Chapter Two: Into the Liar of the League of Villains
Chapter Summary: Aizawa and Todoroki awaken to find themselves in the hideout of the League of Villains. Meanwhile, the Heroes try to figure out what happened.
The world around him was a blur as he managed to crack open his eyes. His eyelids were heavy. Almost refusing to open. The smells around him were foreign. His instincts tingling and telling him that everything about this was wrong. Shouta blinked the fatigue out of his eyes, being greeted by the very unfamiliar room around him. It was dim in the room. Just enough light that someone would be able to see a bit ahead of them.
His senses were going into overdrive. He jerked his arms, freezing as he realized that he couldn't move them. Reality started to set in as he looked around, his eyes settling on Todoroki. Who was also sitting in a chair not far from him, head hung like he was unconscious. That's when it all came rushing back. The fight. The League of Villains. All for One. It was all there.
His heart was pounding against his chest as he took in his surroundings. He cursed to himself. They had gotten kidnapped. The League had gotten not only him but Todoroki as well. What the hell were they trying to do this time? With Bakugou, they were trying to recruit him to the League of Villains. The attempt was in vain since Shouta knew nothing would stop Bakugou from his drive to be the top hero. Even if his attitude was an odd one for a hero.
What did the League want from them?
Why did they choose to take them?
It was like all the questions were running through the Omega's head. His quirk. That had been his first thought. Ragdoll came to mind. When she was taken, her quirk had been stolen for how useful it was. It was a good quirk. Worse in the hands of a villain. The last thing he needed was for the villains to get their hands on Erasure. He wanted to activate his quirk. Check to make sure that he still had it. If these villains got Erasure, that could be a game changer when it came to everything else. He couldn't allow for this.
Yet, he had still gotten captured.
He had been so thrown off. Worrying about his students. Trying to keep track of the villains. He just couldn't keep his focus on more than one thing, while also protecting himself and Todoroki. This is why he had preferred one on one fights when he was in the Underground circuit. It was easier that way. He could get the job done quickly.
He could see Todoroki stirring, just like him, the realization coming to his face as he pulled at his bindings. He wanted to call out to Todoroki, tell the young Omega to remain calm, but he also didn't want to alert who may ever be nearby that they were in fact awake. Todoroki made eye contact with him, eyes wide and mouth open as he shook his head. Shouta bit the inner part of his cheek, moving his hands in an attempt to see if he could wiggle them out.
He had to get out of here.
With it decided, he went to activate his quirk but was stopped as he heard the drawl of, "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Shouta felt the chill that went down his spine as he heard the approaching footsteps. The Omega swallowed the lump in his throat as he peered over to Todoroki, seeing the confused look on the boy's face. Todoroki was staying relatively calm thankfully. Not risking irrationally. He knew just how hasty Todoroki could be. How quick he could be to snark at someone. He wouldn't say it rivaled Bakugou, but he knew when the anger came that Todoroki wouldn't hold back.
All for One walked forward, kneeling down in front of him. Shouta couldn't see his face just like before. Still secluded behind the mask that he wore. All for One wasn't alone. The rest of the League had came around. Dabi had moved, leaning over the back of the chair that Todoroki was sitting in. The other villains had taken up spots, making themselves comfortable.
Shouta had to bite his lip to keep from snapping. All the instincts flaring in him from seeing what Dabi was doing. How could he let himself, the both of them, get into this situation. He balled his fists, his body tense as he caught the overwhelming pheromones coming from the Alpha villain kneeling beside him. How he was trying to get Shouta to submit to him. Still, he refused.
"I'm going to tell you this once." All for One practically purred. "You both are wearing collars that have the ability to kill you the second you try to use your quirks." Shouta froze. There was a bonechilling shiver that went down his spine. He wouldn't put something like that past this man. Not after everything he heard. The air caught in his throat as he looked over to Todoroki. He hadn't noticed before. Sure enough, he was wearing one. Shouta was so used to having weight on his neck and shoulders that he hadn't even realized that it was there. "It would be best if you don't." All for One stood up, moving around Shouta's chair as he continued on, "Not only will it kill you, but it will also activate young Shouto Todoroki's over here. Killing him in an instant."
