"And stay out, ya stupid purple 'gator," a man shouted as he grabbed me by the back of my collar and threw me out a window. I fell to my doom three stories down to the cement sidewalk, and when I hit the ground, I broke one of my arms.
With two of my other arms, I muttered under my breath, "Dammit! Well, that one was a bust." Still determined, I walked on. I need to find a closet! And when I do, I'll destroy Sullivan for banishing me! I clenched my five fists from just thinking about him.
Suddenly, all my thoughts about Sullivan stopped as I looked up to see a wooden arch with a sign that said, "Welcome to Shadowed Valley". I gave a smirk, hoping I would find a closet door at this rate. As I walked around the town, a teenager boy about thirteen years old with a black mullet, a red plaid shirt, left unbuttoned and with a white shirt underneath, black, baggy jeans, and black shoes stopped me. The boy also has dark brown eyes that look almost black, yellow, crooked teeth, and has pimples all over his face.
"Just where do you think you're going, you giant lizard freak?" The boy then pointed his thumb to the direction behind him. "Shouldn't you be at that stupid Foster's home?"
I grabbed him by the collar and ordered angrily, "Show me this 'Foster's' place!"
I dropped him, and he said shakily, his finger pointing to a green street sign nearby, "I-it's on Harrow Street. Take a right at that sign. It's a huge mansion!"
"Thank you," I said with a malevolent smirk and walked away.
When I reached the mansion, I pushed the iron-barred gates and walked up to the large, red doors. I rung the doorbell, and a moment later, when I raised my fists, about to knock the door, a gray rabbit, about seven feet tall, wearing a black tuxedo and a golden spectacle on his left eye, opened the door.
"Welcome to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends! How may I…" The rabbit stopped due to the fact that he was talking to nobody.
I slithered through the halls with my camouflage on, and nobody saw me. Until an eight foot tall red, humanoid creature with a furry face, white socks with a blue and a white stripe, black tennis shoes, a number "1" on his chest, one arm, and a crooked left eye, tripped his long legs over my back.
Unveiling myself from my perfect disguise, the creature crouched down to my level, his magenta-red eyes staring and asked, "You okay?" I struggled to stand up, but the creature grabbed one of my hands, and helped me up. "I guess you're the new Imaginary Friend here, are you?"
"What do you want to know," I muttered as I walked away and searched from room to room.
