"Are you sure this is a good idea? They won't remember us! It's no different from asking any other stranger here!"
The man turned back to turn, his hand outstretched to knock on the door. They were huddled under a porch, trying to escape the generous portions of Tokyo soup they were being served. "Well, then, what's the problem?" he said. "If it's no different, than why not start here? At least we know they're good people." The woman sighed, and shook her head, sending droplets of water flying. "I suppose you're right," she conceded. "Of course I'm right!" he said. Just then the door opened, and the man in front of the door turned back around. The others stared fixedly at the door. A man with a thick mustache and long black hair stood framed by the light coming from the house. "May I help you?" he asked.
The man in front of the door shook the mustached man's hand firmly. "Mr. Tendo," said the young man at the door, "I am Lloyd Irving, and these are my friends. May we come in?