Shouta couldn't stop the growl that rumbled in his throat. All for One looked at him, kneeling back in front of him, "What do you want from us?" Shouta questioned, finally taking the moment to speak. "Leave my student alone." He could smell his own pheromones. How threatening they were coming off. Todoroki had relaxed more to it. The tension that he had gain seeping out of him. Shouta was prepared to fight his way out of this. Even if he apparently couldn't use his quirk, it felt like a relief to know that he still had it. He was good at physical combat. Todoroki, on the other hand, still was too reliant on his quirk. If he could just get an opening, they could get away. Even if he couldn't get them both out, he could maybe buy enough time that Todoroki could escape. That's all he cared about. Todoroki's safety.
Though, he knew that the heroes had to know they were gone by now, and they would be immediately starting rescue efforts. He wanted to curse up a storm. This was going to be yet another thing that hit U.A. How bad that this would look. It wasn't the school's fault that these villains had such a hard on for All Might and attacking them.
All for One was cackling now, standing back up, "You see, how do we keep the great Eraserhead… someone who could fight an entire group of villains on his own and stay standing… in line?" All for One was taunting him, and Shouta knew what was about to come from him, but he hated every single second of it. "We use one of his precious students."
Shouta's nails were biting into his palms as he jerked his arms. The Alpha leader leaned down, placing his hands on either side of Shouta's shoulders, his masked face getting almost too close to the Omega for comfort. There was no comfort in this situation. Shouta leaned back almost instinctively to get away from him. He had no where to go, but this would do.
"What do we want?" Shigaraki purred, as he reached up and took the hand from his face showing off the smirk on his cracked lips. "We want the both of you." There was a smirk on his face. A gleam in his eye that radiated a sort of twisted happiness with the situation.
"That won't work. You really think we would join you?" Shouta hissed. He sent a glance to Todoroki, trying to silently reassure him. To let him know that he was the one to do the talking. Todoroki understood, nodding as Dabi toyed with his hair. Seeing the action had Shouta surging forward. He didn't really get much further than before as All for One's hands landed on his shoulder and forced him back against the seat. "Don't touch me." Shouta shot to the villain immediately.
All for One was chuckling. Shaking his head. "You really are a feisty one." Shouta was prepared to bite any part of him that he could reach. This was the man that All Might was prepared to end his career for. Shouta couldn't stop the shiver that had gone down his spine, recoiling as he felt the hand coming up to graze his face, attempting to curl into his hair. "The fiesty ones typically are the—"
"Leave him alone!" Todoroki snapped.
Shouta inwardly sighed, letting his eyes flutter shut for a second. Though with Todoroki's outburst, the villain did pull away from him, chuckling as Shouta opened his eyes again. "I heard your bark is just as bad as your bite. How true can that be?" All for One questioned, turning his attention to Todoroki for the moment. He sighed, getting back to his full height. "This is going to get interesting really quick."
Well, that answered their question.
Shouta had been the target.
Shouta hated what was about to come next. They clearly wanted them alive if they were being truthful about the reason that Todoroki was here.
He had fallen right into their trap and never even realized it.
All for One was chuckling again, sitting down in a chair that faced the both of them, crossing one leg over the other as he cocked his head to the side and settled his chin on his closed fist. "You really are so blissfully unaware. Soon enough, you'll agree with us. It's not a matter of if. It's a matter of when you break."
X
It had been hours since the incident. It was becoming clearer by the passing second that they weren't going to luck out and Aizawa and Todoroki had just been separated from them. Tsukauchi and the police had arrived on the scene while many of the pro heroes on the site had to keep Endeavor from going off the rails.
The students had refused to leave. No matter was said to them. Many of them hadn't even moved from where they were. Bakugou and Midoriya more specifically. It was like the both of them were frozen. Midoriya hadn't been able to utter a word since, looking down at his hands in a mixture of shame and guilt.
