A/N: This is a short odd Bonanza ficlet that I did. It was for a FFE or a Fan Fiction Exercise if I remember correctly over at a Bonanza board I was once a part of. I did this nearly 3 years ago from what my computer tells me. February 20, 2002. Anyways, I found it and I figured I might as well post it. Enjoy!
A Little Oddness
TV: Next on The Ponderosa, will a visit from John Chisum and his crew from New Mexico ruin Eagle Station? (shots of town folk running and screaming) Will the Cartwrights be able to stop the crisis?
"Hey Hoss, that looks like a real good one," Joe said to his older brother as he stretched out on the settee before placing his feet on the top coffee table.
"Sure does Joe," Hoss said taking a bite out of an oversized sandwich, as he settled down onto the other side of the settee.
"Joseph! Get your feet off the table!" The brother's jumped at the sound of their father's voice. They looked up to see their father making his way down the stairs towards them.
"Sorry Pa," Joe said apologizing weakly to his father
"Hey Pa, you should watch this new episode, it sounds like a real good 'un to us," Hoss told his father between bites of his sandwich.
"All right, Hoss, I'll watch it with you," Ben Cartwright told his middle son, as he made his way into the great room and to his favorite chair.
The opening scenes with Adam brought a question from his youngest son.
"Hey Pa, when's Adam coming home?"
"I don't know son, I don't know."
