walking beside the wagon.

"Hey kakashi sensei" sakura interrupted. "Mister Tazuna said he was from the land of waves right?"

"That's correct" kakashi answered.

"So I wanted to ask why didn't this man hire any ninja from his own country, I mean the land of waves has ninja right?" She continued.

Kakashi scratched his head, "Actually funny you should mention that, the land of waves is actually one of only two countries on this continent to not have a ninja village, thus there are no ninja. At least on an official capacity."

"Huh, wait how does that work" naruto butted in.

"Oh boy naruto, we'll since this is a long complicated topic I'll make it as simple as possible" kakashi sighed, "A ninja village as the name would suggest is a village where ninja exists. In order for ninja village to be successful 3 basic criteria must be met, which are, a system to train ninja, a system to pay ninja, and a creed the ninja. For now we need to just focus on a system to pay ninja, which has been universally excepted through all nations to be the D through S ranking system. Regardless of the mission it is common courtesy for 20% of all mission earnings to be returned to the ninja village. So the ninja villages need ninja, and likewise ninja need ninja villages to offer consistent missions. Of course with such a large market 20% isn't much in the grand scheme of things for what is a consistent and never ending supply of missions. Plus with the market being as large as it is, ninja villages are recognized on a national level with nearly every country being host to at least one ninja village. Of course due to the competitive nature of ninja villages countries usually only have one to prevent infighting. Our host nation is as you know the land of fire, and you stop listening didn't you."

Naruto who stopped listening to Kakashi long ago was staring at the sky as he saw a bunch of clouds, "you know, I never quite understood why shikamaru liked staring at clouds"

3 hours later:

Team 7 continued their march through the forest to the land of waves, Tazuna began pulling the wagon again and sakura was beginning to get a little hungry, they had a lunch break a couple hours ago and she didn't quite understand exactly why she was hungry. Now though, as the sun began setting she grew increasingly stressed, then she realized. She was scared, "me no! It can't be" however deep down she feared that one night when she was most vulnerable a criminal or worse enemy ninja would strike.

Then she slipped in a puddle of water, much to the laughter of naruto.

Kakashi helped her up, "come on let's go"

Sakura grunted, "He could have at least tried to sound more concerned!"

She felt embarrassed, and that wasn't exactly helping her fear of getting killed in her sleep. "Kakashi sensei, hypothetically speaking if we get ambushed while we are sleeping, what do we do." Sakura asked.

"You die" Kakashi said coldly.

Sakura could have sworn she had a heart attack in that moment, lucky or unlucky it subside when kakashi began chuckled.

He then turned to sakura and smiled behind his mask, "Don't worry, I have plenty of ways to deal with something like that, besides you don't got to worry at all in a C-ranked mission like this the worst enemies we'll face if any at all are common thugs with no ninja training in the slightest. Even you guys could take people like that out."

Then suddenly from the puddle sakura slipped on two individuals emerged from the water and using a spiked chain they quickly entangled kakashi in it before pulling on it causing kakashi's body to burst in a horrendous sight.

Sakura screamed in terror, and naruto absolutely shocked could do nothing but watch as the remains of his sensei hit the ground.

"What's the matter brat, you scared!" One of the men chuckled from behind the frozen naruto. The man had a metal gauntlet equip with sharp claws and a chain.

Naruto in fear glanced back as he saw the man try to slice his head off with the gauntlet, but just when naruto thought he was gonna die he received a kick to the guy from sasuke which instinctively caused naruto to crouch down to hold his stomach, thus dodging the attack.

Quick to action, sasuke after saving naruto without a second to lose threw two shuriken just left of the enemy that attacked naruto, and with incredible skill one of the shuriken was bounced off the other and was now heading straight towards the enemy.

Quickly the enemy reacted and blocked sasuke's little stunt, "impressive this kid is..." Before he finished that thought sasuke once again wasting no time immediately jammed a in his stomach, and while the enemy was feeling the sting again with his other hand got another kunai and prepared to stab him face, but before he could a chain was wrapped around his hand by the other ninja.

"Haha, truly pathetic Gozu, to think you were about to be done in by a Genin." the enemy with the chain around sasuke's arm mocked.

"Shut up! Meizu, and why haven't you killed the old man yet you fool" Gozu yelled back.

"Hey their's no rush after all what can these Genin do" Meizu laughed.

"So the demon brothers huh" a familiar unenthusiastic voice called out. Immediately after the chain wrapped around sasuke's arm was cut apart, as kakashi stood over it's remains with his blade out as it was glowing white.

The Brothers immediately jumped back in terror, "impossible!?" They both yelled at the same time.

