Flashback (3 Years Ago)

Aurora's Age: (17 Years Old)

Location: Mandalore

Third Person's POV

"C'mon Zara, you can do better than that!" Aurora said to Zara who was lying flat on her back on the ground. Both Aurora and Zara were in the palace's courtyard, sparing with each other, and clearly based on Aurora's training…Aurora was winning.

Zara sighed. "I'm not as athletic as you…remember, I didn't start sparing with you until a few months ago."

Aurora smirked and held her right hand out so Zara could pull herself up. "Still though, you are being trained by one of the galaxy's best assassins…consider this an honor."

Zara rolled her eyes. "More like being trained by one of the galaxy's most self-absorbed princess."

Aurora broke out into laughter at Zara for that comment. The reason why Aurora and Zara looked so much alike is because they were technically related. Aurora's grandfather, Adonai had a brother named Ramsay, whom had a daughter named Yara, who died while giving birth to her daughter, who is Zara. Zara's father, Jaspar, died during the Mandalorian Civil Wars, which left Zara as an orphan, as her grandfather and parents were deceased. Satine then decided to take Zara as a Foundling, and to keep Aurora company while she was gone. While Zara was not a Princess, she was given the title 'Lady of the Court'. While many assumed that Zara was Aurora's handmaiden, since she was the one usually dragging Aurora out of bed in the morning Aurora and Zara were like sisters…and treated each other with respect.

"So where were you the other night?" Zara asked as she stood up. "With Gar Saxon, I presume?"

Aurora smirked. "Why? You jealous?"

Zara shook her head. "Not in the slightest, out of all the men you have slept with over the past few years, why would you choose Saxon of all the men in the galaxy."

"It's just fun Zara, nothing to worry about…besides he wants me to give up my title for him…and that is something I will never do." Aurora sighed.

"Because then I'll be the heir." A voice from behind her explained, making Aurora turn around to see her cousin Korkie standing on the steps behind her that lead back into the palace.

"Over my dead body." Aurora said with a smirk. "You're far too young."

"Hey!" Korkie responded in defense. "Just because you are older than me, and directly related to Auntie Satine, doesn't mean Zara or I could take your place."

Aurora and Zara both rolled their eyes.

"Whatever you say." Zara explained. "As long as you act like a Prince, and not like a hooligan."

Aurora started to snicker making Korkie frown at Zara. The three of them were like siblings, as that's how they were all raised. They all looked like they were siblings, with their blonde hair and blue eyes. In other words, as many leaders explained 'they fit the typical Kryze model'.

"I am not a hooligan!" Korkie protested in amusement. "If anything, Ro is the hooligan…sneaking off…fooling around with Saxon…galivanting around the galaxy being a sl…"

Aurora playfully shoved her cousin. "Don't start!"

"There you three are." A voice came from the steps.

All of them turned to see Satine standing at the stop of the steps that led into the courtyard.

"I was wondering where you all went off to." She explained as she descended the steps. "You all should be packing and getting ready to head to Coruscant for the Senate assembly. What could possibly be so important for you all to be out here rather than being inside?"

Zara quickly glanced at Aurora who was pushing her fingernails into her palms. When she was nervous, she'd do this to the point where it would draw blood.

"My lady." Zara began. "We just wanted to see the weather, we all wanted to get outside."

Satine nodded in suspicion. "I see. Well, come along then, you all are requested to finish."

All three of them walked back up the steps out of the courtyard following the Duchess.

"Thank you." Aurora whispered.

Zara rolled her eyes in amusement. "I've saved your ass too many times now…you owe me."

Aurora smiled. "And you say I'm self-centered."

Present Day

Location: Coruscant

Aurora's POV

"This is useless." I explained with a groan as one of the many healers in the Jedi Temple patched up my arm.

"It is not useless." Obi-Wan explained as he decided to oversee my visit to the medical bay to ensure that I got treatment for my arm along with any other wounds I might've had. "You were wounded by a droid's blaster; it is essential for you to be healed."

"Why? I honestly could care less. I should be with Ahsoka, suppose they run into trouble." I protested as the droid began to stitch my arm.

