Chapter 3: New Home

Tanso Kazuki - Age 16

*Pant pant pant* Heavy breathing could be heard as standing alone in a large room, shirtless and heavily scarred was Tanso. He was damp with blood from the wounds gained while training his quirk. He had told AFO about his quirk growing stronger every time the shell was broken. AFO decided the best way to train was by putting Tanso's life in danger. From guns to explosives, he took everything like a champ and grew stronger because of it.

He wiped some blood away from his mouth and deactivated his quirk as the wounds slowly stitched themselves together.

Another thing about his quirk is that he doesn't heal unless he's safe from danger, so mid combat is a no heal zone. Annoying but with his quirk growing stronger it's not a big deal. The pain from the training was almost unbearable. He'd been shot, set on fire, hit with varying levels of explosives and even crushed under tanks. Black scars of different shapes used his body as a canvas, painting a picture of his resolve. He'd been with AFO for 3 months. He hadn't returned to the orphanage once, the last time he undoubtedly saw him was on the news when he punched Rock'em Sock'em. Apparently he's been considered a missing person, but the people don't seem to care as he regularly goes outside with little disruption.

He fell to a knee, his entire body sore, his muscles screaming in agony. He wanted to stop, but he couldn't. He gritted his teeth and stood back up, he activated his quirk again and prepared for the next assault.

Since he joined, Kurogiri had been teaching him simple school stuff, maths, japanese and the lot. He wasn't the only one there either. Kurogiri also taught Tomura Shigaraki. Shigaraki was sort of like a brother to Tanso. He didn't really like the guy, just had to live with him. Due to his man child personality, he really ticked Tanso off, so he gave him the nickname Shiggy. Shiggy didn't like his nickname and tried on several occasions to disintegrate Tanso. None of his attempts worked. They did however play video games with each other, the only bonding they really got.

The wall opened up revealing the next device to be used on him, a large piledriver. Tanso braced himself, crossing his arms in front of his face. It then activated.

"Ow." Tanso rubbed the new scar on his abdomen. The hot bubble bath is helping the pain and muscles loosen. He laid his head down on the back of the bath and looked to the ceiling. His white skin was quite a contrast to the black scarring. No matter what the wound, it was always black in colour. He washed the blood off his body and just relaxed in the bath for a while, just soaking in its bubbly goodness.

"Hey, Shiggy." Tanso made his way to the rec room of the bar.

"Don't call me that." Growled a blue-haired nineteen year old man child.

"Not your choice." Tanso reached into the fridge and pulled out a can.

"I can kill you."

Tanso simply smirked and sat down on the other side of the couch opposite from Shiggy. He was playing a game on the tv, the latest game made by Fromhardware. "Black hearts, huh? How many controllers you disintegrate?" He asked with genuine interest.

Just as he asked, Shiggy's character died fighting a particularly hard boss. The controller he was just using suddenly turned to disintegrated. "13," he grumbled, pulling out a spare from a drawer.

"Imma order a pizza."

"No pineapple."

"I know I know." Tanso pulled out his new untraceable phone and dialled a local pizza place. Piping hot pizza was soon delivered to the bar and the two began to much down on the italian gourmet. Shiggy played his game while Tanso watched.

The next day Tanso had a driving lesson with Kurogiri. He was learning to ride a motorbike but had to start with a moped, disappointing as he wanted a fast bike but AFO promised that when he passes his test he'll get him a proper bike. That was enough motivation to get him going. He'd be riding around an old factory Kuro had warped him to. Oh yeah, he called Kurogiri Kuro btw. Kuro didn't mind. Kuro was actually a good teacher. He's calm, patient and doesn't yell when he messes up.

He had crashed quite a few times while learning and might have even ran over a few dummies, but in his defence, they were asking for it, giving him that shit eating grin. Points were deducted of course but at least now he's a lot better at missing the dummies, he still crashed though.

After the driving lessons, there were regular lessons. Tanso never did well in school so he was behind in maths and japanese, but then again so was Shiggy. Once again, Kuro was a good teacher, even explaining it differently to help him understand. Getting so much help was new to Tanso, it made him feel inadequate at times but he also enjoyed it. He's been on his own for so long so having the help was really nice for a change.

