Volume 5:

Chapter 19: Reven-Lations

The heroes of the Resistance make their way to the snow-dusted planet of Kijimi to execute their plan to discover what secrets the Dagger held. After landing in Kijimi City, the Resistance team goes through the streets, seeing multiple Scouts…. Being fought off by civilians?!

One-One exclaimed, "what's going on around here!?"

HK-50 said, "theorizing statement: citizen's of the New Republic are fighting back against the First Order troops."

"That's good news at least", Ani whispered.

One-One asked, "First Order? New Republic?"

Ani said, "basically replacements of the Old Republic and Sith Empire."

One-One asked, "huh?"

"Lola, BB-8, you fill in One-One with what has happened in the last few decades", Ani said.

Lola beeped as she plugged a wire into One-One.

One-One went still as Lola sent in the information to them.

As they continue on, Poe says, "alright, I know what we should do."

C3-P0 said, "so do I. We should leave."

Padme muttered, "ever the coward."

Eda said, "clam it, Threepio."

Poe said, "follow me. Alright. Let's head down this way."

But as soon as Poe finished that a blaster was aimed at his head.

Standing there with a blaster was a woman in a skin tight red outfit and gold mask.

"Heard you were spotted at Monk's Gate. Thought, 'he's not stupid enough to come back here'", the woman said.

Poe said, "oh, you'd be surprised."

Collin muttered, "Force knows I ain't."

Padme asked, "Poe, who's this?"

Finn, "what's going on?"

Eda asked, "and where did she get that cool mask?"

Poe said, "guys, this is Zorii Bliss. Zorii, this is Rey, Collin, Ani, Padme, Eda, Finn, HK-50, Lola, One-One and Threepio."

Finn said, "great, she knows all of our names. Makes it easier to know who she shoots."

"I could pull this trigger right now", Zorii said.

Poe said, "I've seen you do worse."

Zorii growled, "for a lot less."

Eda said, "I like this chick."

Collim said, "now is not the time, Aunt Eda."

Poe asked, "can we just, uh…. Talk about this?"

Zorii said, "I wanna see your brains in the snow."

Eda asked, "can she get any better?"

Poe said, "so you're still mad? Zorii, we could use your help. We gotta crack this droid's head open and fast."

C3-P0 yelled, "pardon me!"

Ani said, "he's kidding Threepio. At least I hope so."

"We're trying to find Babu Frik", Poe said.

Zorii said, "Babu? Babu only works with the crew. That's not you anymore."

Rey asked, "what crew?"

"Oh, funny he never mentioned it. Your friend's old job was running spice", Zorii said.

Finn asked, "you were a spice runner?"

Poe said, "you were a Scout."

Ani asked, "you were a spice runner?"

Poe said, "you're a Jedi."

Eda asked, "you were a spice runner?"

Poe said, "you're a Nightsister."

Collin asked, "you were a spice runner?"

Poe said, "you're a Jedi too."

HK-50 said, "query: you were a spice runner?"

Poe said, "you're an assassin droid."

One-One asked, "you were a spice runner?"

Poe said, "you belonged to Revan."

one-one asked, "you were a spice runner?"

Poe said, "y9u belonged to Bastilla Shan."

Rey asked, "were you a spice runner?"

Poe said, "were you a scavenger? We could do this all night."

"You don't have all night. You know, I'm still digging out of the hole you put me in when you left to join the Resistance", Zorii said.

Zorii spotted Ani, Finn and Rey.

She said, "you. You're the one they're looking for. Bounty for her just might cover us. Djak'kankah!"

Poe said, "don't djak'kankah."

Zorii's allies surround the group and begin fighting.

Rey, Ani and Finn fight back!

Rey is able to get the upper hand against Zorii, sending her to the ground.

Rey then activates her lightsaber and points it at Zorii's face.

Rey said, "we could really use your help. Please."

Zorii said, "not that you care…. But I think you're okay."

"I care", Rey said.

After earning her respect, Zorii begins leading the others to her group's hideout.

Finn joked, "Poe Dameron, spice runner. Runner of spice."