Geenine beeped in response to my comment and rolled up to be alongside of me. I reached out my left arm to touch her bronze dome.

"Ahsoka will be fine." He began. "And with regards to your arm, what would happen if it became infected? What would happen if it would need to be amputated."

I shrugged. "Then amputate it."

He crossed his arms. "What would your mother say."

I shrugged again. "She'd probably get mad at me…then speak before the senate about it…then quite possibly rage war on the Jedi order, but not admit to herself wanting to rage war because she doesn't do that."

He smiled. "You know your mother rather well."

I rolled my eyes as the doctor finished stitching my arm. "She gets on my nerves sometimes."

I stood up from my seat and the two of us walked out of the medical bay.

"When are we going to interrogate Poggle?" I questioned as we walked down a long corridor in the temple.

He sighed. "They are interrogating Poggle now, however only members of the High Council are allowed down there to assist during the interrogation."

I turned my head to look at him as we continue to walk. "So why aren't you with the other member of the Council?"

He turned to me. "I wanted to make sure you were alright."

I turned back to look straight ahead, and I rolled my eyes. "I'm flattered."

We both came to a stop at another corridor which led the holding cells.

"This shouldn't take long…if Poggle gives up the information we want." He explained before beginning to walk down the corridor.

"If you need someone to bring torture methods to the table, you know who to call." I called after him, but he didn't answer, and I didn't expect him to, after all, the Jedi weren't that fond of torture methods.

During the time I was waiting for Obi-Wan and the rest of the High Council of Idiots, I decided to spend my time exploring the temple. I had already been in the archive before, but I wanted to see what other things this place had to offer. As I began to walk down corridor after corridor, I stumbled upon a large outdoor area, that reminded me of a courtyard. I descended the stairs and stumbled upon a large tree that sat at the foot of it. I was mesmerized by its beauty and in rather shock that of on all planets a tree was growing on Coruscant.

"It's force sensitive." A voice from behind me explained.

I turned around to see Anakin standing at the top of the stairs.

"It is believed to have been originally planted at the temple on Ossus." He explained as he descended the stairs. "But little of that is known to be true. Many use it as meditation resource as it almost allows for a middle ground to be shown."

I turned back to the tree as he came to stand alongside of me. "I would've never thought such beautiful vegetation would be able to grow on a place like Coruscant. I come from a world where no vegetation exists outside of our cities…but according to those who witnessed the Civil War, they said that Mandalore was one of the most beautiful planets in the galaxy…sometimes I wonder if it's true or folklore."

"I grew up similarly, but not with domed cities, I lived on a planet with no vegetation. When I went off world for the first time, I never thought so much green, and blue existed in the entire galaxy." He explained.

"I guess we have more in common than you think" I smiled as I continued to look up at the tree. "You weren't invited to interrogate Poggle?"

He shook his head. "No, only members of the High Council can…I unfortunately am not one of them."

I sighed. "I am concerned about Ahsoka."

He turned to me. "Why?"

I turned to look him in the eyes. "Something just doesn't seem right. I can't explain the feeling I have, but…there's something in my gut telling me that she needs help."

Anakin tilted his head to the side. "Ro, I think you're overreacting."

I shook my head. "Did you act the same way I did just a few days ago?"

He was about to respond, but the coms on his wrist started beeping. He sighed and activated it.

"Skywalker." He answered in annoyance.

"Anakin." Obi-Wan began. "Get Aurora, and meet us in the hanger, we are heading to intercept the Cargo ship Ahsoka and Barriss are on, and to aid Master Windu on Dantooine."

"Will do." Anakin replied as he turned off his coms. He then began to walk up the steps he came down. "Come on, we better get going."

"You go on without me, I'll be there in a minute." I explained.

He shrugged as he continued up the stairs and I turned back to the tree. There was something compelling about it. Something that drew me closer to it. I was getting entranced by it the same way I got entranced by the holocron. It was drawing me closer to it, almost like it wanted me to touch it. I carefully reached my right hand out toward it but then quickly retracted my hand.

I shook my head. "I need more sleep."

I quickly turned around and walked back up the stairs and headed towards the hanger.

