I walked onto the platform and looked at Ashido walking up the otherside.

"Sorry Sogeki, but this is where you sadly have to stop," Ashido said.

"You really think I'm not prepared to fight against a little acid?" I asked, lifting my gauntleted hands up in a boxing stance.

"Begin," Nezu said.

Ashido threw a glob of acid at me but I knocked it away with my gauntlet which was mostly acid immune. I ran at her as she threw another glob but I knocked that one away too. I kept running before getting to her and punching her in the gut. I then picked her up while she was frozen and set her down out of the ring.

"Izumi Sogeki moves onto the final match!" Nezu announced.

"Sorry about that," I said, putting my hand out to her.

"Nah, didn't hurt too much, just took the air out of me," Ashido said, accepting my hand.

I walked to the waiting room for me but caught someone I wasn't expecting outside of it.

"Hey kit, nice fight," Mirko said, leaning against the door.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Maybe, you see, I get to have a match with the winner of the Sports Festival for each year. Now I want an interesting match, but I don't think McSplodey can give it to me," she said.

"You don't think Hatsume is going to win?" I asked, annoyed.

"Against him, no, she's good, don't get me wrong, but he's going to take her wings off easily. His fighting style is so aggressive and he doesn't really plan his moves before he makes them. For someone like me he won't be a difficult fight. You however, you are a wild card. You don't have a crutch on using a quirk like everyone else who won't know what to do against an opponent whose quirk is like mine, but I feel like you would be able to give me the fight I want," she said. "So, if you want to help me, win. Don't worry, I know you can," she added, smirking as she left.

I went in the room and turned to the screen in the room to see a sight I was not expecting. Hatsume was trying to fly with only one wing while Bakugou was using his explosions to go up after her. This was slowly becoming what would last longer, the single winged pack or Bakugou's explosions. I watched as Bakugou pushed his explosions to the biggest he could make and as he grabbed Hatsume and threw her towards the ground. Hatsume landed in a roll but she wasn't getting up in the air anytime soon. She then pulled out a gun and shot it at him causing him to cover his ears.

"Must be sonic," I muttered.

He started to run at her with his ears covered before quickly uncovering them and releasing a large explosion sending her back. She rolled to a stop on the outside of the ring.

I sat back and sighed as I started formulating a plan on how to fight him. The door then busted open and Bakugou took a step in before glaring at me.

"Why the fuck are you here Deku? This is my waiting room!" Bakugou yelled.

"Double check the number on the door," I sighed.

"Damn it," he sighed. "Still, I guess I don't need to prepare to fight you."

"Don't get cocky, remember what happened last time you fought me like that?" I asked.

"Yeah, those gauntlets you designed to mess me up almost killed me," he said.

"I didn't design them to mess you up. I designed them to help you, I disabled use of one of them, but it backfired. I tried to warn you but you didn't listen. I still put you out while you were on fire," I said.

"Bullshit, you knew exactly what you were doing. Make it look like you did nothing wrong when you tried to kill. Because of you I am now in constant pain," he said.

"Then you know what I felt every day when you would use me as a personal quirk dummy and punching bag," I said. "Now leave so I can decide how I'm going to win this."

"You can't beat me, not in a real fight you dumb fucking bitch, maybe I should kill you right now," he said, sparking his hands up.

"Hey, Izumi," Yumi said, walking in. "Bakugou, what are you doing here?" she asked, looking at him.

"Wrong room," he growled, walking out.

"What was that about?"

"Nothing, did you need something?" I asked.

"I just wanted to ask, why is Ryukyu saying you are the greatest person?" she asked.

"Oh, um, it's not my place to say. Let's just say she made a bet on me beating Todoroki," I said.

"Ah, so what is your plan with Bakugou?"

"Um, to win, I have a small plan but not too much of one," I admitted.

"Don't think too hard about it, you know him, you know his quirk. You can do this," Yumi said, looking in my eyes.

"Can Izumi Sogeki please go to the tunnel?" the speakers asked.

"Wish me luck," I said, standing up and walking out.

I walked up the platform and looked at Bakugou walking at me.

"I want a clean fight, from both of you," Nezu said, looking at both of us sternly. "Begin!"