Poe groaned, "alright."

Finn said, "get your spice!

Eda said, "former-trooper says what?"

Finn asked, "what?"

Eda laughed, "ha!"

"Come on Threepio", Ani said.

C3-P0 said, "oh."

Zorii said, "Babu's in the back."

The crew walked through a cantina filled with strange aliens and creatures.

Eda muttered, "some things never change."

C3-P0 said, "don't mind us."

….

As Threepio is having his memory unlocked, he says, "I haven't the faintest idea why I agreed to this. I must be malfunctioning. I must be malfunctioning."

We see an adorable little alien, Babu Frik, working on Threepio.

Rey said, "Babu Frik? Can you help us with this?"

Babu Frik then speaks an alien language.

Collin asked, "Zorii? Is this gonna work?"

Ani said, "please say yes?"

Zorii and Babu Frik converse in an alien language.

Zorii said, "he says he's found something in your droid's forbidden memory bank. Words, translated from Sith."

Rey said, "that's it."

Finn said, "yeah, that's what we need."

Eda said, "good work."

Zorii asked, "who are you hanging out with that speaks Sith?"

Collin said, "I think it's best if you don't know."

Poe asked, "can you make him…. Babu, can you make him translate it?"

Zorri and Babu Frik converse again.

Zorii translates, "yes. But it will cause a complete..."

C3-P0 said, "a complete memory wipe."

Poe asked, "wait, wait, wait. We make him translate it…. He won't remember…. Anything?"

Zorii said, "not unless you have his memory backed up."

"Artoo has a backup of Threepio's memories", Ani said.

C3-P0 said, "oh, please. Artoo's storage units are famously unreliable."

Padme said, "never underestimate a droid. The hard part is completing our mission so we can give you back your memories."

Zorii said, "still, we gotta erase his memories to do this."

Babu said, "droid, memory go blank."

C3-P0 said, "oh!"

Babu said, "blank, blank."

C3-P0 said, "there must be some other way."

Rey said, "you know the odds better than any of us. Do we have a choice?"

"If this mission fails…. It was all for nothing. All we've done…. All this time"; C3-P0 said.

C-3PO is looking at them all before his memory gets wiped.

Poe asked, "what are you doing there, Threepio?"

"Taking one last look, sir…. At my friends", C3-P0 said.

The others all gave somber looks.

C3-P0 continued to say, "I have been on many adventures. My adventures Artoo and I had in the Clone Wars. Countless missions with Master Luke, Master Sam, Master Alastor, Captain Solo, Princess Leia, General Calrissian, Mistress Eda, and many others. And I have lost so many of those names. So I look at my friends I've made over many years. In case I do not regain these memories."

Ani said, "I promise Threepio, we'll make sure you remember us."

C3-P0 gives an unsure nod.

"All this is making me wanna cry", One-One exclaimed.

"This is very sad….", one-one said.

Then something is heard outside.

"Uh oh", Babu said.

"Night raids are going to start soon. I'll keep a lookout", Zorii said.

Poe said, "I'm coming with you."

Zorii scoffs and asks, "you still don't trust me, huh?"

Poe asked, "did you ever trust me?"

Zorii sajd, "nope."

Babu laughs as the two of them leave.

….

Back on the Star Destroyer….

Kylo said, "report, General Pryde."

Pryde said, "there's been a development, sir. The Knights of Ren have tracked the scavenger."

Griss said, "to a settlement called Kijimi."

Phasma asked, "that snowball?"

Hux asked, "shall we destroy the city, Supreme-?"

Rey raises his finger, silencing the General.

Kylo Ren then walks away.

Hux growls under his breath.

Hux then quickly went into a room to be by himself.

He had been in a bad mood ever since the death of Malakis.

And since Kylo Ren became the leader of the First Order.

It reminded him of when he was a young commander in the Empire.

He always hoped and tried to find a way to impress the Emperor.

But Skywalker always got in the way….

….

Flashbacks.

Hux was in Emperor Vader's office.

Vader had his mask on, as per usual.

