Son Family Home Age 774 Two weeks after Chapter 5
[ 3 Months and 1 Week until the Buu Saga ]
(Arturia's P.O.V)
"Thanks for coming over Bulma.." Chi Chi Says, the Matriach of the Son Family glad to see Bulma coming along as well as bringing some company long with her, that being me, my family and my new student and his daughter.
"Oh don't mention it Chi Chi, you've been quite good to my dear trunks while he was here so it's only fair.." Bulma says in response, Chi Chi is quite delighted to have a ton of company over that is more than her own kids and a family friend's kid.
As for why Hercule and Videl was brought over, there were multiple reasons for this. During Hercule's training, the first two days were pretty slow due to having to coax him through unlocking his Ki and subsequently working through his massively inflated ego.
As for the rest of the remaining time before now, I managed to get Hercule to learn how to fly and use Ki blasts, basic stuff at this point, while also having to deal with his ego. Honestly, he's learned to simmer down a fair bit now, but I hope that in his time in the son family home he may learn something that will finally hammer home the point I'm trying to make.
As for the other reason, I want to Introduce Gohan and Videl early. Simple as that really with no real caveat to it.
"So…I recognize that we have Mr Hercule Satan here, but who are the rest of the girls you brought over Bulma..?" Chi Chi asks, making me deadpan as the entire Pendragon family, minus Fu who's investigating something elsewhere right now, is being looked at with clear looks of curiosity and jealousy over our overly sexualized curves which I am beginning to suspect will be a pattern in the future for many other places we'll go to in the future.
"Oh well you see…." Bulma says before explaining the abridged version of events that took place just about 2 months ago now. At first, Chi Chi is worried that we might be dangerous but reassurances from Bulma calm her down regarding his, looks at us with a hint of pity at having to deal with all of this.
"As for Mr. Satan here, she's actually Arturia's Student now" Bulma says, shocking Gohan, Trunks, and Goten who have been out of the loop along with Chi Chi for quite some time.
"W-well I uuuh….well I wanted to get stronger, so if another monster like cell ever came back, I could beat him like I beat cell Bwahahaaha!" Hercule says, unaware of that slight dark look that comes over Gohan's face as he is now in the same room as the man who effectively stole his claim over killing cell.
"Excuse me mother, I need to step out for a bit for some fresh air.." Gohan says before heading outside, while this does confuse Hercule and Videl, Chi Chi and Bulma share concerned looks with the later merely glancing at me wondering exactly what is my plan here.
"Hey Artoria, do you mind helping the rest of the family settle in, I need to check on something..?" I ask Saber, with us having to have the same name more or less just a single change in the lettering which we agreed to lay the blame on our father for.
"Of course sister, I'm sure Chi Chi as plenty of things we can do to help out while dinner is prepared" At this every Saiyan and Psuedo Saiyan in the room finds their bellies grumbling with comedic timing, making Chi Chi realize she's about to feed ALOT of Saiyans today.
While I leave the now quite lively home, I drag Hercule with me and Kai Kai to where I sense Gohan as gone off to. "Hercule, keep your energy suppressed like we went over yesterday, got it?" I order Hercule, to which seeing the look on my face he nods and does his best to keep is meager power level suppressed.
I go over to Gohan, wearing the bodyguard suit that Bulma had me come along in and he immediately senses my Ki signature, turning around with a rather disgruntled look.
"Can I help you Ms. Pendragon..?" He asks, his own frustrations leaking out through his voice as I briefly see Hercule watching by some rocks nearby. Perfect, this will be a good opportunity to settle some things regarding the two right here and now.
"I'm just wondering where the True winner of the Cell games was going in calm, serene place like this" I say, noticing faintly that Hercule's shock very briefly let his Ki slip, something I'll have to train him better on later, but thankfully Gohan doesn't notice.
"Honestly, I just don't give a crap about claiming the kill like it's some Hunting game, personally I'm glad I don't have that fame…and yet.." Gohan says, his words leading off as he struggles to articulate how exactly he's feeling.
"Is it because perhaps you believe that My Student made light of the struggles back then, by claiming to be the one who defeated cell, trampling over the efforts of your friends, Piccolo, and even your father…?" I ask leadingly, noticing his frustrations getting stronger and stronger the more I speak.