"DIE!" Bakugou yelled, charging at me with explosions.

I hit him with the escrima sticks before jumping back.

"Don't think I've shown everything I can do just yet," I said, putting the bottoms of the sticks together and activating them as they attached and made a full length staff.

I twirled it around before getting into a stance. Bakugou charged me and I knocked him away with the staff and also shocked him a bit. I then leaped back and threw four batarangs at him, with two hitting him in the shoulder while the rest missed. I then charged him before he could recover and started hitting him as much as I could with as much strength I could muster. I then kicked him back and shocked him again for longer. I was then sent flying back by an explosion. I stayed crouched as Bakugou charged me and grabbed his head before throwing him out of the ring. I stood up and looked at Bakugou lying in the dirt.

"I win," I sighed.

"Katsuki Bakugou is out of bounds and unconscious, Izumi Sogeki is the champion of the first years!" Nezu announced.

"You heard that folks, the girl who has been dominating the whole Sports Festival wins. Now in a few minutes, after the awards ceremony we will have a special match with our champion fighting a professional hero!" Present Mic announced.

I heard the crowd cheer and applaud but nothing compared to how they did most years. I walked into the tunnel and took a deep breath as I calmed my nerves.

"Told ya you could do it, kit," Mirko said, making me jump. "Sorry for scaring you like that."

"Nah, just dealing with actually winning and beating Bakugou," I said. "Kinda strange for me since I was used to being the one thrown in the dirt."

"What do you mean?"

"Bakugou and I went to Aldara together, he would bully me while we were there. After he got arrested I thought I was done, but the HPSC decided that since UA put him there they should be the ones to try to repair his mindset and give him a chance at being a hero," I explained.

"Damn, always knew those fuckers would take it too far," Mirko sighed. "Eh, you did good, kit. Can't wait for our match."

"Yeah," I agreed.

"Alright, time for you to get your award so we can fight," she said, her wild smile returning.

"Thanks," I said, walking out.

I saw Hatsume and Ashido standing on a platform next to each other with Bakugou on one by himself. I noticed that he was looking at the tunnel on the other side of the platforms. I looked and noticed that Ms. Tsutsumi was standing there with her arm transformed into a rifle looking at him with it lowered. I went on the final platform and Cementose used his quirk to raise them with mine being the tallest.

"And to give the awards," Nezu said.

"I am here!" All Might said, jumping into the center.

He was given the medals and said something to everyone else before he got to me.

"I suppose you did well, but I do hope that you realize that some realize the truth of what you are doing. They will help me show the world the villain you truly are," he said, putting the medal around my neck.

"You will never realize how wrong you are," I sighed.

"Now then, say it with me. Thank you for all your work!" All Might yelled as everyone else yelled Plus Ultra.

"Now, let's get ready for our final fight. Our first year Sports Festival champion Izumi Sogeki vs the number six hero Mirko," Present Mic announced as Mirko walked out in her costume as the platforms were lowered.

"For those who were concerned Mirko agreed to not use her full strength and actually be as careful as she can. We also have Recovery Girl nearby ready in case anything happens," Mr. Aizawa said.

"This is going to be interesting," Nezu said as I walked to the fighting ring. "The same rules as before apply, but I will stop if I see it getting too dangerous for either of you," Nezu added. "Are you ready?"

"I'm good to go," Mirko said.

"Sure," I said, twirling my staff.

"Begin!"

Mirko dashed forwards and raised her leg for an ax kick. I moved to the side and as soon as she landed I threw two batarangs and swung at her with my staff already emitting electricity. She moved away from the batarangs as the staff hit her stomach and her body tightened. She then charged me again and went to kick me but I raised my arms and pointed the fins at her and she hit them before yelping and jumping back.

"That hurt, you mother fucker," Mirko grunted.

"I'll have you know I have fucked no mothers," I quipped back. "But that might change if you have any kids."

"Heh, nice try, kit," she said, smirking as she leaped over me.

I quickly threw two batarangs and shot my grappling hook at her midsection. I watched as the grappling hook wrapped around her stomach before pulling as hard as I could and changing her direction. I then watched as she grinned and pulled back pulling me off the ground. I folded into myself and landed in a roll and looked up to get a foot to the face. I kicked as I was sent back. I looked and saw my staff near the middle of the platform on the other side of Mirko. I dashed forwards and went to slide under her legs but she twisted herself and caught me between them in a choke hold with her thighs.