"Your majesty", Hux said.

Vader said, "at ease…. Hugs?"

"It's Hux", Hux said.

Vader said, "my apologies. Now, what is it you want?"

"Well my lord…. I want to show something I have been working hard on and I think it will….", Hux said but then someone cut him off.

"DADDY!"

Vader turned to see Sam running to him.

Vader then knelt down and picked up his son.

"Hello my baby boy", Vader said softly.

"Daddy, I made something for you", Sam said as he showed his father a wood carving he made with the help of Lilith.

Vader said, "oh, I love it. Reminds me of the one I gave to your mother."

Sam smiled and hugged his father.

Hux sat there awkwardly.

This would be the first in many moments of Hux getting his chances ruined by Sam...

This included….

Hux at a meeting, trying to get Vader's attention, but the emperor left as soon as he heard Sam was in the medbay.

The time Hux tried to show off his new Scout armor designs…. But he was busy watching Sam learn to read.

The time Hux tried to show off his new ideas for weapons for the scouts…. But Vader was busy taking Sam for ice cream.

Though Hux insisted on getting Vader's attention.

While Hux was trying to get the Emperor's attention, Sam was sitting beside a tree eating his ice cream cone.

He licked it happily.

Walking nearby were three scouts, and one of them was feeling hungry.

"Man, I am hungry", Scout 2 said.

"You just ate already man", Scout 3 said.

Scout 2 then spotted Sam and his ice cream.

"Oh boy", Scout 2 said as he ran over.

Scout 3 muttered, "oh no…."

Scout 2 then took Sam's ice cream cone and ate it in a flash!

Sam went wide-eyed and then began to cry.

Sam screamed out as he kept crying, "DAAADDDDYYYYYYYYY!"

Scout 3 quickly ran off in fear.

As did Scout 1.

Scout 2 gave a confused look.

Sam was thrashing on the ground and still crying.

Then…. A rumbling was heard….

Scout 3 looked around in fear.

"Oh kriff, I'm outta here", a man who was nearby said as he ran off.

The Scout was utterly confused.

That was until he turned around…. And saw Emperor Vader running towards him!

He whispered, "oh kriff…."

Vader was running so fast, smoke appeared behind him and the ground rumbled with every single step he made as he ran towards the scout.

He was obviously pissed off.

"WHO DARE MAKES MY BABY BOY CRY…. I'LL FRY YOUR ASS", Vader roared.

The Scout gulped in fear.

Sam kept crying and wailing as he pointed to the scout and cried out, "HE STOLE MY ICE CREAM CONE AND ATE IT, DADDY!"

Vader turned to the Scout and growled at him.

The Scout was shaking in fear.

Vader stalked towards them.

The Scout wanted to so badly run…. But he couldn't move.

Vader grabbed him by the collar of his uniform.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't know that was your child, Lord Vader", the scout said in fear.

Vader growled, "no excuses…."

As Vader's fist slowly raised…. He said to the Scout, very slowly, these words.

"If there is one thing, I told the galaxy that they should remember very clearly…. I'll say it again…. No-one, and I mean no-one, never, ever dare to hurt my son or make him cry…."

Vader's fist then came forward and hit the scout so hard, the scout was sent flying into the sky! Sam gasped in shock.

He thought his father would only scold the scout…. Not sent the scout flying into the sky!

That was terrifying!

Vader walked over to his son and picked him up.

He didn't notice the scared look Sam had.

"It's okay, Sam…. Daddy is here…. Let's go get you another ice cream cone…. This time I will be by your side to make sure no one steals it from you", Vader said.

Sam could only nod.

Hux had witnessed the whole thing.

It had managed to scare him as well.

And he was mad that Skywalker once again ruined his chance to talk to Anakin….

Every single time!

But he couldn't do anything about it or else he would suffer Vader's wrath.

And because of Sam, the moment to speak to Vader about all of his ideas never came….

….

Back to the present….

Hux growled under his breath, one way or another he would get his revenge on Sam Skywalker!

….

Meanwhile….