"Eh not quite, I'd expected better from infamous rogue chunin. Next time choose a better hiding place than a puddle especially when there hasn't been raining for miles." Kakashi mocked.

The demon brothers looked at each other before nodding as Gozu was about to make a hand sign, but in an instant kakashi blitzed to his position and cut off his hand with the gauntlet.

"Sorry but I don't think so, any last words" kakashi said standing over Gozu who had a puddle of blood Infront of him.

Then kakashi heard the hissing sound of and explosive about to detonate. Unbeknownst to kakashi, Gozu was merely a distraction for Meizu to set off the explosion. Kakashi realization of this created a small distraction. It wasn't long, but enough for Gozu to blitz away unfortunately without his arm which was left behind because there wasn't a moment to lose.

Kakashi ignored chasing the armless, and quickly blitzed towards the source of the explosion, and found a paper bomb on the wagon which he promptly cut disabling the explosion.

To the Genin they never even notice kakashi move let alone stop the explosion. As they all looked at kakashi in awe.

Naruto was speechless at kakashi's strength, speed, and just everything about him.

"Good work sasuke." kakashi praised

"What!" Naruto yelled, " what do you mean, good work sasuke, he kicked me in the stomach!"

"And what were you doing?!" Sasuke questioned raising his voice.

"I-... I was..." naruto stopped and realized.

Sasuke scoffed, "Back in the Hokages office you talked such a big game about wanting to prove yourself! But when the moment came you could do nothing, and stood still like an idiot! You may have been right about sakura being useless naruto, but when it comes down to you're as much of a burden because both of you stood still and did nothing!"

Naruto was speechless, then he glanced and saw sakura with her eyes wide open, still shaking with shock. "She's scared" he idiotically realized.

"You bark, and bark all about how, I'm gonna be Hokage, and that everyone just has to, believe it, but on what grounds naruto! Who's gonna believe in a hypocrite, who's gonna believe in someone calling another person a coward when they themselves are a coward! Nobody!"

"He's right naruto" kakashi interrupted.

Naruto was motionless, sasuke was right, in that fight all he did was be a burden, and do nothing when it counted most. He felt complete despair and was demoralized beyond belief.

"Mr. Tazuna" kakashi called out. Kakashi noticed the man was clearly shaken, but not quite surprised, "Might I ask why would some of the most infamous rogue ninja be hunting you down?"

Tazuna scoffed in silence.

Kakashi shook his head in disapproval, "Why didn't you make it clear that you were being hunted by ninja, if we knew this it would be a B rank mission or higher, our task was simply to get you to your destination and guard you and your supplies from the common criminal. If we knew we'd be fielding attacks from enemy ninja we would have staffed differently and charged for that of a B rank mission or higher. Whatever your reasons, lying to us is not acceptable." Kakashi ended firmly.

After taking a moment to cool off kakashi watched as both sakura and naruto shook with intense emotions, and sasuke who had his hands in his pocket clearly deep in thought. Then he noticed naruto had a wound on his hand. Kakashi went up to naruto grabbed his hand and analyzed it before realizing it was poison from the smell.

"Hey what are you..." naruto asked who was walking away.

Kakashi then found the severed hand of Gozu, and the gauntlet it was in. After taking a whiff he realized naruto was likely scraped and in fact poisoned.

"We're going back" kakashi announced.

"What!" Naruto and Sasuke blurted out simultaneous.

"Kakashi sensei please you can't, we'll probably never get another chance if this is how this mission ends!" Naruto begged.

"That's besides the point naruto, this missions danger level has just risen drastically and may in fact continue to rise. Plus you see that mark on your hand naruto?"

"No I'm fine, it's just a scratch" naruto reasoned.

"You've been poisoned!" Kakashi said bluntly.

There was silence.

Kakashi sighed breaking the silence, "Listen unless you wish to die we have to return to the village to get you a cure, that's if you even survive that long."

Naruto saw the wound, he was furious, how could such a tiny scratch cause him this much pain. He growled silently in anger, This little cut is gonna cost me everything, if I return to the village, I'll be laughed at, ridiculed, and..." Naruto stopped, he looked at sasuke who was having the exact same reaction as him, fist clenched and growling in frustration. You may have been right about sakura being useless naruto, but when it comes down to you're as much of a burden, sasuke's words rung in Naruto's ears, "a burden, a burden, a burden..." he thought over and over.

Naruto then immediately took out a kunai and stabbed his would as he let all the blood run down his hand onto the floor. The action caught everyone by surprise, as naruto panted in pain.

"I worked so hard" naruto said softly, "and I've endured so much doubt from everyone around me. I pushed myself constantly day and night and it's lead me to here, my first chance to show everyone what I'm really made of. All to reach my dream! As if I'm gonna let one filthy cut stop me, I won't be the reason we have to return, I won't be a burden!" Naruto finished with a shout.