All Might had been doing his best to try and remain calm. There was nothing he could do to calm these kids. To qualm the fears that they had.
Tsukauchi had made his way over alongside Hawks. This movement had brought even Endeavor over to them. All Might had never seen so much panic and worry on Endeavor's face before. He normally always had a scowl on his face. One that All Might had started to think was actually permanent at one point.
Tsukauchi's face had said it all as he held a tablet hooked in his arm. "We were able to pull feed from two different cameras, but we have a pretty clear idea of what happened." The Alpha Detective stated. His statements had the complete attention of the students now as he turned enough to settle the tablet where he could show it to the others. All Might peered over at Endeavor for a moment, seeing the dark look in his eyes as he practically appeared like he was ready to burn a hole in the tablet.
"So, what exactly did you learn?" Endeavor hissed.
"Endeavor, please." All Might started but was cut off as Endeavor turned to him. His pheromones shooting out through the air that had the Number One Hero freezing.
"Where were you?! Mister Symbol of Peace?! You were here and two of them managed to get snatched!" Endeavor snapped. "One of them was my son."
"Endeavor!" Hawks exclaimed, keeping the gentle tone to his voice as he raised his hands. Endeavor looked to him, eyeing him for a second. "Please, just watch the video. It will explain it all."
Tsukauchi gave him a sympathetic look as he clicked play on the video. "They might not have known the cameras were nearby in this area, but we caught everything." He clicked open the video and it had appeared to be clipped down to just before All Might had departed from them. "It took a moment, but you all were being watched." He paused the video as they came into frame as he pointed towards the nearby alley way. "There is just a glimpse of him, but he's there."
"That bastard." Bakugou growled.
Within the video, it was hard to see him, but Dabi was leaning back against the alley wall, watching the movements of the students with a phone in hand. "I've rewatched this video multiple times already. I believe I know what he was up too." He clicked the video again, and almost on intervals, Dabi would peer over at them and look back down at his phone. He was secluded enough from them within the video that they had never even noticed him, but just enough in the line of the camera that they knew it was Dabi. "It's strange watching this back since the League of Villains have made it known that they are after All Might."
Within the video, Aizawa and All Might were speaking to each other for a moment before All Might was walking away and Aizawa had turned to face his class. At the same time, the warp gate started to open behind Aizawa, just enough to pull his attention away from the class. The Omega teacher reaching up to slide his goggles into place. Just as this happened, Dabi looked at his phone again, thumb moving across the screen before he was dropping it into his pocket. After another few minutes passed on the video, which Tsukauchi had sped it up, that's when Dabi moved. Moving out of his hiding spot, arm looping around Todoroki's shoulders just as he sent out a blast of his flames. Bakugou had screamed out, even though they couldn't hear him say anything from the video lacking audio. It had caught Aizawa's attention before he was jumping back, quirk activated and disappeared behind the flames alongside Dabi and Todoroki.
Tsukauchi clicked out of the video, turning it back towards him as he tapped away on the screen. "He waited for All Might to… leave?" Yaoyorozu whispered.
"Detective Tsukauchi is right." Shinsou grumbled, "It's odd that he waited for All Might to leave before he made a move. All Might was right there. They could have acted. They completely caught us off guard again."
All Might knew that these kids were feeling a different range of emotions, but he could also see the hero in training masks slipping onto their faces. Everything that Aizawa had been training them for, they were putting it to use. "So, All Might wasn't the target." Bakugou hissed.
"I don't believe so." Tsukauchi added, turning the tablet back around. "All of you are aware of what happened during your own fights against the League, so I'll skip showing you that. This is what happened on the other side with Aizawa and Todoroki. This held the most information." He clicked play, letting it play through. Showing how Aizawa had been faced with a decision. The panic that came out as they saw Shigaraki just seconds away from touching Aizawa's face with his hand.
All Might gritted his teeth as he watched it. Though, there was something odd about Aizawa's behavior. He kept watching the playback, trying to figure out what exactly had Aizawa distracted so much.