Babu Frik mutters as he works.

"I just had the idea. There's something else we could try", C3-P0 said.

C3-P0 powers down before he can say anything.

Babu mutters to himself as he continues working on Threepio.

Distant explosions are heard.

….

We see Poe and Zorii sitting on top of the building.

Poe asked, "how long's it been like this?"

"The First Order took most of the kids a long time ago. Can't stand the cries anymore. I've saved up enough to get out. I'm going to the Colonies", Zorii said.

Poe asked, "how? All those hyperlanes are blocked."

Zorii showed him a small medallion.

Poe said, "that's the First Order Captain's medallion. I've never seen a real one."

Zorii said, "free passage through any blockade. Landing privileges, any vessel."

The part of Zorii's mask that covers her eyes disappears, revealing three eyes looking at Poe.

Zorii asked, "wanna come with me?"

"I can't walk out on this war. Not till it's over", Poe said.

Zorii, "hey, remember; they win by making you think you're alone. Remember? There's more of us."

...

Back inside, Rey and Padme put oil on One-One's tiny leg joints, fixing the squeak in them.

"Oh thank you, Thank you", One-One said.

"At least that's one problem fixed", one-one said.

"He is a very adorable droid", Padme said.

Rey nodded but then said, "something's not right about all of this."

Finn said, "hmmmm?"

Eda asked, "what do you mean?"

Rey said, "I know where I've seen it. The ship he was on. Ochi's ship."

Padme asked, "what?"

Collin asked, "really?"

Rey said, "the day my parents left. They were on that ship."

Ani asked, "are you sure?"

Rey gives a nod.

Ani and Finn feel something. Like they're so close to learning what happened to Rey's parents, and why they left her on Jakku.

The door then opens.

"There's an incoming Destroyer", Zorii said.

Poe said, "we gotta go now. Did we get it? Babu?"

Babu said, "ayep, droid is ready!"

He activates Threepio, his eyes red as he speaks in a monotone voice, "the Emperor's wayfinder is in a Temple. At Delta 3-6, Transient 9-3-6, Bearing 3-2…. On a moon in the Endor system. From the southern shore. Only this blade tells. Only this blade tells."

C3-P0 powers down.

Babu yells in victory, "hehaaaa!"

Finn said, "the Endor system. Where the last war ended?"

Eda said, "things seem to come full circle."

More rumbling is heard.

"Ren's destroyer", Rey said.

Poe asked, "he's here?"

Eda said, "oh great."

Rey senses something.

So do Ani, Finn and Collin.

Rey said, "Chewie?"

Collin said, "Rose?"

Ani said, "King?"

Eda asked, "what about them?"

Rey said, "they're on Ren's ship!"

"We have to save them", Ani said.

Padme asked, "but how?"

Finn said, "I dunno how, but we gotta go get them!"

Ani saif, "don't have to tell us twice!"

Zorii asked, "your friends are on that sky trash?"

Poe said, "I guess they are."

C3-P0's eyes return to normal after his memory is wiped.

C3-P0 asked, "might I introduce myself? I am C-3PO, Human Cyborg Relations. And you are?"

Poe said, "okay, that's gonna be a problem."

Eda said, "we'll get Artoo to fix it later."

Babu said, "hello. I Babu Frik."

C3-P0 said, "why, hello!"

….

We see the group running

Poe yelled, "Threepio, move your metal ass. We're almost there."

C3-P0 exclaimed, "how dare you! We've only just met!"

"Poe. This might get you on a capital ship. Go help your friend", Zorii said.

As she says this, she gives Poe the medallion.

Poe said, "Zorii, I don't think I can take this."

Zorii said, "I don't care what you think."

"We have to go. Come with us", Poe said.

Zorii said, "Poe…."

Poe said, "if I weren't taken, I'd ask for a kiss."

Zorii let out a laugh and she said, "go."

And thus our heroes head back to Ochi's ship, eager to save their friends….

….

Our heroes are back on the ship, piloting towards the Steadfast, using the medallion to get on.