If there was one thing Tanso excelled at, it was combat. He and Shiggy would be given training revolving around combat. Tanso was always better than Shiggy, between his quirk and his body, he was just better than Shiggy at physical activities. He was self taught since he gained his quirk, all his moves were basic attacks, no fancy stuff. The training helped rectify that and increased his flexibility and agility. He now had a whole arsenal of attacks in his back pocket.

Their opponent was something called a nomu, some sort of experiment AFO was working on. The nomu was unfinished but provided an adequate training partner. The nomu had multiple quirks, each to cover a different style of fighting. Firebreath, Lightninghands, screaming, enhanced strength, you name it, it probably had something like that. The problem was that it was rather weak. Sure the attacks hurt but it couldn't penetrate his new and improved quirk.

Then there was Doctor Kyudai Garaki. Garaki was the one that created the nomu and is extremely loyal to AFO. Under his orders Garaki was to provide any medical services needed to Tanso. They really didn't like each other, during check ups Garaki would make that known. He was creepy and definitely insane. From what Tanso knows of the nomu, they used to be human and became deformed thanks to the experimentation. He found that to be horrific, at least they were all criminals which made it a bit easier to ignore for the sake of his goal.

Once in awhile AFO would call for him. Sometimes it would be for a chat on his training, maybe a private lesson, other times it was just for a talk. Today however was different.

There he stood, in front of his master/boss. AFO sat in his chair, hooked up to his devices as usual. Whenever Tanso appears before him, he gets an almost overwhelming urge to kneel, yet resists it everytime. "Ah, Undefeatable. Glad you could make it." AFO greeted him with a smile.

"'Course I would, I don't like to disappoint." Tanso moved over and sat down in the chair opposite to AFO, with a small coffee table between the two of them. "So, what did ya want to talk about? I heard it was different."

"I believe it is time."

Tanso raised an eyebrow, he hopes he's understanding him correctly. "Time for what exactly?"

AFO reached down to the coffee table and picked up a document. "This here is a list of heroes. Each one of these are false heroes as you call them." Tanso slowly gained a sinister smile. "I want you to hunt down each one of these." AFO passed the document to Tanso who began flipping through the heroes.

The file on each hero was quite expansive. It went through things like patrols, their alias, family and friends, quirk and even allergies. However, something grabbed his attention. Some heroes had a red X next to their picture. "What's with the X on some of these?"

"The ones with the X are not to be killed." Tanso looked back to AFO with slight confusion. "They are to be captured alive."

"What for?"

"A variety of reasons really. Depends on the hero." AFO answered. "Once the hero has been defeated or captured, call Kurogiri, he will take you back." As expected, Kurogiri was practically his taxi.

"I can handle this in any order, correct?" He got a nod from AFO. He continued to flip through the files and then smirked his toothy grin as he landed on a certain hero. "When do I start?"

It was now the middle of the night, Undefeatable's prey usually goes to a bar at this time of night, he also has a habit of getting wasted. Undefeatable was leaning on a telephone pole across from an alley, waiting for his prey. He wore a large trench coat to keep warm and kept his sunglasses on despite it being dark. He stared down at his watch looking at the time and huffed as he's been here for 20 minutes waiting for this prick to show. He then started to hear footsteps and drunken rambling coming from down the street. There he was, the hero he was hunting.

As the man stumbled in front of Undefeatable, Undefeatable sent a boot to his stomach, sending him flying into the alley with a crash. Unfortunately as the hero went flying, he projected a load of bile in a stream. It missed Undefeatable but it wasn't a pretty sight. He stepped around the bile and walked towards the fallen hero who was struggling to stand, from the kick and sudden ejection of his dinner. "Who- who are you?" He stumbled out.

Undefeatable activated his quirk, turning his body black and placing his hands in his pockets. "You don't recognise me? I'm almost offended." He mocked "considering I'm the guy that almost ended your career."

The hero's eyes widened. "You're that brat from the mall!" Rock'em Sock'em, alias Michael Kie, scrambled to his knees.

