HHH

Harry and Fred went out to the shops needing to get things that she couldn't owl order. Taking all four kids was a lot so she was grateful that the twins arrived to help. They chose to take the two youngest children in the pram while George watched Rodolphus and Sirius at the house. George was fine with that since he felt he got the easier job of the two. That ended as a slightly subdued child approached him hesitantly. "Mr. George," Rodolphus said hesitantly.

"Yes buddy," George asked stopping what he was doing.

It took a second for the boy to speak. "Why is Miss Harry sad," Rodolphus asked.

The pranksters' eyes widened having not expected the question at all. "Miss Harry's okay, why do you ask?"

"No, she's not okay, Miss Harry cried last night," Rodolphus argued. George cringed. He wasn't wrong. Finding the abuse they suffered led to Harry being very upset which was in part why both Weasley's took the day to spend with them not wanting her to be alone. "And she looks so sad. Did someone do something bad to Miss Harry?"

"Come here little guy," he said lifting him onto his lap just as his dad used to do to him. Sirius looked expectantly for an answer too getting closer and George quickly settled him on his other leg so he could have their full attention. "When did you see Miss Harry cry?"

"When we first went to bed," Rodolphus admitted. "She was crying when she got us out of the bath. Did someone hurt her? I don't want anyone to hurt Miss Harry. She's nice. Were we bad?"

Merlin, George was not cut out for this, "Your right, Miss Harry was very sad," George said not sure if she'd want them to know but unable to bring himself to lie to the child who clearly trusted him enough to ask for help. "But it is not your fault. You weren't bad at all."

That part caused them to look relieved before Sirius went steely eyed looking much like the older marauder over the idea of anything happening to Harry. "Then someone hurt her," Sirius asked clearly not happy over the idea that someone hurt his precious Harry. "Can you make them stop? I don't want no one to hurt Miss Harry."

He really wished someone else was here having this conversation. He had no idea how to reassure them or explain and was terrified of messing it up. "Miss Harry is very sad that someone hurt you all," George said. "With the hot water and putting you under, it makes Harry sad to know people could be so mean to you."

"But it was teaching us," Rodolphus said confused. Sure, that might have been what their parents used as an excuse but there is no lesson in the abuse they suffered. There was no lesson important enough to allow such a horrible thing to occur.

"No, it wasn't," George said wanting to make sure they understood that. "Teaching should never hurt. She doesn't like that you were hurt or scared. That Baths scared you, so she was sad but she's okay.

"We won't be scared no more, promise," Rodolphus said.

George couldn't help but think he was messing this up horridly. That was not his intent at all. "Your allowed to be scared," George said. "She just was sad that someone made you scared of something that should be fun. It makes her sad knowing that people hurt you both because she cares about you. You didn't like the idea of someone hurting miss Harry right."

"No," They both said seriously, too seriously for such small children.

"It makes you sad right, that Miss Harry could have been hurt."

"Yes, Miss Harrys too nice to have anyone hurt her," Rodolphus said. "She's too good."

"Exactly," George said realizing he was getting the right point across this time. "So, Miss Harry was sad over the idea that someone hurt you all because she cares about you like you do her."

"Oh...how can we make Miss Harry not so sad?"

George hesitated. "Why don't you draw her a picture," George tried. Girls tended to like that stuff. He remembered his mother being so happy over Ron's crappy little drawings. Ron really couldn't draw but their mother didn't care. "I think that would make her really happy."

They smiled brightly at that suggestion causing George to let out a breath of relief. "Okay," they said running for their drawing things.

George really wished he volunteered to Help Harry with Bella and Rabastan getting groceries and made Fred stay back. Even more so when he realized that he was going to have to explain to Harry this conversation.

The group that went shopping entered to a much calmer house than expected. Normally George would have toys dancing around but it was quiet except for the two boys who jumped up the moment they entered the house. "Miss Harry, Miss Harry," the two boys said excitedly seeing her. They ran to her side giving her hugs around the legs.

"Siri, Rudo," she said grinning. "Were you good for George?"

"We were," Rodolphus said seriously. "We made you a present."

"You did," Harry said shocked as George stole the groceries and Bella from her arms.

They quickly ran to the pile of papers coming back. "We drawed it," Sirius said showing the picture he made her. "Do you like it Miss Harry."

"I love them both," Harry said seriously accepting the pictures from the two of them. "Thank you very much."

"Are you not sad now," Rodolphus asked hopeful.

The statement caused everyone to freeze as George cringed lightly getting confused glances sent his way. "What do you mean Rudy?" Harry asked gently.

"You were sad after bath time," he said. "We asked Mr. George why and he said it was cause our mother and fathers weren't very nice to us and that you were sad because baths weren't supposed to hurt and you care about us. Like how we were sad that you were sad and we thought someone hurt you. We wanted to make you happy again. You look super pretty when you smile."

Harry pulled both boys into a hug near tears again. She had tried to hard not to show them how upset she was but clearly failed. "Thank you so much, both of you," Harry said. "These pictures make me super happy." This got bright grins in response. "I think these beautiful pictures need to go on the wall," She decided not sure how to touch what they had said about being sad. "Everyone should be able to see what good artists you are."

"We are," Sirius asked hopeful.

"You are wonderful," she said pinning them up onto the wall. "Can you tell me about your pictures."

"That's me and you reading bedtime stories, that makes me really happy and you singing," Rodolphus said. She nearly choked at the sweet statement.

"And that's all of us, Me you Bella Rudy and Bassy," Sirius said pointing to each stick figure in turn. "See."

"I see," she said glancing to George who was watching from the doorway. "Why doesn't Fred get you all a cookie." She wanted to better understand since she didn't want to upset them, but she was confused and worried. She had not meant them to see her being upset which is from as far as she understood how this started.

The idea of a cookie clearly made them excited. "Before supper," Rodolphus said shocked knowing they weren't allowed sweets before meals.

"Just this once," Harry said as Fred took them out and she wiped her eyes looking at George. "What happened? We were only gone an hour."

"They came to me, very upset that someone hurt Miss Harry," George explained gently not sure the best way to say this. "They wanted me to fix it. Wanted me to make people stop hurting you, that you were too nice to be hurt. They were very worried about you because they knew bath time upset you. They wanted to make you happy again."

"Merlin."

"They care about you so much, their special Miss Harry," George said wishing that she could understand just how much those kids clearly loved in and in such a short amount of time. "You've had them a week only and already they always talk about the neat stuff they do with Miss Harry. How Miss Harry tucks them in at night and reads story. How they got to bake treats with Miss Harry. Miss Harry lets them play and doesn't spend all day teaching them. Miss Harry thinks they are smart. Miss Harry said that they were good boys for helping with Rabastan and Bellatrix. Miss Harry got us these toys isn't Miss Harry awesome?"

Harry wiped her eyes, "no one's ever...merlin. They did that for me. They were twice as upset George. I never meant for them to see me cry. I didn't…"

"You got your family Harry, you're the head of it but you got your family. They love you so much so clearly, you're doing this right. It's okay that they saw you upset because I think that just proves how much you love them and clearly how much they love you."

"So, they went to you," Harry asked amazed.

George nodded, that was an overwhelming thing too. That they so quickly trusted him to fix the problem. To help. He still had no idea what to think about that only that he would try his absolute best not to let anyone hurt Harry just as they asked.