Poe zaid, "medallion's good. Clear for entrance into Hangar 12."

Rey said, "hang on, Chewie, King and Rose. We're coming."

Finn said, "no-one gets left behind."

C3-P0 said, "whoever this Chewie person is, this is madness!"

Eda said, "even with a memory wipe, he's still the same whiny wussy."

"Some things never change", Ani said.

….

Once they make it onto the ship, two Scouts approach

One said, "credentials and manifest."

Both troopers are blasted by Rey and Finn.

A female trooper yells, "close the blast doors!"

She gets shot as she yells.

Rey turns to C3-P0, HK-50, Terrance, Lola, BB-8 and One-One.

Rey said, "you six stay here."

"Happily", C3-P0 said.

HK-50 said, "aggravated mumble: this kriffing sucks."

Poe asked, "which way?"

Finn said, "uh, no idea. Follow me."

The doors before them open, and two Scouts point their guns at the crew.

Scout 1 said, "drop your weapons!"

Rey uses a Jedi Mind Trick.

She said, "it's okay that we're here."

They lower their weapons.

Scout 1 said, "it's okay that you're here."

Scout 2 said, "it's good."

Ani said, "you're relieved that we're here."

Scout 1 said, "thank goodness you're here."

Scout 2 said, "welcome, guys."

Finn said, "you will forget you ever saw us."

Scout 1 said, "we'll forget we ever saw you."

Scout 2 said, "who were we talking to again?"

Collin said, "move along."

Scout 1 said, "move along."

Scout 2 said, "I'm gonna get some macaroni and cheese…."

Come on", Ani said as the group ran again.

"The cameras", Finn said.

They shoot the cameras so no-one spots them.

Eda said, "they said King, Rose and Chewie's this way. Rey, come on."

Rey said, "the dagger is on this ship. We need it."

Poe asked, "why?"

Rey said, "a feeling."

Ani said, "me and Finn will go with Rey. The rest of you go find the others."

Eda said, "you got it."

Finn said, "we'll meet you back at the hangar."

Collin said, "Rey, you can't just..."

Poe said, "Chewie, King and Rose."

And with that, the two groups split off.

….

Back on Kijimi….

We see the Scouts searching for our heroes.

Kylo and his knights are searching the city as well.

Kylo said, "search the city again. They're close."

….

Back on the ship….

Poe and his group then come across a room and they go inside.

Inside are Chewie, Rose and King!

Chewie groans.

Poe said, "Chewie!"

King said, "Eda!"

Eda said, "King!"

Rose said, "Collin!"

Collin said, "Rose!"

Padme yelled, "donkey!"

"That phrase again? It never gets old", Rose said.

King jumped into Eda's arms as Collin ran to Rose and took her into his arms.

Rose hugged Collin close.

Poe said, "escape now, hug later."

Chewie grunts at Poe.

Eda said, "of course we came for you guys."

Chewie grunts as Poe.

Poe said, "yeah, Rey, Ani and Finn are here. They're gonna get the dagger."

Rose said, "it's always something with those three."

Alarms begin blaring.

Collin yelled, "Kriff!"

….

Back in the hangar bay…..

Enric Pryde arrives and finds two scouts dead near Ochi's ship.

Enric Pryde asked, "whose ship is this?"

….

Collin said, "the ship's this way. Follow me."

As they try to make their way back to their ship, a female Scout spots them and yells, "over there!"

Collin uses his saber to slice them in two.

Collin yelled, "wrong way!"

Eda exclaimed, "ya think?!"

Poe said, "there's not really a right way, is there?"

"I found them", another Scout shouted.

But Poe then shoots the scout.

Chewie grunts as the crew exchange fire, with Collin using her his to deflect any bolts sent his way.

A Scout yells, "over there! There they are. Get them!"

The firefight continues as they run.

Poe asked, "we close?"

Collin said, "straight ahead."

Rose yelled, "I hope you're right!"

As Poe entered a hallway, he was shot in the shoulder!

Padme yelled, "Poe!"

Eda shouted, "damnit!"

Poe groans as Rose and Padme help him.

