Shell Shocked

A few fireballs came and crashed down upon the Edge and the group was caught unprepared. Stoick grabbed his axes, and the riders mounted their Dragons. A draconic helmet then formed on Hybrid's head, and he was the first off and the ground cracked as he began closing in on one of the ships.

The hunters swarmed him and loosed arrows the Devil Blade engaged, and Hybrid spun the blade around him, and the hunters watch as either melt from the heat from the Devil Blade or deflect off his armour.

Mitne Sventar with Jupiter's help land heavily onto another ship and then the riders began their counter charge. This was the single most ships the Hunters have every sent but their forces were crumbling every so slowly. Hybrid black flame pattern began to have a hint of violet colour in the jet-black colouring.

The Dreadnought had revealed itself and but was severely suffered in firepower due to a good portion of its weaponry was incapable of hitting a single soul at this range and could only hit one or two ships from the distance.

The tides of the battle were changing slowly then the Beserkers came with a much larger dreadnought with banners hanging from it. Jupiter was quick a struck it with the largest amount of lightning it could.

The Dreadnought rose and Ava felt her heart skip a beat for she recognised the size and decal of the Dreadnought. Hybrid then barked, "Legionary Dreadnought disperse the enemy ships but avoid the large one."

The Legionary Dreadnought rose its left arm and the railgun whirled up, screeching light a larger yet more powerful night fury, then a loud bang could be heard as the water dispersed around the shot and the berserker ship get shoved violently back roughly twenty meters back. The shot struck a ship and caused an eruption of fire and molten metal.

Hybrid then saw Ava's fear of the thing and his power softened as he grasped her hand. He caressed her hair and she respond by tightly hugging Hybrid.

"It's alright, it won't hurt you, I wouldn't let it. It's listens to me now and just like the other Dreadnought it will protect you. It will see you as something that harm shall never come to." Hybrid said softly with soothing tone and felt Ava cease shaking and began to purr.

"Thanks, I really need that and sorry for being that vulnerable." Ava replied with a bit of shame.

Hybrid then said, "No need to be sorry. It pains me to see you scared or sad but being vulnerable gives me something to help with because your vulnerability is what give me strength. It allows me to feel needed and something worth fighting for. As mine would for you."

Ava smiled and tightened her grasp on then says, "How about we end this?"

Hybrid said, "Well, it may only make a thousand words, but a thousand words can tell a lot."

With a smile Hybrid shapeshifts and gestures to his back. Ava nods and mounts Hybrid and with a powerful flap takes off. The duo spots the main ship as it begins to dive, and Hybrid is quick to reach it. Hybrid then says to Ava, "Okay, to get the Helmet just do the exact same thing as shapeshifting." Ava then attempts and successfully does it. Hybrid then tears off the bulkhead forcing the ship back up and Riker exits to see Hybrid and Ava.

Riker then rushes prepared to swing but Hybrid stops him with a parry and a disarm. Riker then says in anger, "I knew we shouldn't have trusted Kivloth he took our gold and left."

Hybrid then says, "Well then, I'm happy to inform you his in Helhelm now."

Riker looked up questioningly and asked, "What happened to him?"

Hybrid then said coldly, "Me."

Ava then uses a spell to destroy the chains causing the dragon to shake off the ship atop of it. Hybrid quickly took out his wings and got Ava off the craft. Riker was fortunate to be outside the ship as it plunged fathoms down. The berserkers then got the man and at the Clubhouse.

Dagur was the first to say, "That was incredible, Hybrid and that Dreadnought we found, it's blast spooked the ocean."

Mala then said, "Hybrid, I happen to have noticed something with your scales."

Hybrid asked, "What do you mean?"

Mala then explained, "Your black scales slightly turned to a bright violet and your red turned slightly white."

Mitne Sventar said, "Strange that has never happened before to any normal Avarkile nor Alpha Avarkile. Perhaps, no it couldn't be true."

Hybrid then asked, "What couldn't be true?"

Mitne Sventar then answered, "My brother who was named Striker, looked into Avarkile mythologies speaking of Avarkile knights. These beings were the aces of combat weather a dog fight in the sky or a ground assault. They were a powerful foe to all who dare to challenge them. They were also the ones who constructed the cosmic weapons. But for some unknown reason they just up and vanished from existence itself like not just disappeared from the multiverse, I mean fully gone like they never actually existed."

Hybrid then said, "Hmm, that's a lot to think on."

Toothless then got both Hiccup and Hybrid's attention and they followed him to his and his rider's hut. Hiccup was the first to ask, "What's wrong bud?"

Toothless with a sigh responds, "I need your help because I think I love Avrita."
