As promised here it is! I left you on a very-difficult-to-believe news but read this to find out if that was true! I promise you can count on me. I'm not going to let this story be unfinished. Any way, I wanted to clear somethings to the readers because I myself get confused sometimes.

Remember: This story is slightly made canon (fanfiction based on the existing universe) But in this story Jace is dead (I really don't want to write it down). This plotline is timed after a year and a half of his death. I timed it to happen after Clary and Simon (They both went to Shadowhunter Academy) graduated and before the events of The Lost Book of White.

Clary and Isabelle are eighteen.(Soon to be nineteen)

Simon is nineteen.

Alec is twenty and Max is a cute little two year old.

Nickolas is also twenty.

Jace would've been nineteen.

DISCLAIMER: This Shadow World belongs to Cassandra Clare. I only wrote this fanfiction which I desperately hope you will all like.

Special thanks for the new follows and favorites and reviews! You guys are the BEST!

CHAPTER: 08- Fire and Flower.

A beautiful quote here:

"The moment one gives close attention to anything,

Even a blade of grass,

It becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself."

-Henry Miller.

For the first time in a long time, Clary wasn't ready to wake up from a dream. But she did, when she remembered it.

Was it really him? She hadn't felt this way in a very long time.

She wished it was real.

"For me?"

Clary quipped when entering the kitchen as she saw Alec feeding Max his breakfast. Alec being the mother for everyone all his life, smiled and let Max feed her a bit of his own sandwich, knowing his little blue boy would enjoy it.

"Ah...Someone is chirpy this morning it seems."

Simon commented as he sat down.

Clary rolled her eyes at him, moving her hand to grab his breakfast.

"Hey! That's mine."

"Isn't it too early to complain, parabatai?" Clary smirked.

"I shall save you from starvation, my dear Lord Montgomery," Isabelle announced as she placed a plate and a kiss on Simon's cheek.

"Where's Nick?"

Whatever Simon was going to say was interrupted by Clary's question and voices of laughter from outside.

Clary got her answer when she saw Nick with two girls; one with a short hair and large brown eyes and another girl who was wearing a nice jean and a cardigan? had soft dark blue eyes with Nick's arms around her.

"Hi."

Nick said, sliding his arms to her waist.

"Oh! I was about to tell Clary about new arrivals! Clary, this is Anna, Nick's cute little sister and this is Violet, Nick's girlfriend- she has amazing fashion sense by the way. They arrived this morning through a portal to surprise Nick and I have to say, they did a very good job," Izzy introduced smirking, as Clary sat bewildered.

Girlfriend?

Suddenly, someone squealed, then Clary was folded in a hug, "I'm so happy to finally meet you, Clary."

It was Nick's 'cute' sister, and she was squeezing her too tight in excitement.

"Anna! You are choking her!"

"Oh! I'm so sorry, Clary! I didn't mean to-"

Clary cut her off, "It's okay, Anna."

"It is?"

Clary nodded, still in a bit of daze.

Mornings in Idris was too quiet compared to New York, but New York was the best place for Magnus. Idris has its own advantages. Though Magnus had never liked Idris's people, he loved the land and its beauty, because when the world changed rapidly, Idris still remained the same.

He had asked about the Kingslayers around here and there and visited Nick's parents and sister, who welcomed Magnus like they had seen an angel.

A woman with long black hair sat on a wheel chair who Magnus figured was Nick's mother and a girl about Clary's height was sitting beside her, picking up breakfast plate and helping her mother. When they saw Magnus standing on their open doorway, they, well, they were shell-shocked.

"I would introduce myself, but judging by your faces, I don't think you need one."

Still in their trance, they stared open mouthed.

"Well, if you are not going to speak then there is no use for me here," he said feigning to exit their house.

"Are you really Magnus Bane?" the girl asked.

"I thought you already knew me? Oh forget it. I am the Magnificent Magnus Bane."

"Prove it! Prove that you are Magnus Bane! " The girl screamed at him, holding a knife.

"Listen girl, I don't know what has gotten into your head to ask people if they are themselves but I am Magnus Bane."

"Blue sparks! Show me. Your blue light."

Never in his life Magnus was in an embarrassing position like this. He analyzed the girl's face. She looked frantic, her eyes searching his face- deducting for any change in his behavior. The woman in the chair was still, as if paralyzed. Only her eyes and fingers moved, as if she was expecting something. Something bad. She looked just like the girl, grim and...scared. What exactly happened here?

Any hopes that this was just some poor plan for a prank vanished in his mind.

Magnus twirled his fingers, letting blue flames out.

Next thing he knew, the girl fell into his arms.

After regaining herself, she introduced herself as Anna Kingslayer and then brought Magnus to a closed room that looked like it had not been in use for years.

"Mr. Bane," she started,

"Just Magnus."

'Right. We're in serious trouble. I had never been glad to see someone in my life. Much less I never expected you."

"I thought everyone's dying to see The Magnus Bane."

"I heard you have a good sense of humor, but your timing is horrible. Look, have you seen someone around this manor? A girl with brown hair?''

"I have not spotted a single soul, although I think a squirrel-"

"Oh, thank the Angel," Anna visibly relaxed, "You are friends with Clary Fray, right?"

Magnus, who had not taken anything seriously since he entered the house, perked up at the mention of Clary's name and nodded, "Your brother is in New York."

"My brother?"

"Nickolas Kingslayer."

"But he's dead."

"I met him very much alive today morning."

"He died in the-"

Then a loud band sounded near Magnus's ears, he spun around, but the next hit came then. But before falling in the ground, he thought he saw brown.

Nick tried to slip his hand out of Violet's hold. Not because Clary was eyeing it now and then, but because she was clutching his hands too tightly in her lap as she introduced herself and told stories about them.

Nick had known her all his life. She was his best friend since birth, and then one day, when they were fourteen, they shared their first kiss. Violet and Anna soon became close. They were everything for Nick. He'd been Violet's boyfriend for six years now.

"Nick? Are you okay?" Violet's voice rang in his ears when she finished talking.

Nick's head snapped away from Clary's direction. He hadn't realised he had been staring at her and now they were all looking at him for an answer, "Um, yeah. Yeah. I'm okay."

"You look like you're in a bit of a daze, Nick. Come with me. Show me around this place."

When Violet dragged him out of the hall, he heard his sister say, "She thinks she's so subtle. But its actually gross. They're gonna make out."

He didn't notice Clary wince at the statement.

What the hell, Nick?! Do you think Nick purposely hide the truth of having a girlfriend? Do you think Nick was toying with her? Can Clary take this fact?

Wait. You guys didn't forget about Magnus, do you?! Goodness! What do you think will happen to him? Who do you think attacked him? And what do you think happened with Nick's family?