King asked, "are you okay?"

They hear footsteps approaching.

Poe said, "nope."

The group is surrounded by Scout reinforcements.

"Hands up", one Scout shouted.

"Put your weapons down", another Scout shouted.

Yet another one yells, "drop them now!"

Reluctantly, our heroes put their weapons down.

Poe said, "hey, fellas."

Another Scout says, "shut up, scum."

Chewie laughs, despite the situation.

….

Rey, Ani and Finn enter Ren's chambers, their hands ready to grab their sabers.

"He's not here", Ani whispered.

Rey finds the dagger on a desk.

Finn finds Chewie and Rose's weapons, and straps them to his back.

Rey picks the dagger up, and hears voices.

Her own younger voice.

And her mother's!

"No", Rey said.

Finn asked, "Rey, are you okay?"

Kylo suddenly contacts Ani, Rey and Finn through their force bond.

Kylo said, "Rey. Ani. Finn."

The three Jedi saw Ren there, but not his surroundings.

Kylo said, "wherever you are…. You are hard to find."

"You're hard to get rid of", Rey said.

Kylo said, "I pushed you in the desert, because I needed to see it. I needed you to see it. Who you are. I know the rest of your story. Rey."

Rey turns and lights up her lightsaber.

Ani and Finn both light up their own weapons.

Rey speaks quietly, "you're lying."

Kylo said, "I never lied to you. Your parents were no one. They chose to be. To keep you safe, given your heritage…."

"Don't", Rey shouted.

Ani said, "I'd heed her words. Her powers have doubled since last we met."

Kylo said, "twice the pride, and double the fall. You remember more than you say. I've been in your head."

Ani and Finn shared a look.

They knew Rey had been left at a young age, but had she simply blocked out the painful memories?

Rey yelled, "I don't want this!"

"Search your memories", Kylo said.

Rey yelled, "no!"

Ani exclaimed, "leave her be Ben!"

Rey activates her double bladed saber and attacks Kylo with them, but he stops her.

Finn and Ani get ready to jump in.

Kylo said, "remember them. See them."

Rey sees a vision, as clear as day in front of her.

….

We see a young Rey being held in her mother's arms.

"My love. Rey, be brave", Rey's mother said.

Her father said, "you'll be safe here. I promise. They would come for you if they knew of you."

Rey exclaimed, "come back! No!"

….

Rey grunts in anger as Ren continues.

Kylo said, "they sold you to protect you."

"Stop Talking", Rey growled.

Kylo said, "Rey, I know what happened to them."

Rey continues trying to strike at Ren.

Finn yelled, "Rey, stop!"

….

The others are taken prisoner.

A Scout said, "move it! Allegiant General, the scavenger, Ani Skywalker and the traitor are not with them."

Pryde said, "take them away."

Hux watched all this with a smirk on his face.

….

Kylo said, "tell me where you are. You don't know the whole story. It was Belos who had your parents taken. He was looking for you. But they wouldn't say where you were. So he gave the order."

….

Ochi approaches Rey's parents.

Rey's mom said, "she's not on Jakku. She's gone."

Ochi stabs Rey's father before moving onto her mother.

Rey's mother yelled, "no!"

….

Rey yelled, "no!"

The battle escalates when Rey is knocked down, and Finn jumps in. He and Ren strike down the table with Vader's helmet on it, sending it to the ground.

Ren sees this.

"So that's where you are", Ren said.

He's discovered that Rey, Finn and Ani are on his Star Destroyer!

Kylo said, "you know why the Emperor's always wanted you dead."

Rey said, "no."

Kylo said, "I'll tell you more."

Kylo breaks their vision bond.

Ani helps Rey up from the ground as they quickly make their way out of the room.

….

Kylo ordered over his comms, "they were in my quarters. Lock down the ship."

….

A firing squad have Poe and the others ready for execution.

Rose whispered, "what were you going to tell me Collin?"

Poe said, "just tell her, man. You've been putting it off since before the mission with the spy!"

Chewie groans.