He only looked up from the feeling that eyes were on him to see that Hawks was looking at him with a tilt on his head. "You noticed it too."
"Why isn't he fighting back?" Uraraka questioned.
"He's keeping them back." Midoriya stated, "I saw him at the USJ… it could be that he can't keep an eye on both Shigaraki and Dabi without the risk that one of them would go after Todoroki."
"We have our licenses now… we could defend ourselves." Ashido whispered.
"Think about, ribbit." Asui started, walking forward a couple of steps, "He had fought Shigaraki before, and I noticed something… Kurogiri never actually showed up."
Tsukauchi hummed. Bakugou set off a few small explosions in his palm as he growled. "They know that we can beat him."
"If I was sensei… I would have been concerned about Kurogiri too." Midoriya stated, bringing eyes to him. "He's their escape route, and he had warped us all in the USJ. He can be probably the biggest issue to do deal with. He's not easy to defeat unless you know where his weak point is."
Afterwards, Tsukauchi continued with the video footage. The realization dawning on the students as they watched it. It only worked to anger All Might that much more. Endeavor wasn't fairing much better than he was.
As the feed approached the end, All Might's stomach fell as he saw All for One come into the frame through a warp gate at the top of Todoroki's ice. Sitting there and watching them for a moment before he was acting. The startled sounds came from the young aspiring heroes. Aizawa went to react, but as he did so, All for One made his move. No one could utter a sound as they watched the playback, seeing Aizawa being knocked unconscious just by a hand to the face. All Might could hear the mutters of Aizawa's name behind him. The unconscious Aizawa had fallen forward, directly into the Alpha villain with the warp gate threatening to pull them in. Though, the panic started to set next as they watched All for One and Todoroki.
Since there was no audio, they couldn't hear what was being said. Todoroki's left hand was covered in his fire, but suddenly, he had stopped much to the dismay of his classmates. All for One had done exactly what he had done to Aizawa. Reaching forward and using his hand to make the Omega teenager fall unconscious. They all watched as All for One reached into their pockets, pulling out their phones and tossing them to the side. Though as they moved into the warp gate, he took the extra second to rip off the chain from around Aizawa's neck and toss it on the phones before they were completely through the gate, and it was sealed behind them.
It was an unfortunate reality. None of them wanted to face it. This wasn't just some trick that Aizawa and Todoroki would resurface and come back from being separated from them.
Endeavor was growling again, his nails clawing at the sleeves of his hero costume. "A rescue team needs to be organized immediately." The Flame Hero hissed. "There is no time to waste."
All Might felt the lump in his throat. While he agreed with Endeavor, they had a major issue. After Kamino Ward, the League of Villains had practically fallen off the map. They didn't have a clue where they had gone. Just like with Bakugou, they had to do this carefully. The League would know they would look for an immediate way to find them. It meant even more of a chance that the League was going to disappear now more than ever. They had to be extremely careful with what they did within the next few hours.
"Why didn't Todoroki attack him?!" Uraraka exclaimed. "I know it's that guy… but he had a chance."
"No, he didn't." Bakugou hissed. Bringing the attention to him. All Might watched him for a second, seeing the way that Bakugou kept his eyes on Todoroki. Bakugou and Todoroki had done extra classes together. They had been spending more time together than before. He also understood this situation more than anyone aside from probably Midoriya.
"What are you—" Kaminari started.
Bakugou snarled for a second. "Whatever that bastard told him is why he stopped. Icyhot was absolutely ready to blast that fucker in the face. He stopped because of Aizawa-sensei. Sensei was in the way. If he attacked, he would hit Aizawa. It was the same thing that happened earlier in that fight with the roles reversed. It's how it was easy. Heroes prioritize the lives of others over their own."