Eventually, we all got onto a gunship that took us back to the Resolute. To continue the interrogation, Poggle was brought along with us at the request of the Jedi High Council, though he was being incorporative with them for interrogation…which was annoying. Soon enough we were in hyperspace heading towards the rendezvous point.

"The cargo ship failed to check in on schedule." Luminara explained. "I attempted to contact them, there was no reply."

I glanced to Anakin who was standing right beside me, and he glanced back at me. He was now starting to believe the feeling I got earlier on Coruscant.

"I don't like it." Anakin sighed. "Something's up."

Luminara nodded. "It is most certainly unlike either Padawan to lose contact."

"They're in trouble." I murmured.

"Anakin, Aurora, have faith for once." Obi-Wan began.

"She should've checked in." Anakin explains.

"Like you always do?" Obi-Wan countered.

"Wow." I sarcastically replied. "Touche."

Obi-Wan shook his head. "I don't think either of you realize how alike the three of you have become."

I rolled my eyes. "With all due respect, I am a great influence…unlike Flyboy here."

"Hey!" Anakin protested.

"We need to continue our interrogation on Poggle." Ki-Adi interrupted.

Obi-Wan nodded. "Yes, agreed, he is being most uncooperative."

I crossed my arms in frustration. "Let me interrogate him…if you're not using harsh enough methods, I could always try to."

"Not yet." Obi-Wan explained. "We'll go that route is he continues like this."

Obi-Wan, Luminara, and Ki-Adi then walked off the bridge leaving Anakin, Rex, Fox, and I.

"These Jedi really are frustrating." I murmured to Fox as we began to walk off the bridge.

"They are not use to your methods and morals Princess." Fox explained. "Give them time, and don't feel bad, Skywalker's methods never work with them either."

I nodded. "It appears Anakin and I are more alike than we thought originally."

Fox laughed. "Agreed."

Eventually, I was sitting in my designated quarters looking out at the blue hyperspace tunnel. I was rather bored as I couldn't do anything until the ground assault on Dantooine occurred. I must've been sitting there a while as I went unbothered by anyone for the longest time…until Anakin walked in.

"There you are. I need your help." He explained.

I immediately stood up. "With what?"

He gestured to follow him. "I'll explain on the way."

I walked out of my room and began to walk down the corridors with him.

"What's going on?" I questioned.

"You were right. Ahsoka's in trouble. The Geonosian worms are on the ship and are infiltrating the minds of Clones which are leading the Clones to attack her and Barriss. We need to get Poggle to tell us what the weaknesses of the worms are." He explained.

We came to Poggle's cell door, and I sighed.

"You want me to interrogate Poggle? Don't you?" I questioned.

He nodded. "You don't have to if you don't want to."

I shook my head. "It's fine…I did most of the interrogations with Death Watch…I want to warn you…this could get messy."

He shrugged. "I've probably have seen worse."

I then opened the door to Poggle's cell and walked inside with Anakin right behind me. He closed the doors behind us and Poggle begins to speak in Geonosian. While I speak many languages, Geonosian is unfortunately not one of them, so thankfully the Jedi provided him with a translator droid.

"Who are you?" The droid asked.

"I am Princess Aurora of Mandalore. I understand that my name and my title currently mean nothing to you now, but given time, I'm sure it will." I explain.

Poggle then spoke again.

"What do you want from me?" The droid questioned.

I crossed my arms. "You have information…and I want it…and one way or another, you are going to share it with me. If you try and defy me…or my colleague…I have my ways on getting that information out of you…one way or another...and believe me, I have ways to motivate you."

Poggle then spoke again.

"I will not give information to either of you Jedi." The droid explained.

I said nothing in response but slowly walked over to the other side of the table and stood in front of where Poggle was sitting. I bent down so that I was eye level with him.

"I am no Jedi." I said in a low taunting voice, it was so low that it was almost a whisper. I leaned forward so that I was practically to inches away from his face. "I'm worse."

I then gave Poggle a quick kick that sent him flying across the room. I then activated my taser in my left vambrace and quickly tased him.

"Tell me about the Geonosian worms." I demanded.

Poggle replied breathlessly.

"I will never tell you." The droid began.

