Elliot got to the bathroom in one piece. It was one of the single stalled bathrooms so there was no one else. She paced around then decided to splash some water on her red face for a bit.

"Penny just thinks that static is cool"

"You get compliments like that all the time"

"Wait, wasn't she blushing when she said that?"

"Did she mean cute but you heard cool?!"

"No, she for sure said cool"

"Jesus just calm down your crush just thinks your cool"

Sigh "why are you like this?"

she said at the final splash.

Elliot groaned, turned off the water and reached for a paper, then she looked in the mirror to see Nat standing right behind her. She screamed for a second, then reached for her heart, and pressed back against the wall.

"Jesus Nat what are you doing here?!" Her voice cracked at every word making Nat amused. She cleared her throat and started to blush.

"Oh you know, just hearing the dramatic monologue." Nat said with a smirk.

"Oh" Elliot croaked out. "You heard that?" She was just about ready to turn into dust and cease from the world.

"Course I did I was 2 feet away from you." Nat said, crossing her arms. "I didn't think I'd make you scream like that though" she teased

Her mouth opened and closed "Nat when I'm in a single stalled bathroom I don't really expect someone else to be there." Elliot said while grabbing a paper towel to finally dry her face.

"No, you're right, I am the best assassin you've ever known." Nat said giving herself too much credit.

"I never said all that." Elliot said, though it was muffled by the towel.

"How do you feel, after that anyways?" Nat said, gesturing vaguely to Elliot.

"I… I don't even know honestly" Elliot said rubbing the back of her neck.

"Do you… want to talk about it?" Nat asked, sitting on the toilet.

"Are you serious? Is this a trap?" Elliot asked hesitantly. It's a 50 50, Natasha was always open incase you wanted to talk about something but then again… it's Nat.

"Yes I do mean it Elliot. Look, I… I don't know how to explain it exactly but when I help you or Peter solve some problem you guys have, It makes me feel warm inside, like something inside is healing. So yes, any time you think your problem is too small to not be dealt with, it's not, I'm always here." Nat said genuinely.

That made Elliot feel nice, the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, even if it was a bathroom.

"ok." She tried to see where to start. "Obviously, you've noticed that I like this girl. Her name is Penelope and I don't know I just like her a lot, ever since I saw her for the first time. I really want to be with her i really want do but…" elliot took a small break

"You're afraid that since you're a superhero you can't be with someone that way without putting them in danger." Nat asked simpethedicly.

She nodded. "Exactly, plus I'm not even sure if she would be interested in me back anyways. What if I tell her and I ruin our whole friendship. And that's just the start. I really want to tell her everything, I've been friends with her long enough to trust she won't snitch. I want to tell her that I live here and that I'm static. I especially want to tell her my feelings about her. I don't even know what to do first."

"Ok so you like this girl, you don't know if she likes you back and don't want to risk ruining the friendship. You don't want to keep secrets from her anymore but not sure on how to actually reveal them. Not even sure if it's safe to do so." Nat asked in confirmation.

"Yeah that's basically it" Elliot said looking at the floor.

"Ok for starters I think you have a very good chance of her saying yes to being your girlfriend" Elliot was about to deny it but Nat raised her hand.

"Look Elliot, people show their emotions in different ways. You show a lot of emotion in your face. Hence the fact that any little thing can make you blush, your mouth quirks up and down frequently, and your eyebrows move a lot." Nat paused for Elliot to understand.

"From what I've seen Penelope has a lot of body movement. Because you don't show emotion that way you don't really notice the subtle ways her body changes when you're around. Vise versa, she hasn't really noticed your facial reactions." Nat said she saw the gears turn in Elliot's head.

"S-so what does her body language say? Does she like me?" Elliot asked with a flushed face yet showed anticipation.

Nat smiled. "I'm going to be honest, I haven't been around you 2 long enough to give you a solid conclusion, but I'd say you have a very high chance of a positive outcome." She ended with a thumbs up.

"As for your other concern, my advice is to break to her that you live here in the tower full time, then your feelings, and lastly that you're static. Remember don't do it if you're not 100 percent confident, especially not that last one." Nat ended, ruffling Elliot's hair.

"Nat, what if by telling her about all this puts her in danger? What if she gets hurt?" Elliot asked with a hint of fear in her eyes.

"I doubt bad stuff like that will happen. If you're not convinced, look at Mj and Ned. They know about your secret and their fine." Nat said, standing up.

"Look we've been here long enough, you don't want to keep your table waiting do you?" She asked with her hands on her hips.

"No I don't, thank you for this nat I really appreciate the advice." Elliot said while pulling nat in for a light hug.

Nat returned it "Ok, ok now go on, you didn't finish your food and you'll be leaving soon."

"Ok" Elliot said letting go "am I going to see you again today?"

"You might not see me but I'll for sure see you" she said playfully and winked.

"Great" Elliot said sarcastically, yet the smile on her face never faded.

