Izuku Midoriya: age four; quirk unknown as of late. The young boy was reading a comic book that his mother was able to find for his birthday. The book was about a man who goes around dress as a bat that fights crime, the vigilant had a shortment of other villains that he had to fight on a daily bases, like a clown along with his sidekick; a man who has one side of his face burned off due to accident caused by the vigilant; another was a scarecrow theme villain that show you your deepest fears. Other than that Izuku was always different from the other kids, always reading, drawing characters from the comics he would read or decisions from novels that he would also read, but most of all, he was quiet and had no interest in heroes, heck, not even an interest in All-Might: The number one hero in Japan; The symbol of peace; the strongest hero to ever live in the ninth generation.

Izuku was brought out of his comic book when he heard somebody coming towards him. Izuku looked up and saw a kid around his age; his blonde spikey-explosion hair and red-blood eyes were a dead give away, the boy's name was Katsuki Bakugo. His mother knew Katsuki's mother, Mitsuki Bakugo, for a long time-even before he or her son were born-both mothers' lived in the same neighborhood and when Inko brought Izuku over, Izuku's first reaction was… interesting to say the least. His obsession with wanting to be the best of the best was something to talk about; to Izuku, Katsuki was just some kid with an ego complex, but Izuku had nothing else to do so might as well see where this goes. After the interaction, Izuku would often go over to Bakugo's place to see what he's up to, and was even able to hang out with the rest of his group. Bakugo found Izuku a bit odd to say the least, Izuku has no interest in heroes, doesn't have a favorite hero to root for, nor any posters or toys, just books or drawings that he made in his spare time. To say the least… he was annoyed or better yet angry by this, however the others didn't seem to mind, as they saw Izuku to be more amazing than Bakugo was.

Bakugo made his way towards where Izuku was. Standing in front of white-hair boy, Bakugo could see the confusement written on Izuku's face, "Can I help you, Bakugo?" Izuku said, taking his eyes off of the comic book he was reading. Izuku could see the irritation in Bakugo's eyes, "Yeah. Me and the others are going to head to the forests to go play… Do you want to tag along?" Izuku could tell something was off, Bakugo's voice was on the break of yelling and he could obviously tell that apart. Izuku thought this over, on one hand he wanted to finish this story but on the other…

"Of course; I would love to." He said, putting his book away unaware that Bakugo was twitching his eye from anger.

Izuku along with Bakugo's squad were in front of a gate with the sign saying: Keep out! In red-lettering. "Okay! Let's go kick some bad guys butt!" Said Bakugo as the others yelled except for Izuku who kept quiet.

The group proceeds to enter, Bakugo being the leader while his squad (and Izuku) were in the back being look outs; walking deeper into the forest trees they only saw bugs and birds'. It started to get late but something came to mind, "Bakugo? Are we lost!?" One of the kids said, making Bakugo raise a frustrating brow, "No! We're not lost! Just… just give me a minute!" As Bakugo and the others stood where they were, they didn't notice that Izuku wasn't in the group.

Izuku was off looking around in the forest; admiring the scenery around him. Sometimes all he ever wanted to do is just lay down and just stare at the sky all day. Of course Izuku knew that he needed to get home or else mother would worry about him, however a thought came to mind: how would he get home; how would he get back to the entrance. All of his thoughts were stopped when he heard a call allow Izuku to look up, only to see a reave on top of a branch, looking at the young white-hair boy. Izuku read about reaves along with how to survive and how to find his way back home in case he was ever lost. Izuku stood there and saw that the raven was about to take off; seeing it flying away Izuku thought that the bird was just there just to pass the time. Izuku was about to walk away and find the entrance of the forest until he heard the raven's cries again and then on another branch looking at him.

"Are you… going to help me?" The raven flew to the skies again as Izuku followed behind, keeping his distance so as to not try to fall or get hurt along the way. Ravens are known for helping wolves whenever they are hurting for food or play with the younglings; ravens were also very smart (at least that's what some people think) but Izuku never looked into it. Izuku continued to follow the raven until he was at the gate, and it looks like Izuku was the only one there too. Izuku turned to where the raven was, which was standing on the iron fences looking down on him, "...Um? Thank you." He said.

The raven continued to look at Izuku for a bit longer until it was time for it to leave. Izuku watches the bird leave, taking to the skies, leaving the young white-hair boy alone. Izuku smiled at the raven before turning to where the forest was and seeing that Katsuki, along with his group, were walking through the entrances. Bakugo looked up-tired of trying to find the exit to the forest-meeting Izuku's bright green-emerald eyes.

