It's now later on in the day Raven and Chelsea are in the kitchen talking at the table. While Nadine is playing games with all the kids on the TV.
Chelsea: Wow Nadine's really good with them isn't she?
Raven: As much as I hate to say it she is.
Chelsea: I really don't think she's that bad Rae.
Raven: Yeah I can't lie she's been real helpful to me even though she supposed to be helping you.
Chelsea: Well she's still been helping me too I been forwarding all the business calls to her. She has great customer service skills.
Raven: Oh I didn't know that.
Chelsea: Yeah she would have still been there full time. But only because Devon was going to send for your mom to help you.
Raven: Really, why didn't she come?
Chelsea: Because of the weather she wasn't going to be able to come until Sunday but Devon told her to just wait because the weather was going to be super bad. Devon didn't tell you all this?
Raven: (looking sad) No
Chelsea: Wow well maybe you should have a conversation with him Rae. Tell him how your really feeling.
Raven: Your right I'm going to call him now.
Chelsea: Okay I will be in the other room with them to give you two some privacy.
Raven: Thanks Chelsea he should be on break now.
Once Chelsea walked out Raven called Devon.
Devon: Hello
Raven: Can we talk real quick?
Devon: What is it Rae? I'm working...
Raven: I'm sorry about last night the past is the past. I just been feeling so alone lately with not working at the shop. And your always at work and when you do come home you go straight to bed. I just miss you so much.
Devon: Damn Rae why you didn't just say that last night. I'm sorry I have been working long hours but only because of the weather I swear.
Raven: So I'm not getting on your nerves or pushing you away?
Devon: WHAT NEVER RAE! I love you.
Raven: (smile) I love you too I just don't want everything to fall apart again for us.
Devon: I promise you I won't let it happen again. (A person in the background calls him) damn baby I gotta go but I will be home soon as I can.
Raven: Okay
Devon: Make sure everyone stay in the house the weather is about to get bad.
Raven: Okay your not going to be in it are you?
Devon: Baby that's my job. (Somebody calls him again) I gotta go!
Raven: Okay Devon please be careful! Okay? Devon!! (Raven looked at her phone and saw the call had ended seconds ago) God please make sure he is safe.
Just then Nadine walked in the kitchen
Nadine: Oh hay (she said walking past Raven to get something out the refrigerator)
Raven: Hay I just talked to your brother.
Nadine: Really what D talking about?
Raven: He said to tell everyone to stay in because the weathers getting bad.
Nadine: Oh he ain't gotta worry about me I just got my hair did I ain't going out there for nothing.
Raven: (lightly laughed) Nadine can we talk for a moment.
Nadine: What did I do now?
Raven: Nothing I just wanted to apologize for the way I been treating you. You came all the way here to help me and I have been treating you like your my enemy.
Nadine: Maybe we were enemy's once before but that's not what I want now Raven. You know life is just to short for all that.
Raven: Your so right I'm sorry if I made you feel like you wasn't welcome around the twins after me and Devon broke up.
Nadine: Thanks Rae that means a lot to me. I do feel like I have missed out on a lot with the twins. I should have tried to be around a little more.
Raven: Yeah and that was partly my fault too I didn't encourage it. I'm sorry
Nadine: I'm sorry too would it be to much to ask for a hug sister?
Raven: Yes little sister (They hugged each other)
Nadine: Oh my God did I just feel him kick?
Raven: Yes you did mane I can't wait to drop this boy right in all y'all's laps. He be doing backflips and everything.
Nadine: I can't wait I'm going to spoil him rotten I just want you to know that. (They both laughed when the lights went out)