Collin said, "yeah. Sort of is a bad time, Poe."

Poe said, "well, 'cause later doesn't really look like an option. If you're gonna get something off your chest, maybe now's not the worst time to!"

Collin said, "fine, Rose?"

Rose asked, "yeah?"

Collin said, "I was gonna propose."

Rose was awestruck.

Collin said, "if we had lived through this mission…. What would you have said?"

Rose said, "... yes."

Collin and Rose gave tear filled smiles.

That's when they hear a blaster going off!

The group then turned around and saw who fired the shots…. It was HK-50!

HK-50 said, "tired statement: I was tired of waiting on the ship. Prideful statement: you're welcome for the rescue, Meatbags."

"That's my droid", Collin said.

….

A Scout is asking the droids, "what's your operation number?"

C3-P0 speaks gibberish.

The Scout said, "that's not even a language."

The Scout is suddenly hit by a laser blast!

Rey being the shooter.

Finn and Ani slice down two more troopers.

C3-P0 yelled, "oh, dear! My first laser battle."

Rey asked, "where are the others?"

"They haven't come back", C3-P0 said.

Lola beeped in a worried tone.

They hear an engine whirring in the distance.

Ani said, "uh oh."

Rey said, "find them. Go."

Finn exclaimed, "and make it fast!"

C3-P0 said, "yes."

One-One yelled, "onward!"

The droids and Terrance run off.

….

BB-8 chirps.

C3-P0 yelled, "oh, yes, there they are!"

The others find the Falcon.

Eda said, "there she is! She's a survivor!"

"Come on, let's go", Poe said.

Padme asked, "what about Rey, Finn and Ani?"

Collin said, "we'll get them after getting on the ship. Come on!"

"Wait for us!"

The group turned to see the droids.

Eda yelled, "everyone, onto the ship!"

Kylo Ren arrives on the Destroyer and faces our three Jedi heroes.

Rey said, "the Emperor came for me. A child. I didn't even know I had a connection to the Force until I met Ani and Finn."

"A strong connection indeed, your connection to the force is so strong and powerful", Kylo said.

Rey growled, "how? Why? How do I have such a strong connection? Answer me!"

"Tell us what you know Kylo Ren", Ani growled.

After a few moments, Kylo said, "Belos wants you…. Because of your lineage…. Who your ancestors were…."

Finn asked, "who?"

Rey asked, "who are you talking about?"

"Revan and Bastila Shan", Kylo Ren said.

Rey gasped in shock, frozen in place.

All the pieces slowly fit together.

Every time she had a vision…. Revan or Bastila Shan were always in it.

One-One's mentioning of how she looked so much like Bastilla.

Her strong connection to both sides of thr force!

When Malakis had mentioned he hoped Rey would be like her ancestor…. Now they knew what he meant!

He was refering to Revan's early days as a sith lord!

Kylo said, "you…. Are a Revan…."

Rey felt her heart stop.

Ani and Finn went wide-eyed as well.

"Revan had a power no other Jedi or Sith had and it's something Belos wanted for himself", Kylo said.

Now it was clear why Belos wanted Rey. She had the power of Revan streaming through her blood!

Ani then got closer to Rey.

As did Finn.

Kylo said, "but it doesn't have to he be that way. We can rule together!"

They all hear the wind whistling as Ren keeps trying to convince them to join him.

Kylo said, "we'll kill him together and take the throne."

Rey breathes raggedly as Ani and Finn hold her hands.

"Never…. We will never join you", Finn growled.

Kylo takes off his helmet, revealing his pleading look.

Kylo said, "you know what you need to do. You know."

He offers his hand to them.

Rey said, "I do."

Then behind the three emerged the Falcon.

Poe yelled, "hold her steady. Collin, Padme, move fast!"

Collin yelled, "come on!"

Padme yelled, "hurry!"

Finn jumped on.

Ani begins running, but turns to Rey.

He yelled, "Rey! Come on!"

Rey runs to Ani, and the two grab Finn and Padme's hands, helping them into the ship as the Falcon quickly speeds away.