His passion was unlike anything before, his shear determination hit everyone.

"Naruto I get but..." Kakashi said but was interrupted.

"Me too!" Sakura spoke up, "I-i was useless there, and after I said I'd rise to the challenge if it would've presented itself. Pathetic I know. But please kakashi let us continue this mission I want to prove to if not you then to myself that I won't be a burden anymore."

Sasuke watched as his two teammates reinforced their wills, and he couldn't help but grin a little.

"That's great and all sakura, but I was just going to ask naruto to stop letting his blood run out, because otherwise he's gonna die."

After a brief silence naruto began quaking in terror.

"No, no, no, ahhh it can't end like this! Ahhhh I'm to young to die, ahhhh!" Naruto blubbered.

"Show me your hand" kakashi sighed.

In quick succession naruto showed kakashi his hand. To kakashi's disbelief the wound had begun healing.

"Ahhh is something wrong, you got a very serious look on your face so is it serious or not!" naruto continued blubbering.

"Oh no, it should be fine now" kakashi said as he wrapped naruto's hand up in a bandage. "This healing, could it be coming from the Kyuubi?"

After finishing bandaging up naruto, kakashi looked at everyone around him, and after taking a deep sigh answered, "Ok fine, we'll continue the mission."

"Alright!" Naruto and Sakura celebrated.

"But!" Kakashi interrupted as he stared straight towards Tazuna, "you have to tell me exactly what's going on, and who we're dealing with."

The Genin each looked towards Tazuna with murderous eyes. The old man sighed, "I suppose I don't really have a choice now but too tell you do I. Well it's like you said my situation is beyond the scope of a C ranked mission. The man who seeks my life is a very short but powerful man, his name is Gato. He owns a shipping company that has taken root as the only supplier of goods all throughout the land of waves, and in an island nation a man who controls the sea controls everything. With this monopoly over the nation he's become ridiculous rich and wealthy to the point that he's practically the undisputed dictator of our country. How thankfully I was lucky enough to get the approval and financial aid from the daimyo of the land of fire to build a bridge connecting to the main continent. Since Gato really doesn't want to piss off the daimyo, instead of targeting the bridge directly he's targeting me. Listen to me I don't know just what kind of ninja Gato has employed but it's unlikely he's gotten the support of any of the other great nation who would most definitely not want to start another great ninja war, but with his shear amount of funds he could theoretical buy any rogue ninja who's willing to take the job. I know it's a lot to ask but I'm begging you to continue the mission, please it's the only way the people of the land of waves will be free. We've lived in poverty because of that man for decades please!" Tazuna begged on his knees.

Sasuke's eyes were wide open, "any rogue ninja who's willing to take the job." His heart was racing, "would you take the job, of so I'll kill you, I promise"

Sasuke then noticed kakashi was looking back at him. Sasuke frowned, "he knows, but it doesn't matter, give me all the faces you want but if he comes I will not hesitate to kill him at any cost"

Kakashi after looking at sasuke turned back to Tazuna, "Alright, alright Jesus you don't have to keep crying about it, we'll do the mission, but first we should rest the sun's going down and I'm hungry for dinner."

Hideout in a misty Forest:

"You failed! YOU FAILED!" a short man screamed and pointed at two individuals on there knees, "Gosh I put out big money for your services and your best lieutenants failed, what kind of amateurs are these two anyways!"

Meizu and Gozu the armless were angry that they couldn't snap Gato's neck but so is the nature of their business, they were tools and tools don't complain.

"Stop whining!" said another man on a throne, he had a mask covering everything below his eyes, was shirtless, and wore grey leggings, but his most distinguish attribute wasn't what he was wearing, it was what he held. It was a long blade wide blade the size of a person. He held the blade up to Gato's neck, "Don't worry this time, I'll go personally."

Ninja Academy Lesson: Ninja Ranks

"Iruka sensei, Iruka sensei"

"I wanted to ask you what ninja ranks of correspond for each rank mission ."

"Oh naruto we went over this in the academy don't you remember."

"Alright fine, As you know there are 4 ninja ranks, and 5 mission ranks. Typically a D ranked mission is exclusively for Genin. C ranked missions are for less experienced Chunin, B ranked missions are for the average Chunin. A ranked missions are for the average Jonin, and lastly S ranked missions are typically given to only the most elite Jonin, or the Kage themselves. However it is important to remember that it is not uncommon for a ninja to take on a mission ranked higher or lower than their own personal rank."

Just like Iruka sensei said I'm out of time, getting this out pretty late on Tuesday but hey at least it's out.