The others understood. All Might could say that. Bakugou had hit the nail right into the coffin with that. Both Aizawa and Todoroki acted in ways to protect the life of the other. Even if in the end, they were both captured. All Might hated it, but it was what they had to work with. There was a reason that both of them were taken. All Might could feel it. It was hard to tell who the specific target had been from how they witnessed the abduction in the video. At any given time, one or the another was getting targeted. Neither really had much wiggle room to work without jeopardizing the other.
On one hand: Shouta Aizawa had an incredibly valuable quirk. No matter what anyone thought about him or his abilities. It would definitely be something that All for One would steal in an instant. It made All Might even more angry. There was a high possibility that when they found Aizawa, he would be quirkless. All Might would be more surprised if he wasn't. The fact he didn't even want to think about was the fact that Aizawa was an Omega. Sure, Aizawa's exterior didn't show the "traits" of an Omega, but as soon as someone started to pull apart his personality and actions, the more clear it would become by watching him. He was everything an Omega was always meant to be. It had taken years for the world to believe it. Strong. Caring. Passionate. Didn't fit into what some would believe was a social norm. Nurturing and protective. There were so many traits in there that he could point out that showed all the true qualities within someone with the secondary gender.
On the other, Shouto Todoroki was the son of the Number Two Hero, Endeavor. Second only to All Might on the Hero Billboard Chart. Todoroki had came in Second Place at the Sports Festival. Interning and now doing a work study underneath his Alpha father. He was powerful in his own right. A quirk that worked well together. The perfect combination. He was like Aizawa, he was also an Omega. For many, Omegas were appealing for their instincts. No matter what someone was like, instincts always found a way to reveal themselves. No matter what anyone did.
There were so many possibilities going through his head in that moment. What All for One wanted from them. Who they were truly targeting. They lacked so much information. They couldn't be prepared for what they would find without knowing the intentions behind their kidnapping. He couldn't speak for all the League of Villains members, but he knew All for One. That man was willing to do anything to get what he wanted.
Bakugou had been left up to Tomura Shigaraki. Who All Might had found out was his Master's grandchild during their last altercation. That was even more proof just how far All for One was willing to go to get what he wanted done. In Bakugou's case, they were trying to recruit him. Thankfully, nothing happened in his time with the League, but he also didn't meet All for One until Kamino. All for One never would have had the chance at that point to do anything.
This was different. He actually came with the League for this one. Which meant, this wasn't Shigaraki's full orders. It was All for One's. That man would only show himself if he had something to gain from it. With no information, his best guess was probably Aizawa's quirk. It seemed like the most plausible reasoning behind all of this.
When I see an appealing quirk, I can't help but take it.
All Might had no doubt that Aizawa had already lost his quirk by now. Todoroki, he couldn't tell, but his quirk was powerful, but would it interest All for One enough to take it?
Though, he supposed, the real question would be why both of them? Was it to throw them off? Why risk taking not only a U.A. Teacher and Pro Hero but also another student after failing to achieve what they wanted with Bakugou?
The more he thought about it, the angrier he became.
It felt like he had the answer right in front of him, but he just wasn't seeing it. There was something there and he knew it. No matter what he looked at on those recordings. Looked at Aizawa and Todoroki's belongings. Nothing was clicking.
So, he started from the top. Was it because they were Omegas? That didn't feel right. They didn't go after Bakugou for that. They went after him because of his behavior. Todoroki being Endeavor's son? That also felt wrong because of the Training Camp. Todoroki had been on the kill list apparently. Quirks? Definitely a high possibility. Recruitment? Seemed unlikely. He didn't know much about young Todoroki, but he appeared to be just like Bakugou. Doing everything to be a Hero and being unable to be swayed from that path. Aizawa has always made it clear that he was a Hero through and through. Throwing himself headfirst into the fray against an overwhelming number of villains to protect his students. Quirks only seemed like the best option in this scenario.
Other than U.A., what was the connection to why those two specifically?
No matter who the true target was, All for One took the time to take them both. That meant he had something to gain from both of them.
What he could be confident about was believing that Aizawa was most likely the main target. He couldn't explain Todoroki's kidnapping, but it was all he had to go on right now.