I tased him again at a high setting. "Tell me about the worms!" I said more forcefully.

Poggle could barely reply…but he did."

"No." The droid responded.

"Then you'll keep experiencing pain. Until you give us what we want, pain is in your future." Anakin began as he used the force to choke Poggle. He was letting his anger and frustration get to him, which is not what I wanted…however I could understand where he was coming from, he was concerned about Ahsoka.

Within the next few moments, he surrendered to both of us, and gave us the information we wanted to know. Eventually Anakin and I were walking back onto the bridge, which is where the other Jedi, and both of our Clone Captains were.

"I've made contact with Ahsoka." Anakin explains as we walk up to him.

"What's their status?" Obi-Wan questioned.

"Geonosian parasites have infected her crew." Anakin continued.

Obi-Wan frowned. "How did they get on board?"

"Poggle said the parasites must need a new host after we raided the Queen's temple." I explained.

"You two interrogated Poggle?" Luminara questioned.

"Yes." Anakin and I responded at the same time.

"Well," Anakin began. "Ro did more of the interrogating…and manipulating."

I nodded. "He was there for more moral support."

"How did you get Poggle to talk?" Ki-Adi questioned.

"That doesn't really matter…I got the information, didn't I?" I asked and he did nod after a while.

"And he told us how to stop the worms." Anakin explained as he began to contact Ahsoka and her ship.

After contacting Ahsoka and devising a plan in case the medical station got attacked, the Resolute came out of hyperspace and docked at the medical station. Ahsoka's ship was already docked and being unloaded with injured and dead clones, along with Barriss and Ahsoka who were knocked out from the cold. Both Anakin and I decided to it with Ahsoka and Barriss until either of them woke up from their cold inflicted coma which came about because the only way to defeat the worms was to inflict extremely cold temperatures upon them.

"How did you know Ahsoka was in trouble?" Anakin asked me as I sat on the other side of the room waiting for Ahsoka and Barriss asked.

I shrugged. "Ever since I was little I could…feel these things. Like my enhanced hearing…my cousin and I both can feel things. It's weird. I've never told anyone about it…until you…it's like psychic ability I guess."

"Are you force sensitive?" He questioned.

I burst out laughing. "That is the most absurd thing anyone has ever asked me. You're insane for asking me that."

"Ro, I'm serious. Are you force sensitive?" He asked again.

I sighed. "No. There were no Jedi in my family…nor ever in my House or Clan. There was one Mandalorian Jedi ever and his name was Tarre Vizsla…he wielded a special lightsaber called The Darksaber…I've seen it with my own eyes. It's magnificent."

"I've heard stories about it…I thought they were myths." He replied.

I rolled my eyes in amusement as I stood up. "A lot of things in Mandalorian culture are considered myths…I should go, I have to head back to Mandalore before my mother returns."

"You're leaving?" He questioned.

I nodded. "I am a Princess…give Ahsoka my best, will you?"

He nodded. "Of course."

He then pulled me in for a hug, eventually we pulled away from each other and I started to walk out of the medical bay.

"Ro." Anakin called, and I turned around. "Thank you…for everything."

I smiled. "Anytime Flyboy."

I then turned back around and headed back for the hangar. On my way I said goodbye to Fox and told him to give my best regards to the rest of the 252nd and that I will most likely see them in the future. Once I was in my starfighter, along with Geenine, we took off out of the hanger and once we were clear for a hyperspace jump, I began to instruct Geenine where exactly we were going.

"Set course for Concordia…I need to talk to Vizsla." I explained.

Within seconds, the blue tunnel of hyperspace surrounded my ship as the coordinates programmed in it were set for Concordia. Within a few moments, the ship pulled out of hyperspace and Concorida came into view.

"You know where to land Geenine." I explained and she beeped in response as she knew where to land as well.

She landed the ship at one of the landing pads that were in the Death Watch camp.

"Stay with the ship…I won't be staying long." I explained and she beeped in response.

As I began to walk through the camp, I began to get stares from the new members that were recruited. I guess they had never seen me before…and or the fact that their Princess and future ruler was associated with a terrorist organization. I walked into one of the medical tents, as it was full of soldiers that were injured due to an attack that had occurred on Concord Dawn earlier in the week.

