1985

Summary: Chandler and Roxanne are married with 4 kids. And one day, their 11-year-old twin daughters Sara and Ellie ask Roxanne what life was like when she was younger. As Roxanne told them, it reminded Sara of that '1985' song. This is Sara reflecting on her mother's childhood.

A/N: This will be in journal form mostly, some chapters. And also, this is my first story on this site.

Disclaimer: 7th Heaven doesn't belong to me. I also don't own the title or the words to '1985', Bowling For Soup does. I only own: Sara Hampton (11), Ellie Hampton(11), Ron Hampton (9), Julie Hampton (7), Stephanie Martins, and Brandon Martins.

Rated: PG

A/N: Me and my friend Alexa watch this show a lot so she's helping me out with this. Some of you may already know her as Chandler7Roxanne20Fan90Forever on this site. Also, the words from a part of the song will be in some chapters. And in my story, Chandler and Roxanne met when they were kids.

Chapter 1

1-26-2020

Dear Diary,

Ellie and I were asking mom (Roxanne) a question, which was "Mom, what was life like when you were 20 years old?" She answered, "We should start back in 1985, when I was about six." That is when she said, "When your father and I met. We met at my school playground. He was a cousin of my best friend, Stephanie Martins, her brother, Brandon Martins, was my other best friend. Chandler was the one of the nicest boys I have ever met right along with Brandon. We were all great friends."

"What was so nice about Brandon?" I asked my mother.

"I think he liked me. He was always nice to me unless I decided to annoy him by purposely hitting my head on something making him believe I had amnesia so I can ask him stupid questions," Mom explained to me. "It was funny until he slapped me," She started laughing hysterically. Then, before I knew it, it was time to go to bed.

This is how I came to writing this diary entry. Do you remember the part where my mom said quote, unquote: 'We should start back at 1985 when I was about six?' Right then and there I started thinking about that 1985 song by that old band Bowling For Soup. They may be old but that's still one darn good song. Well, I should get to sleep now. Goodnight.

Love, Sara

'Debbie just hit the wall

She never had it all

One Prozac a day

Husband's a CPA

Her dreams went out the door

When she turned twenty four

Only been with one man

What happened to her plan'

A/N: How is it so far? Please review, and remember, this is only my first story so it isn't perfect!