He wasn't even able to say anything to the others before he could hear the rapidly approaching footsteps, the wave of protective and angry pheromones that washed over him. He sighed, biting down on his lip.
Mic.
He looked over, seeing as Mic rushed up with the frantic look in his eyes. Like he was hoping to Aizawa standing there. The anger from the situation. He knew that Tsukauchi had the call. He couldn't imagine what Mic must be feeling in that moment. His demeanor was much like Endeavor's in that moment. Both of them had lost someone in this abduction. Mic lost his husband, and Endeavor lost his son.
For the first time since they met, All Might was greeted by pure silence. Mic wasn't uttering a word. His mouth barely moving like he was trying to say something. His hands shaking from the anger that he was undoubtedly feeling.
All Might reached out, placing his hand on Mic's shoulder, "I'm so sorry, Mic-kun. Aizawa-kun has been taken by the League of Villains." He had practically jumped as Mic whirled around, his fist slamming into the wall that All Might had been standing by. His knuckles breaking open in almost an instant.
"What happened?" He had hissed it out. His voice going deeper for a moment that even sent a chill down All Might's spine. He had only seen Mic this angry once, and it had been within the aftermath of the USJ. When he had seen him pass by to get to the students. The first thing Mic would have seen at the USJ was Aizawa. His broken and battered body. Though, before they could explain it, he added, "Why is it always him?!"
There was so much anger radiating off of Mic that even the students were backing off a bit. The only one who managed to really step in close to him was All Might. "Mic-kun, I promise you, we will find him."
Mic shook his head, a distant look in his eye, "I can't lose him too, All Might." Despite that strong, angry demeanor he had, the second that All Might laid his hand on Mic's shoulder. The younger Alpha broke down, the tears spilling out of his eyes as he covered his mouth. "Why can't they just leave U.A. alone?!"

One thing that Aizawa did not understand was one particular thing. He still had his quirk. At least, according to All for One he did. It didn't make any sense to why. His quirk could easily turn the tide in a battle. Despite everything he had ever heard in his life about it, he would gain praises from heroes with his application his quirk.
Shouta bit down on his lip as he could hear the shackles being released from the chair, even though his hands weren't free. He could catch All for One telling the other League members to do as they pleased, that he would be back.
They were going to try and break them. Whatever that meant. His guess was exactly what they seemed to be referring to. That it was them they wanted. Shouta most definitely. That would never happen. Shouta would never align himself with villains. All he ever wanted to be was a hero. He went through one obstacle after another to get here, and he wasn't about to let it go.
He wanted to try and find an escape, but these collars they were wearing, the more he thought about it, it could be possible that they were even created to keep them within a building or a certain area. He had seen technology like it before. It was not something to try and fail with. He had to think about this from all ends.
The League had taken him. His hand-to-hand combat was exceptional. He had trained and trained for years to get to where he was. Todoroki, while not the best at physical combat, was still an incredible fighter. They had two of the strongest quirks of the class here. Just if they could get the collars off, that would be the best for them. All for One had shown the abilities to be able to manipulate someone's brain, or at least the resources too if the Nomu had anything to say about that.
This was an incredibly sticky situation. One that had to be handled delicately. There were so many puzzle pieces missing that he didn't even know where to begin. Did he pretend to cave and listen to their demands? Wait for a better opportunity? Or strike as soon as he could and risk death?
Nothing seemed like a good answer.
What he could guarantee was the heroes. They would be working on rescue efforts immediately. Despite the initial fight not going out in the way he would have hoped, it gave him something to work on.
His shoulders were screaming at him as he hauled from his chair. Todoroki was screaming his name, Dabi's hand landing on his shoulder and shushing him in a sarcastic tone. His legs had grown numb from the position that they had been in, for who knows how long at this point, that he had lost his balance and went crashing to the ground. His body felt weak now that he was able to move a bit better.
His best judgement, he had been given some sort of muscle relaxer or something. His body didn't want to move properly.