"Bingo!" He said in feigned energy.

"What do you want? Here to apologise!?" Undefeatable stopped dead in his tracks, looking dumbfounded. "Because if you are, I'll gladly accept. A hero like me needs to b- GAH!" A boot greeted his teeth, causing him to fall on his back and clutch his teeth.

"You really a fucking idiot, y'know." Undefeatable knelt down in front of Kie. His voice turned to a sinister whisper. "I'm here to kill you. I'm an avenger of sorts, for all those you killed for your fame." A fist covered in alley flooring found its way to Undefeatable's face. Kie's eyes widened in shock as he saw an unmoved and unharmed Undefeatable. Undefeatable merely swiped the rock off his head and stood up. "You heroes and your reckless actions." He then stamped his boot onto Michael Kie's head, caving it in. "Like a tomato."

Undefeatable turn around and took out his phone, selecting Kurogiri in his contact. "Jobs done… The alley near the bar he visited… His head's caved in, he's not getting up." Kurogiri hung up and moments later appeared next to Undefeatable.

He inspected the corpse for a pulse and found none. "Well done." He said before turning into his mist gate and allowing Undefeatable to travel through. As he stepped through he was in front of AFO, a pleased smile across his remaining face.

"I assume there weren't any problems." He said, resting his head on his hand and waving Kurogiri off, who nodded and portaled out.

"Glad to know you didn't doubt me." Tanso sauntered over to his boss/mentor/master. "The only real issue I had was a bit of projectile vomiting from Rock'em, if anything it'll just help lead folk to him." He sat in the chair opposite him. "And don't worry about DNA evidence. The only thing that touched him was my boot." AFO looked down at his blood covered boot and the crimson prints it made. "Sorry about the floor by the way."

"It is no matter, It can be cleaned." No matter what Tanso did, AFO never got mad, It creeped him out really. "Now tell me, how did it feel?" AFO questioned him.

Tanso smirked. "Like cleaning the streets of filth. The world is a better place without Michael Kie to poison it." It honestly scared Tanso how good it felt, to feel his skull cave in like that. Sure, the guy was scum but should killing ever feel good?

AFO noticed something was troubling his student. "Is that all?" He asked.

He hesitated to answer his mentor. "I… well…" Tanso twiddled his thumbs before sighing heavily. "Fucks sake." He muttered. "I didn't like how good it felt. For years I've had the ability to kill and easily at that. I've thought about taking lives almost anytime someone pissed me off, yet I never crossed that barrier for fear of what I could become. Though now, I realise that killing these heroes Is all I can do. I'm no politician and people don't find much value in my words for them to stay long enough." By now he had grasped his hands together and was looking at the ground. "I guess I'm just afraid that I'll take it too far one day, hurt an innocent person or something."

The room was dead silent as AFO processed the information he had received. "Kazuki, there is nothing wrong about killing feeling good." Tanso looked at his mentor with a curious gaze. "Humans are natural born predators, and predators kill. For years humans have killed humans for the sake of what they believe in and that predatory instinct gives them the ability to do just that. It's not the killing that feels good anyway, it is the act of being one step closer to your dream." Tanso actually understood that. It always feels good to achieve something so maybe it wasn't so far fetched and that he's worrying for nothing. "Now, go get some rest. Tomorrow is more training." Taking the cue to leave, Tanso stood up and stretched. He'll have to think about it some more later, right now he's exhausted and a comfy bed is waiting for him… He may need a bath first though, wash the blood off.

There yer go! Chapter 3. Bit of a slice of life, tells you how he'll operate for the next year or so. Next chapter will hopefully move on with the story and get a bit more interesting since the origin is done with for now. On with the comments!

A harem is not on the table. I apologise but I can't get behind harems. The yandere Toga will be more of a gag that might turn into a story thing.

Once again I'm happy you're liking my guy. I'm trying to dive into his mind and emotion but I'm not too good at it right now. I'll keep trying to get his thoughts across though. If you have any issues with him let me know, that goes for the rest of you readers too!

That's all the comments. Hope you lot enjoyed!

Luv ya, you hairless apes!