"Come on kit, you gave a good fight I'll give you that, but I don't want to accidentally hurt you so just give up please," she said, her voice serious.

"I mean, death by thighs like your's wouldn't be too bad," I said, barely able to reach my staff with my hand.

"You really are a useless lesbian aren't you?" she huffed.

"Well, it's really good for distracting people," I said as I forced my arm in a way that one shouldn't and there was a loud pop.

I grabbed my staff and split it reaching my other arm and hand in a way that I didn't have to pop it out of the socket as well. I then stabbed her with both of the electrical sides and felt her body tighten as well as my own. I stopped and she released me. I then upped the power and stabbed her with them again. I watched as her body seized up before I pulled them back and she looked at me a little loopy.

"Huh, not bad kit," she said, falling down to one knee. "You are the first person to make me say this, I give up."

"Mirko has yielded, Izumi Sogeki wins," Nezu announced as the crowd looked at me in amazement.

It was silent before the whole crowd erupted louder than the rest of the day.

"Let's go talk to the old lady," Mirko said, struggling to stand up.

I went and offered her my non dislocated arm.

"Thanks," she said, using me to help walk to the tunnel. "Did you really dislocate your shoulder to beat me?"

"Eh, I wasn't trying to dislocate it, but it hurts like a bitch," I cussed.

"IZUMI!" Melissa yelled.

"Why did you think that was a good idea?" Yumi yelled, walking down the hall towards us.

"Oh no," I sighed.

"Friends?" Mirko asked, smirking.

"My girlfriend Melissa Shield and my older sister," I said.

"Oh, now I understand why you might be afraid."

"Come on, let's get you two to Recovery Girl," Yumi said. "Melissa, help Mirko walk. I'll get my idiot of a sister."

"Hey, I don't need help," I said, as Melissa took Mirko's other arm.

"Too fucking bad," Yumi said, picking me up bridal style with my dislocated arm away from her body.

"What were you thinking?" Melissa asked.

"I was thinking that I needed to grab my staff and just didn't stop," I said. "Also, put me down, I'm not a child."

"Nope, Recovery Girl," Yumi said, opening the door to the office she had in the stadium.

"Hey Sogeki, Shield, Arrowette," Tokage said, waving with a half formed hand. "Oh, um, nice to meet you Ms. Mirko."

"Drop the formalities kid, your friend here just whooped my ass," Mirko said.

"Both of you go sit on a bed," Recovery Girl said, walking over. "Hmm, nothing too bad with either of you. Mirko should be good after a bit of healing and some rest, but that shoulder will need reset immediately," she said, looking at me.

"Can you give something for me to bite?" I asked. A leather strap was handed to me.

"Don't worry it's clean," Recovery Girl said.

I put it in my mouth and looked at her. She did a movement with my arm and I bit down as hard as I could on the leather strap as the pain registered. After a bit it subsided and I opened my mouth and took the strap out.

"Ow," I said.

"You'll have it in a sling until classes start back up. You can do some light stretches but nothing heavy. I'll know if you do," she said, looking down at the bag Yumi brought me with my equipment I didn't use in the last fight including my goggles with Tony in them.

"Understandable," I said.

"Man, thanks for an amazing fight there, kit. Most villains go down easily with how much strength I was using but you actually made me use more than I originally planned on using," she explained.

"I'll admit, if you took it seriously I probably would've lost."

"I was taking it seriously, kit," she said. "Still, if you have a girlfriend, why were you flirting with me?"

"Like I said, to throw you off since I assumed I couldn't really threaten you all that much," I said.

"Wait, to defeat the number six hero, you flirted with her?" Tokage asked, bursting into laughter with Melissa and Yumi joining in.

"I mean, you can't say it didn't work," I countered.

"Now then, how about you two leave, and take Tokage with you, she's healed enough," Recovery Girl said, looking at Melissa and Yumi. "And you two, rest up for a bit before trying to leave," she added, looking at Mirko and myself.