He didn't even register that his cuffs had been moved from behind his back and to the front before it had already happened. All for One was chuckling, kneeling down beside him. Fingers tracing over his hair. He jerked, moving back, letting his hand swat at the villain's. Uncaring of what he might actually do.
To his surprise, All for One didn't do anything. Instead, he said, "Sorry, you got hair in your eyes." He stated. He couldn't tell if he was actually being honest or not. Sure, his hair had moved into his face, but it was the half-assed apology he wasn't sure about. "Figured you might want to be able to see. Since it's what you rely on anyway."
Shouta had to keep control of his tongue as he sent a glare to the villain. All for One shrugged, standing up after a moment back to his full height. He hissed as a fist full of his hair was grabbed, ripping him off of the ground. He was partially thankful for the ability to use his hands as he used them to stabilize himself.
"Aizawa-sensei!" Todoroki screamed, jerking in his chair again.
He sent a look over to his student, hoping to try and reassure him despite their situation. All for One jerked his head up, forcing him to his feet as Shouta muttered out, "It's alright, Todoroki."
"How about we just go ahead and start phase one of the plans?" All for One questioned. "Why don't you make our other guest comfortable?"
Shouta's heart was pounding against his chest as he was jerked backwards by his hair. Being forced to follow along as he walked away. He could hear Todoroki screaming for him again, but there was nothing he could do now.
They were at the hands of the League of Villains, and all they could do was sit tight and wait.
The door was closed behind them, leaving Shouta to the mercy of whatever All for One could possibly think of doing.
X
Todoroki wasn't even sure what to feel in that moment. He knew that he was in fact feeling fear as he watched Aizawa get dragged out of the room by his hair. He could stay cool and collected if he needed too, but the feeling of watching his teacher being dragged away for god knows what to happened to him was an entirely different feeling.
He never meant for this to happen. He kept having the thought come to mind that there should have been something that he had done back then. During that fight that might have changed the course of action.
Now, he was left alone with the entirety of the League of Villains. All of them looking at him with varying degrees of amusement. Dabi was the one who stuck the closest to him. Keeping a hand planted on his shoulder to urge him to stay in place.
He had heard what that man had said. What could happen if both of them reacted. How could Todoroki allow for himself to be put into this situation?
He wanted to be able to work to get the both of them out of here, but he wasn't even sure where to begin. Aizawa kept trying to keep him calm. Reassure him that everything would be okay. What was he supposed to do here?
There was nothing he could do. He knew it. They were stuck in this situation. He peered around him again, watching the League members. They hadn't done a thing to try and react to him. Try and act like they were actually trying to hurt him. It was heart pounding. Especially knowing they were so close to the villain named All for One. A man that had Todoroki even quivering in his boots. Todoroki had never felt that kind of fear before. What he could sum things down to was sitting back and listening to what they had to say. All these villains were dangerous, but nothing compared to All for One. That he knew. Just from being in the presence.
"Just remember, you gotta make this easy on your teacher now." Shigaraki purred. "Wouldn't want to slip up."
They were being completely honest with him. That he could take as a fact. They were able to not only split off Todoroki and Aizawa from the others, but also keep them on edge enough that they couldn't fight to their fullest. Todoroki had been afraid of hitting nearby civilians. This wasn't like a test or when he was paired with Yaoyorozu. He couldn't have just gone full out like he wanted too.
And it didn't end well for them.
Kurogiri had been their true downfall. He didn't once see the actual body of Kurogiri, and the villains made sure of it. It could have been possible that Kurogiri hadn't even been there the entire time. He couldn't know.
Shigaraki walked forward, kneeling down in front of him with the detached hand taken off of his face. A gentle smile that Todoroki had no idea that would be possible came to his face.
"Why don't we talk about something?"
Todoroki could only stare straight at him.
The heroes have to be coming. They just have to be.
Author's Note: Alright, so if you are an ao3 reader, you have seen the All Might is Aizawa's Father tag, would that be something that interests you to actually take place in this fic? I'm on the fence about it now. Let me know down below! Anyway, see you next time!
