They entered the building and alot of ooo's and aaa's were spoken amongst the teens. Flash scoffs when Peter, Ned, Mj, and Elliot don't show much interest.
"Ugh, look at them, they're pretending they've been here before. Your acts won't fool us, we know you're just as surprised as us!" they all just roll their eyes " Hey don't ignore me that's rude!" Flash storms back to the front.
Penny taps Elliot on the shoulder and a light hint of pink appears on her cheeks.
"You 4 really come here?" She asked, mesmerized by the fancy lobby.
She didn't ask it in a are-you-lying-about-the-internship but in a its-really-cool-you-guys-come-here way if that makes sense.
"Oh yeah I basically live here. I stop by every day after school." Elliot chucked. She hasn't really gotten the opportunity to tell Penelope that she lives at the tower. She'll break the news soon though she just has to know how.
"Yeah, I come by at least 2-3 times a week and sometimes stay overnight" Peter said kind of proudly.
"That's pretty cool I'm happy for you guys" Penny said genuinely smiling.
Penny always has this contagious smile because everyone started smiling.
After a couple minutes, Happy returned with a small box full of patches and a college aged guy.
"Hey guys my name is Craig I'll be your guide for today and tomorrow" he tried to hold back a yawn.
Poor guy was probably running on no sleep and 3 monsters.
"Since I'm head of security, I will be passing out your badges. Listen closely now, you guys only have 1 badge to your names. We do not reprint badges so unless you're in our system and F.R.I.D.A.Y. can you right away. DO NOT LOSE THE BADGE."
Happy was not going to go through his 5th migraine today just cause some highschoolers can do as they are told. She didn't blame him, she's sure he's already dealt with a couple of Karens who can't follow instructions.
"Also make sure the badge is visible at all times. Are we clear?" Happy asked with a raised brow.
"Ok when I say your name you come forward to take your badge. Craig has a box of clamps and lanyards. Take your pick and form a group on your left. When everyone has a badge we will go through security to the elevator."

At that moment Elliot had a realization. Happy doesn't allow badges to be reprinted. Which, by the same logic, means Peter and her need to use their own passes. The thought that should have occurred to her the day the field trip was announced was barely popping up.
She smacks herself in the face. If she told Happy even a day before he could have arranged something. It's too late now.
"What's wrong Elliot, the dread of getting reviled as a frod finally settling in." Flash laughs and walks over to get his badge.
Great it was just Peter and Elliot left without badges standing there awkwardly.
"Ok that's everyone let's go to security, this part is-" Happy gets interrupted by Ms Bernard.
"Mr hogan, Elliot and Peter haven't gotten their badges yet"
"What" Happy looks over to see Peter and Elliot just standing there shuffling around. Flash looked as smug as ever.
"Kids, what are you doing? DON'T tell me you guys forgot your badges." Happy said, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"No we have our badges" they murmured
"Ok then let's go, we can't waste time." Happy said as he signaled them to move it.
This is gonna to suck, they both thought