"YES, FOR SOMEONE LIKE HIM TO SAY THAT HE ACTUALLY DID ANYTHING TO STOP THAT MONSTER, FOR WHAT HE DID TO MY FRIENDS, TO ANDROID 16, TO MY FATHER!" Gohan screams out, years of buried feelings of resentment and anger once carefully buried deep have finally come bursting out rapidly, both from seeing Hercule in his own home and my own words trying to draw out these exact feelings.
I can tell that Hercule is quietly listening to all of this, likely starting to realize why I brought him here. I then start going for the metaphorical throat of the current problem, in order to get Gohan to attack me.
"Almost 7 years as far as I am aware, you have let yourself go and now…perhaps Hercule could at one point defeat you and trul–" Is all I get to say before in a rage, Gohan rushes toward me, already changed to Super Saiyan and confirming to Hercule once and for all who exactly I'm about to fight.
I calmly grasp his punch and thrust a knee into his gut, sending him flying into some nearby trees before I rush at him, having yet to transform myself, and soon find Gohan bursting out from where he was before.
Our left Forearms clash before Gohan tries to land a right hook at my face before uppercutting him in the lower jaw and following up by grabbing his right forearm with my left hand and throwing him over my shoulder to the ground, he slams down with his body forming a very small crater.
Moments later I sense his Ki spike as he finally decides to go Super Saiyan 2, Finally making me start to struggle abit but still not enter any Super Saiyan state or even use my Sharingan at all.
As he rushes out of the crater toward me, we clash and begin to trade blows, a kick to the shin is met with an attempted fist to the gut from Gohan, which is soon met with me sidestepping and punching him in the shoulder.
"You let yourself go completely Gohan, sure you're becoming a scholar just like your mother desires, but you're denying yourself your Saiyan heritage, your Father's Heritage at that Son Gohan!" I say, roaring out my words at the end before I enter Super Saiyan myself and slam my right foot in his gut again, sending him hurling into the sky before I soon begin to charge a technique I know Gohan will recognize.
"Kaaaa….meeee…." I Start, this being the very first time I actually decided to use the regular Kamehameha outside of Solo Training. Gohan sees this and just freezes almost as if he's seen someone else in my place, and I think I know exactly who his mind has conjured up.
"Haaaa….meee…" I continue charging the technique with Gohan, as if in a slight trance, finally deciding to also go for his own Kamehameha. Seconds pass as while I have fully charged my technique, I let Gohan do the exact same at his own pace.
Only when we've both charged up our techniques do we both finally let loose the Iconic blue beams. "HA!" Two Opposing blue streams of light appear in the sky as they slam into each other, however, it's clear that my own is winning albeit slowly.
Even as Gohan tries to pour everything he has left into this, it's just barely enough to keep it going. In the end, I decided to end this, finally going Super Saiyan 2 myself and overpowering his beam completely, giving him only moments to dodge before he sees me Kai Kai right up to him and holding a Ki Blade at his throat, both of us floating high about the mountains.
"Make no mistake Son Gohan, your mother's insistence on making you a scholar is her merely hoping to keep you safe but in the end, it's made you deny the side of your family that comes from your father." I say softly, hoping that this fight is hammering in the point that I'm trying to make here.
Gohan for his part looks exhausted, yet relieved because this fight allowed him to finally have a more productive way to deal with the buried feelings of resentment by having someone to properly fight with, even if they were trying to beat some sense into him.
"You're right, I've let myself go…but father said that threats would come for him so.." He says before I pull away the Ki blade and push a single gloved finger to his lips.
"True, but your father forges one thing, that there will always be new threats, and they will target whoever they find, not just him" I say, making Gohan slump as his final argument for not wanting to get back into training is rebuked so easily.
I bring us both back down to the location where we were before when the fight started, with me seeing Hercule paying very close attention. Likely knowing what he may need to do soon.
"Right about now, Bulma is likely finishing convincing your mother to let you resume your training, perhaps even with Vegeta since he did whip me into shape quite quickly.." I say with a soft smile, grinning a bit at the end of my words to which Gohan can only give a bemused chuckle.
"Yea, that he did.." Gohan says, thinking deeply before I suddenly whistle and beckon for Hercule to come over here, with him flying over and looking at a now tense-looking Gohan gazing right at him.
"Listen….I-I just wanna say….I'm sorry ok…" Hercule says, barely able to look Gohan in the eyes and feeling not only rather guilty but rather terrified of how he'll react before he hears Gohan sigh and see that Hercule doesn't exactly seem malicious at all.