Once everyone else was out I closed my eyes and felt myself go into the land of dreams. I saw some people standing in front of me. One had dark green hair, a pale white face with a crazed smile, wearing a purple and green suit. Another was a man wearing all black with a mask and goggles with long dark hair and a metal arm. The third was wearing a beaked mask with a feathered coat. Then there were two girls, one had pale green skin with red hair and wore what looked like leaves as clothes and the other had very pale skin and had platinum blonde hair in pigtails with one ending in blue and the other ending in red. I then noticed that they weren't standing with the men but more so off to the side, as if they weren't truly with them. On the other side of the men was a man with four tendrils holding him up as his body was raised. I watched as all of them looked at me before charging me. I woke up and gasped for air.

"Are you alright?" Recovery Girl asked. "I didn't mean to scare you, but you're free to go now."

"Yeah, just, strange dreams," I said, not able to remember what just happened in the dream that scared me.

I got up and made my way out of the room to find Yumi waiting for me.

"Hey, ready to go home and relax for a bit?"

"Definitely," I said.

We walked out and I noticed that most people were visiting some of the stands. Tomorrow would be the second year tournament and I would be able to watch it with Yumi.

POV Yumi Sogeki aka Arrowette

"Alright, so now we have some things to discuss," Nezu said, starting the teachers meeting. "First off, All Might, young Sogeki told me of the conversation you had with her. I will not tell you again, but if you try to convince a student to drop out of the hero course I will fire you. While you might think you are protecting them, to them it might look like the teachers don't trust them and with that hell hole of a school she went to before she already has trust issues," Nezu explained.

"I'm sorry sir, but-" All Might started.

"Good, now onto the next order of business. Miss Hatsume put in a request to be able to enter the hero course as well as the support course since she tested out of classes similarly to the two other hero students who are in dual courses. I believe that we should allow her entrance, but now comes the hard part. Which hero student do we feel didn't do their best or prove they earned their spot?" Nezu asked.

"Yaoyorozu, she didn't take Sogeki's speech at the start seriously unlike everyone else which proved to be enough to cause her to not even make it through the first round," Aizawa said.

"Agreed, with how she acts, thinking everyone else is below her, I can't help but worry that we should follow that MLA lead you found in Aldara and see if it connects to her family," I agreed.

"Hmm, that is possible, I'll see what I can find with help from our technical friend," Nezu said.

"I don't believe this to be the wisest decision, looking at her grades she's the top of the class," All Might said.

"Actually, she's third, Izumi has the highest grade with Melissa following," I corrected.

"I am in agreement with Aizawa and Sogeki, Yaoyorozu will be transferred to one of the other courses and Hatsume will take her spot in 1-A," Nezu said. "Now, we have gotten quite a few requests for our champion of the first years however I can't help but feel as if some of these are just to tear her down or try to dissuade her from going to heroics, or worse going to be attempts at physically harming her in a way that looks like an accident."

"I'll go through them and confer with some of the other teachers if I can't come up with a logical reason on why to deny the request," Aizawa said. "I'll also go through Shield's requests."

"Oh, and this year I decided that you can put a request in for a student if you so wish to unlike previous years," Nezu added. "And since Miss Hatsume hasn't had as much training as everyone else she will stay behind and I will help her catch up to everyone else in the class."

"Um, Principal Nezu," Ectoplasm said, walking in. "We have a couple of interesting visitors."

"Heya Nezu!" a high pitched voice I recognized said.

"We wanted to put a couple of requests in and decided since we were coming through here on our way to Hosu we would give them in person," a voice making my cheeks redden said.

"It's been a while since we saw UA too," a third female said.

"It's a lot bigger now," a male added.

AN-

So that's the end of this chapter! For those who know who the last people are, who do you think it is that made Yumi blush? Also, for the final battle of Mirko vs Izumi my friend and I each rolled a D20, I was rolling for Izumi and they were rolling for Mirko, and we decided whoever got the higher number would win. I rolled a 12 and he rolled an 11 so I decided to make it very close with Mirko deciding that if she continued she wouldn't be able to fully hold back and not wanting to accidentally hurt Izumi. While Mirko is a hardass I feel like she is kind enough to not want to hurt a child under her exterior. Make sure to follow, favorite, comment, and kudos! Link Out!
