Cherry Blossoms

Asakura Hao's long brown hair whipped in the gentle breeze. His heavy gaze locked on his brother, who was napping under a cherry tree.

Soft pink petals from the tree gentle fell around the sleeping shaman as the setting sun cast a soft glow across his face. A content look on his face.

Hao sighed sadly. Yoh...who once ended his dreams of becoming Shaman King was now so dear to him, perhaps one of his only weaknesses.

'Of course he'd never want to see me,' Hao thought sadly, 'Not after all the pain I put him through...I don't deserve to speak with him.'

Always would Hao be forced to watch Yoh live his life, never being apart of it. But, always dreaming he was.

As fate would have it, Yoh's large brown eyes blinked open and to his amazement, standing mere feet from him was his twin brother.

"Hao?!" Yoh said in a nervous tone as he sat up.

Hao jumped, snapping out of his dream world.

"What are you doing here?" Yoh asked, his guard up as he stood.

Hao continued to stare at him, a sad smile on his face. How could he tell Yoh how much he loved him? More so than a brother, much more.

"Hao?" Yoh said questionably.

"I've come to see you." Hao answered quickly.

"No," Yoh sighed, "I don't want to fight you."

Hao frowned deeply. He expected that, but it still hurt. "I didn't come to fight you. Can't I just come to see my younger brother?" Hao asked, harshness apparent in his voice, but only masking his pain.

"Onii-chan..." Yoh said softly, shocked by the hurt look in Hao's eye. He slowly touched Hao's arm, "What's wrong?"

Hao shook his head, "Nothing." He lied.

Yoh narrowed his eyes, "You're lying, Onii-chan, tell me what's on your mind."

Hao looked away, "You." He said simply, unable to look at Yoh.

Yoh blinked, confused, "What?"

"What I have to say will only make you hate me more." Hao whispered sadly.

Yoh frowned, "I don't hate you."

"For the past four years I couldn't get you off my mind. I'm in pain, Yoh...hurting because of everything I put you through. Hurting because you don't want me in your life." Hao said, his voice choking.

"Hao..." Yoh said in wonderment.

Hao took a deep breath, calming himself, "I envy you." He said with a small chuckle, "You're everything I can never be. You're everything I want. I love you, Yoh."

Yoh blinked, confused by Hao's confession, "I...love you too..." But he was cut off. "No, Yoh, you misunderstand. I'm in love with you." Hao said. His hand gently grabbing Yoh's.

"O-onii-chan...I--" But Yoh was cut off by Hao's lips sealing over his.

Slowly Hao pulled away, grinning upon seeing Yoh's flushed face, "That's how I love you."

Yoh blinked, a bit overwhelmed to say the least, "I don't know what to say..."

"Say you'll give me a chance..." Hao paused, "...us a chance." Hao asked, brushing Yoh's soft cheek.

Yoh bit his lip, unsure if he was about to make the right choice, but he slowly nodded, "Alright..." He said, smiling slightly.

Hao smiled widely as he pulled his brother into a kiss, a more passionate kiss.

After rereading this and rewriting this I have one word to sum this fic up...dude. I, for one, am not a fan of fluffy Hao fics, they honestly scare me. But, I do admit they are fun to write...after I get over the fact of a fluffy!Hao. I personally like the mean sadistic Hao, but that's just me. Hao, honestly thinking -that- much about a relationship, even if it is with Yoh, is kind of freaky. And, I don't think he'd care that much. Me: Forever fan of haoyoh rape fics.