"Why did you do it?" Is all Gohan asks Hercule, hoping that he has a damn good reason for why he made such light of everything that happened that day, even unintentionally.
"Well I…..I had hoped that, with the fame, I would ensure that my daughter has a good life, she's all I got left of my dear Miguel.." Hercule says, any hint of his usual boasting ways completely gone as he is confronted with the boy that his lies affected the most.
At this, Gohan's countenance softens as he sighs before turning to me. "Will you do your best to make sure that Mr. Satan can truly be at the level I was back then, can you turn him into the Hero he claims himself to be?" Gohan asks me, to which I merely smile and give him a resolute nod.
"That was always the plan Gohan, but I do hope you will join us in training sometimes..?" I reply, getting a resolute nod before we decide to quickly hunt for some spare food, with Me and Gohan getting Two Oxen while Hercule brings a whole boar which he killed himself with using an imperfectly formed Ki blade. This does surprise me as I didn't yet get around to teaching him that yet, seems he does have some potential, even if it's buried fairly deep right now.
When the three of us fly back to the Son Family home, Chi Chi is there anxiously waiting and seeing Gohan beat up she fusses over him, with Gohan managing to calm her down and soon enough she turns to me.
"Bulma explained everything and..I'll agree to him train again" At this I smile, however she does continue by adding " But he has to keep his grades up while in high school, Am I clear?" She says sternly, making me chuckle.
"Oh don't worry, I'll make damn sure he keeps up with his studies while he's training, don't want him to train his muscles and forget the most important one in his own head" I say with a friendly and slightly jokey tone at the end of my words, which relieves Chi Chi.
Soon enough we bring in the fresh meat to add to the large lunch we're having together. In the end, I do believe today, the Son family house will be quite lively.
(Son Gohan's P.O.V)
Man did that fight really show how weak I've gotten, oh sure I actually enjoy studying and all but after that fight, I really wanna train again, especially now that mom finally will let me do so. So many unusually colored-haired women at home today, it's actually quite nice to see my mom so cheerful at having so many guests over.
I see 's Daughter, Videl was it, talking with those Orange-haired and Lavender-haired Pendragon girls and I remember what Mr. Satan said before. Before today I probably would have tried to avoid her as much as possible, but now after all that's happened perhaps, we could be friends.
I mean we are gonna be going to the same Highschool if I heard Mr. Satan right as we talked over lunch. I think I'll talk with Bulma about an idea I just got regarding some "Extra training".
Perhaps Satan City could use another crime fighter while I study at the school there. I think I'll call myself..
Saiyaman.
Meanwhile Beerus's Planet
(Whis's P.O.V)
"Now now my dear Supreme Kai of Time..I will not have you accost the newest deity of Universe 7 of anything regarding your Time Patrol.." I say looking down with a frown on my face to the rather annoyed-looking Kai.
"Look, I don't want to bring her in or anything like that, this entire timeline is a new natural one anyway so my hands are tied on that front" Chrona, the Supreme Kai of Time says which makes me sigh in relief. However, there is still the matter of exactly why she is here in person.
"So then if you're not here on Time Patron Business then why ARE you here..?" I ask, prompting her to look nervous before twirling her fingers together.
"I…uuuh…Oh I just really wanted to meet Lady Arturia for myself you see, perhaps foster a friendly relationship with the Newest Goddess in the multiverse..?" She says nervously in response, making me ponder for a moment before giving her a friendly smile.
"Very well, I suppose I could even help you by bringing you to her as I do need to visit my soon-to-be student shortly.." I say, making Chrona look extremely excited.
"That's wonderful, I should–" Is all she can say before we're both Interrupted by a third voice.
"Oh hey that's lovely my little Supreme Kai of Time, buuut you should know something first.." The clearly female voice says before the source of it appears.
"F-F-FU?!" Chrona says, clearly he recognizes the White-hairs glasses sporting demoness with some rather impressive curves I must say, and is that one of those rings that the Pendragon family I spy on the ring finger of her right hand..interesting.
"In the very bouncy and beautiful flesh my dear diminutive Supreme Kai of time~" Fu says grinning like a Cheshire cat as Chrona fumes at the shot to her own body.