"Izuku?! How did you get here before us!?" Bakugo yelled, demanding for Izuku to explain how he got there. Izuku looked back around to where the raven was then back at Bakugo's group, "I followed a raven to the exit."

"A raven?"

"Yeah. Raven are able to find their way around in different areas, mostly forests and cold places, but are able to help find food for wolves and will offend play with their cubs."

"Really!?"

Izuku nodded before continuing, "Yeah. But I could have also looked for moss that grew on the other side of a tree." The others were confused on what he was saying, "If you found moss that grows on the north side of the forest, you'll find your way home."

"No way! Really?" Izuku nodded at one of the kids in Bakugo's group, "Man Izuku you're really smart." Another kid said as the others surrounded Izuku, "Really?"

"Yeah, if you were a hero someday people would be looking up to you; imagining the fame you would get, you could be the next All-Might!" The other kids' said, unaware of Bakugo's reaction to the last commit.

"Yeah! You would be a pretty cool hero at that, given how smart you are!"

Izuku looked at the kids in Bakugo's group and gave them a small smile. "Thank you, but, I think I wanted to be somebody else." The others were confused, even Bakugo was, "What do you mean?" Izuku said nothing, only shaking his head, "It doesn't matter. Anyway I'm going home, bye guys." He said walking away, leaving Bakugo and the others behind.

A few minutes later Izuku made it home. His home was a two-story house that consisted of two-bedrooms, two-bathrooms' along with a backyard. When Izuku was still young, he and his mother moved to a new home with more living space, surpassing the place they found was dirt-cheap; along with that his school was close so it was a short walk away. As Izuku entered, he could see his mother in the kitchen cooking something. Izuku recognized what that smell was and grew a small smile, "Mom I'm home."

Izuku's mother turns around and smiles, "Izuku welcome home." She greeted her son, "I wasn't sure if you were going to make it home yet so I started cooking. Sorry." She said embarrassed, "No mom it's fine; it only made sines for you to start cooking right now."

"Well I'm just happy you made it home safe and sound. Anyway I can already tell you were able to figure out what we'll be having, right?"

"Yeah, Katsudon." He said, making Inko giggle with a smile. After setting up the table, along with the dishes, they were ready to eat. A few moments passed by and Izuku was already finished with his food, looking over to his mother, he could see she was calmly eating her meal and Inko could feel his gaze, she looked over locking eyes with her son's, "What's the matter, Izuku?" Izuku knew what he wanted to say but didn't know how to. It took a few seconds for him to come up with a response, "What was Dad like?"

"Huh?"

"I want to know, what was Dad like?" Inko was taken aback by this, this was the first time her son actually wanted to talk about his father, or anything really, but this was different. It took Inko a few minutes to gather her thoughts and to come up with an answer, "Well… Your father was always mysterious when we first met, but he was always a charmer, smart, handsome…" Izuku cringed at the last part but his mother continued, "But he was a good man at heart and he always wanted a family, but never had the time for it-you would imagine when he found out I was pregnant with you though." Izuku laughed at the thought, "For a while we were happy; we were one big happy family… But he had to leave due to his business." She said, catching her breath and letting her son take in the information, "Haha. It's funny. He was always so distant or rude with others but never to me. Haha. I still remember the comment he made when you were born."

"What was it?"

"You reminded him of his younger brother." Izuku was taken aback by the comment but smiled as it meant that his father cared for him. Inko smiled too and getting up from the dinner table and walking over to a drawer that was in the living room, Inko got something out of it and proceeded to walk over to Izuku, "This was taken after you were born." Izuku took the photo from his mother's hands. The photo was taken a few months after he was born. Izuku was being held by his mother while his father was on his mother's side; Izuku spotted the similarities between himself and his father, the both of them had white-hair but his father had blood-red eyes unlike his mother which she had green eyes; He worn a dark-black suit with a white shirt underneath it. Izuku looked back at his mother who smiled, "Your father was a brilliant man who always wanted the best for us, and if he was here, he would be so proud of you." Izuku looked back at the photo one more time and smiled, "Thanks mom."

"Any time Izuku, any time. Now off to bed, it's getting late and you have school tomorrow." Izuku nodded, heading to his room leaving Inko behind to clean up. Once in his room, he placed the photo in his bedroom drawer smiling at the thought of meeting his father one day, unaware that it might be sooner or much later.

Author's note: At the beginning of making this chapter I had the idea of giving out a call out to a few comic books, but a friend of mine said that I would be changed with copyrighting so I had to change it to fit more of the story. Hopefully that doesn't come to it. Overall I think I did something good, and hopefully I don't get banned for it.