"Where is Vizsla?" I asked in frustration.

"Aurora?" Koska Reeves asked as she stood up from her seat. "What are you doing here? You shouldn't have come back."

"Oh, I know. Where's Pre?" I asked in anger.

"He's where he always is." She explained. "Once you talk to him, get the hell out of here…he'll destroy you."

I smirked. "Not if I destroy him first."

I turned on my heel and headed to where Pre was always located…by the holotable. I walked into the tent and not only was Pre there, but so was Bo-Katan.

"Aurora." Bo-Katan said in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

"Aurora," Pre began. "Welcome home., do you have any new intel for us or instructions from the Separatists?"

I frowned in anger. "No…I want you to back off your deal with the Separatists."

He frowned. "Why?"

"It is wrong. They are using you, and they are using me. I will not stand for the wrong side of this war…they are making me slaughter innocent people…families." I explained. "Why would you ever think I stood for something like that?"

His expression darkened, into a more violent one, but I was not terrified at all…not even in the slightest.

"Since when do you care about others? I am the future and rightful ruler of Mandalore…you will do as I say. You have killed many people over the years…why now do you care?" He taunted.

"I am the future and rightful ruler of Mandalore…I may not have the Darksaber, but I will not rule with your extremism. I may agree with allowing Mandalorian's to conquer, but not in such violent extremism where you are killing innocent people." I explained. "I will not stand for any murdering of the innocent."

Pre frowned. "Then consider this your exile."

I smirked as I placed my helmet on the table. "Consider this my resignation…tell Dooku I'm out."

"You can't just walk away…this is your life…your birthright!" Pre began as I walked out of the tent.

I stopped in my tracks and turned around. "My birthright is to rule over people with my mother's pacifistic ideals…I however have more important things to worry about."

"Like what?" Bo-Katan questioned.

"Like Tion'ad hukaat'kama?" I asked with a smirk as I walked out of the tent. What I asked them was 'who's watching your back.' Little did they know that during my last visit to the Jedi Temple, I had stolen a few of their weapons…specifically their hand-grenades.

As I was walking back to my ship, I heard an explosion in the distance. I had placed one underneath my helmet and set it to detonate after I had told Vizsla that I was finished with his nonsense. I would no longer be a pawn in his game…not after the crimes that I had seen the Separatists do. I knew that people would be coming for my head at every angle, as I know too much about both the Separatists and the Death Watch, but I wasn't worried. If anything, they should fear me, more than I should fear them.

"Geenine." As I got back into my ship. "Set course for home."

Geenine happily beeped and the ship took off away from the chaos and away from the terrorists. Finally, I was free of my debts, and finally I could do some good for the galaxy.

Third Person's POV

"And you are saying she 'feels these things?" Windu asked Anakin as he stood before the council.

"Yes." Anakin explained. "This wasn't the first time…her hearing is more active than mine, and it is almost like she can sense things as we can…hence why I believe she is force sensitive…though she doesn't know or doesn't realize it."

"A possibility this is." Yoda began. "Cautious, we must be."

Anakin frowned. "A Mandalorian force sensitive is rare. The last one occurred centuries ago…during the time of the Old Republic…if she truly is one of us…how come she went under the radar for so long?"

Obi-Wan sighed. "Her mother is against war…in order to prevent her daughter from being involved, she quite possibly made it so that Aurora would appear non-force sensitive…though it is quite impossible to do that…at least to our knowledge."

"Are any of her other family members force sensitive or Jedi?" Windu asked.

"No." Obi-Wan answered. "From when I was on Mandalore, they all were originally from Kalevala…the Duchess's father and mother were neither force sensitive. No one on her mother's side are I believe."

"Monitor, this we will." Yoda explained. "In danger, the Princess could be."

Anakin nodded before walking out of the council room. He was met by Ahsoka.

"And?" She asked.

"They're going to monitor the situation…but we are going to take matters into our own hands." Anakin explained.

"How?" Ahsoka questioned.

Anakin smiled. "We're going to find out who the hell Aurora's father was."