"What are YOU doing here, and why are you a woman, especially one looking like THAT?!" Chrona shouts, making Fu chuckle and twirl that sword of hers.
"You must have met one of the many, MANY versions of myself across time, probably the usual male variant but then again we did meet in another version so…." Fu's cryptic response puzzles me and Chrona before Chrona simple shakes her head and speaks up again.
"You STILL haven't said exactly why you're here Fu, gonna cause trouble in the timeline again?!" Chrona says, making me frown and wonder what exactly is their history.
"Nope, I've got WAY bigger plans now, I don't need to go into other timelines anymore when I can just go to other entire worlds with my new sister" Fu replies, making me realize that she is indeed a member of the goddess's family now.
"What do you mean sister, you got no more relatives that remain, maybe perhaps Dabura in this time-line but he's not a sister at all" Chrona says, making me finally move to speak up myself saying "Actually, that ring on her finger denotes her as a part of Lady Arturia Morgana Pendragon's family" which makes Chrona freeze realizing that she was antagonizing a member of the new Goddess's family before she reluctantly biting her tongue on this.
"So you won't be altering the timeline anymore Fu..?" She says hesitantly, not exactly sure how to act around Fu right now without potentially causing a rift between her and Lady Arturia, however, Fu merely grins and nods.
"Indeed, why would I want to go about altering timelines anymore when I got entire WORLDS of data at my fingertips when my dear sister is finally ready to enter another world" Fu says, which makes both me and the Supreme Kai of Time curious.
"Whelp, I gotta run, need to head back and see how my dear sister is doing, bye-bye ~!" Fu waves before disappearing in a burst of Instant transmission.
Now isn't this interesting, the prospect of adventuring into other worlds..
This I really need to talk to my new student about, it sounds like quite a lot of fun. As for the Supreme Kai of time, she looks like she's pondering for a moment before slumping over and saying "Well, if she's no longer altering timelines, she might as well no longer be my problem anymore, just the other Fus she's talking about.." before opening a time-portal back to Toki Toki city.
"I'll be back before long, I just need to set things up so work can continue while I'm gone, later Whis!" Chrona says before entering the time portal, it soon closing behind her.
Well now, with everything I've just learned, it's only right I visit my soon-to-be student before long.
I am certain it will be quite an enlightening talk.

Surprise!
I bet you weren't expecting another chapter so soon. I decided to strike while the Iron was still hot from last chapter and spend several hours typing up this new chapter and set up the groundwork with some more original plot lines to occur alongside the Buu Saga Countdown.
Now, let's talk about the Arturia VS Gohan Fight.
I had two objectives in writing this fight.
The first is that I wanted to both knock some sense into him regarding not training for SEVEN WHOLE YEARS, aside from some idle training perhaps of course AND force him to dredge up the buried feelings of what happened in the cell games and how Hercule parading himself as the slayer of cell affects Gohan, even if the boy himself doesn't realize it consciously.
As for Gohan being effectively bodied by Arturia so easily, like I said he's not trained in a long time, getting weaker and perhaps against freshly appeared Arturia he'd be able to defeat her easily, but against an Arturia that's not only been training with Vegeta, but also had plenty of battle experience already?
In this scenario, there is no way Gohan would be able to match Arturia at this point, even with his massive potential. He is just WAY too out of practice to even be able to do all that much, even in Super Saiyan 2. I plan to correct this during his training and hope to better prepare him for the Buu Saga that's slowly approaching.
The second objective is to show Hercule just how small he was in the grand scheme of things watching his new teacher and the true killer of Cell go at it. This was in hopes that this would be the final nail in the coffin for his ego. He's got no cameras, no one to talk to, just him and himself alone seeing it all happen with no one around him to potentially color his thoughts.
As for his apology, I hope it runs well within his character, considering that beyond his bluster and ego, he cares for his daughter most of all. In my eyes it would be for her sake he took up the claim, to ensure she's well taken care of.
And yes, I did have Bulma convince Chi Chi about letting Gohan train properly again, especially since it IS Bulma who'd be able to convince her most. My job was merely to ensure that Gohan had the resolve to do so again as well.
And finally, The Interaction between Whis, Chrona, and Fu. Boy does this open up alot of opportunities as well as potentially being able to get Whis on board with the cover story.
This chapter did mainly focus on DBZ characters this time, so the next chapter will involve a balance of the Pendragon Family proper and DBZ cast members.