Elliot headed over to the table and sat down way more calm.

"You good, you were gone for like 20 minutes?" Peter asked.

"Oh yea on my way to the bathroom I bumped into Nat." Elliot said with a shrug.

"Nat, like Natasha Romanoff?!" Penny asked, leaning in.

"Yeah," she said, finishing what's left of her food.

Flash came over and snickered . "You really believe that black widow came all the way down to the cafeteria just to talk to Elliot? I swear you guys are more gullible than I thought" he scoffed.

"Can you just leave us alone, Flash?" Ned said, tired of Flash's constant annoyance.

"Yea, I have to go anyways, don't want to be late to my date with scarlet witch" Flash laughed as he walked away.

"He's such a loser anyways I hope I get to see ms romanoff." Penny said looking excited.

"Well hope no longer" Nat said, taking an extra seat from a near table and placing it in between Penny and Elliot.

"Omg, h-hi." Penny looked surprised that Natasha was right behind them.

"Hey Nat," Peter said, with an awkward wave.

"HI Ms Romanoff" Ned said as if he'd never seen her.

Mj just waved and went back to her book.

"Hey guys, how's lunch today?" Nat asked them.

"Oh it was pretty good. Elliot recommended a taco place and it was really good." Penny replied earnestly. It made Elliot's cheeks get a light hint of red.

"You must be Penelope," Nat extended her hand. "As you know, I'm Natasha, it's a pleasure to meet you." She said with a smile.

"I didn't know you knew my name" Penny said, a bit star struck, then shook Nat's hand.

"Well not only am I a super spy, but someone has been telling me a lot about you recently" Nat said a bit teasingly.

Elliots face got completely red and she hid behind her hands. Penny, in return, started fiddling with her hands and looked down.

God didn't know it was gonna be this painful to sit with them. Nat thought, looking at the 2 girls.

"Hey elliot," she finally said. Elliot looked up at Nat still a bit flushed. "Who was that kid who left right before I announced myself?"

"Oh him? He's…." She tried to find the right words.

"He's a kid that I've know since elementary." Peter said not telling the whole truth.

"He kinda doesn't belive Peter and Elliot have a real internship." Ned said reluctantly.

"He teases us about it though we egnore it most of the time." Elliot said with a shrug.

"Does he tease you about it or bully you" Nat asked in a stern voice.

"Well… he can cross the line a bit sometimes" Peter said looking down.

"So in typical Peter language, that means he's bullying you." Nat said starting to stand up.

Elliot grabbed on to her arm "wait nat were are you going?" She asked in a hurry.

"I'm just gonna go have a chat with Eugene." Natasha said with a scarily blank face.

"Nat no, Tony said to not murder anyone with in or 100 miles from the tower anymore." Peter said in desperation.

"Ms romanoff, Flash doesn't bother us, we can handle him, please don't kill him" Ned said trying to calm Nat down.

"You guys are amazing kids, you don't deserve to be bullied. No kind in that matter deserves to be bullied. I will not, under no rule be for-bullying" Nat said looking at them with a sad look.

"We get that Mat but please just don't get involved, it's honestly just light teasing and you may make it into a bigger deal." Elliot said, making Nat sit down.

"Fine, fine I won't get involved but if Eugene steps out of the "Light teasing" line I will make him regret it." Nat said. They let out a breath of relief that flash now has a chance of survival.

"Wait, we never told you his name was Eugene, we've only called him Flash. How did you know his name?" Penny asked, raising the same confusion with the rest.

"Like I said before I'm a super spy, I have eyes everywhere." Nat said, trying to sound mysterious.

"So you've been following us since we got here." Mj said finally looking up from her book.

"Yea basically, between me and Clint we've just been making sure the trip was going well." Nat said kinda proudly.

"Oh Peter and Elliot said they thought you were collecting information about the trip to embarrass them." Ned said in you-had-nothing-to-worry-about tone.

"Oh we were," Nat started and Peter and Elliot snapped their necks towards her.

"That's what we were doing when you guys were in the-history-of-the-tower museum. But then Vision had the bright idea to just ask Pepper for the schedule. It saved a lot of drama." She said, chuckling at Peter and Elliot's reactions.

"Wait so… you guys know what's gonna happen all day?" Peter managed to croak out.

"Yup, and without giving too many spoilers something unusual is going to happen / be announced at the end of the day." Nat said with a smirk and a wink.

They looked pale "like at the end of the day… today?" Elliot asked, dreading even being born.

"Yea" Nat said, getting a real kick out of being at the table.

"Is it gonna be bad?" Peter mumbled a bit.

"I'll let you 2 find that out." Nat said amused. "Well I have to get going, busy making plans and stuff." She said while standing up.

"Wait nat you can't leave with out alaberating, what plans are you making, what's the anounment?!" Peter tried to get out of her.

"Sorry out of ear shot bye" they may not have seen her face but she sounded like she was was grinning from ear to ear.