Leaving Kylo Ren to glare at the fleeing ship.

….

On the Falcon….

We see the trio hug their friends.

After the hughing ended, Poe said, "I don't know why they're not following us, but I don't trust it."

Chewie grunts a response.

Poe asked, "landing gear's busted? How busted?"

They hear a popping noise.

Eda said, "pretty busted."

Rey sighs as she sits with Ani and Finn.

"All that matters is the wayfinder", Rey said.

Finn said, "that's what we're doing."

Rose said, "things aren't always that simple."

Rey, "he killed my mother. And my father. I'm going to find Belos…. And destroy him."

Everyone looked at Rey with worried expressions.

Ani said, "Rey…. That doesn't sound like you."

"Rey…. We know you", Finn said.

Rey said, "people keep telling me they know me. I'm afraid no one does."

Ani gives a look to the others. They all wander off, leaving the two of them alone.

Ani said, "Rey, look at me."

Rey looked away.

Ani repeated, "look. At. Me."

Rey slowly turned to look at Ani.

Ani said, "I know who you are. Your past doesn't matter. Whether you're a Revan, a Shan, or even a Skywalker or Solo, it doesn't matter. You. Are. Rey."

Rey asked, "and tell me Ani, who is Rey?"

Ani said, "Rey is the woman who saved me and BB-8 on Jakku. Rey is the one who could pilot the Falcon with ease the First time. Rey is the one who's skills with a staff translated to a lightsaber like magic. Rey is the woman who, despite years being alone, she never gave up hope. Rey is the woman who showed true talent with the Force in the days she trained with Luke Skywalker. And Rey is the woman I fell in love with."

After hearing all that, Rey had tears in her eyes.

Rey cried, "Ani…."

Ani said, "Rey, you're the most amazing person I ever met."

Rey smiled with tear filled eyes as she said, "do you know who Ani is?"

Ani was confused for a moment.

Rey smiled softly as she said, "Ani's the mam who saved my life. Ani's the man who gave me hope. Ani's the mam who took me from Jakku. Ani's the man who defended me against Kylo Ren. Ani's the man who helped train me. Ani's the man who never gave up on me. And Ani's the man I love."

Ani smiled softly as he then kissed Rey on the lips.

The two held one another as they kissed.

Lola and One-One watched the two kiss.

One-One said, "awwww…."

"Gross", one-one said.

Lola smacked One-One with one of her feet.

One-One and one-one said, "ow!"

Lola let out what sounded like laughter.

So did BB-8.

Rey and Ani then broke the kiss.

They smiled at one another.

….

Back on the Star Destroyer….

Kylo Ren is speaking to Belos through the force

Belos growled, "the girl still lives. Skywalker's children still live. The Jedi still live! Perhaps you have betrayed me. Do not make me turn my fleet against you."

Kylo sakd, "I know where they are going. She'll never be a Jedi like the man she loves, or any of her allies."

Belos said, "make sure of it. Kill them."

….

We then see the Falcon arrive on Kef Bir.

They had contacted Luke to meet them there, in case things got serious.

Due to its damaged struts, the Falcon has a hard landing, carving up soil.

The crew makes their way through the fields, and see quite a sight.

A gigantic temple!

"Woah it's huge", One-One said.

"It's probably filled with danger", one-one said.

Rey said, "that must be where the Wayfinder is."

"It's going to take us years to find what we're looking for", Poe said.

Ani said, "no it won't. With pretty much every force sensative temple, the object is right in the middle."

"Ani is right", Padme said.

Finn said, "then let's head on down there…."

Eda said, "how about some of us stay here to work on repairs to the Falcon?"

"I think that would be for the best", Ani said.

Rey said, "Ani, Finn, Collin, HK-50, Terrance, One-One, Threepio, Lola, BB-8 and I will meet Luke at the temple. Eda, Padme, Rose, Poe, Chewie and King, you're the most qualified to repair the Falcon."

"Roger that", King said.

"Be careful", Rose said.

"May the force be with you all", Padme said.

The team nodded as they set off for the temple….
