3rd. Person Pov.

Chichi was breathing heavily. It's been about a month of this weighted training and she is still behind the others. Both in power and stamina. She got to the point where the suit and weights aren't slowing her down as much as when they all first started, but she can't last as long as the others. She hates that. It's like she is slowing them down despite none of them actually thinking that.

She looks at the others who were still sparing. Yamcha joined everyone a few days after they started. Having finally gathered the remaining dragon balls he joined up as soon as he could. Even though he started late he quickly caught up to them. Krillin and Tien were still ahead of him but he wasn't far behind them. From what she can tell pretty soon they will be upgraded to the heavier set at this rate. While she and Chiaotzu still had a ways to go.

They didn't wear the weights all the time. Roshi lets everyone take off the weights to spare without them so they can get readjusted to fighting without them. MIght seem dumb but she accidently overextended once while sparing so its actually a good idea. Small mistakes like that would get them killed against these Saiyans. Even though it's only been a month everyone here has gotten much stronger.

Roshi says she has surpassed Wukong before he died. Although she already can tell once he is done in otherworld he will be stronger than all of them.

When it comes to the training Roshi has them start with basics with the weights on, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, running, katas, ect. Then there is the sparing. She and Chiaotsu mainly spar against each other while the other three spar together. Chiaotsu obviously didn't wear weights as heavy as the rest of them. Mainly due to the fact he fights with his psychic powers more than his ki based attacks, but the weight training he is doing is benefiting him very well. He even takes time to practice his psychic powers while also training everything else.

Currently though she and Chiaotsu were taking a break and watching the other spar without weights. Thanks to all the training she can keep up with their movements.

They suddenly stopped and got distance from each other. Forming a triangle in between them. She realized they were about to power up again.

With a yell they started to bulk up and get stronger. The Max Power form. Roshi had taught this to them years ago. While increasing your power is great, push it to 100% and all those muscles will slow you down. So the 100% form of it is mainly used to finish off the opponent with one final attack. They have been training the form to use less stamina while in it. One of its other drawbacks. Chichi decided she wasn't going to learn that and neither was Chiaotsu. Although with him it's because the form is incompatible with his smaller body and it doesn't do anything to his psychic powers.

They entered 100% and stayed still for a minute. Trying to get better control of the form. Before they could charge at each other again Roshi interrupted everyone.

"Ok that's enough!" He yells at them. " I understand wanting to master that form. Believe me. It's something I'm still trying to do, but you're wasting time and effort trying to master 100%. It just takes too much stamina to enter and maintain properly. 50-75% should be best for combat as they aren't as taxing."

They nodded while powering down. 100% was just too much stress on the body to fully control right.

"Besides. You three need a break otherwise you'll overwork yourselves. That will do the opposite of what we want." Roshi chides them. 'However. Watching them power up to 100% I noticed something odd. I'm not completely sure if I saw correctly. So I won't mention it until I confirm it myself.'

He walks away while everyone stops to rest. They discussed what they could work on with their techniques and how to improve them as well as anything new they're working on.

"Hey Chichi. Have you thought of any moves or techniques for yourself?" Krillin asks.

"No. I'm still just trying to catch up to you guys." She told him. "Closest thing I had to a special move was when I was younger and used that bladed helmet when I was a kid. Thinking back on it, the armor was embarrassing to wear." She blushes remembering what it looked like.

"Bladed helmet?" Chiaotsu asked.

"Ya. I grabbed the blade like this." She said, closing her eyes and holding her hands above her head remembering how she used it. Unknowing to herself she was unconsciously using ki and to the others surprise the ki manifested a blade on her head similar to what she had on the helmet.

"Um. Chichi?" Yamcha tried to tell her but she was too focused on remembering her attack.

"And then I threw it like this!" She said throwing her hands forward like she used to do. The ki blade on her head went flying towards Krillin who was siting on a boulder. He panics for a bit before jumping off the boulder as the blade cuts it in half. It continues to fly and leaves the island before dissipating over the ocean.

She opens her eyes and sees Krillin on the ground looking at the boulder he was on. Her eyes widened when she saw what happened to it. "W-what happened?" She asked.

"You just formed a ki attack on your head that cut that boulder in half?!" Yamcha explains with wide eyes.

"W-what! How?" She asked.

Roshi who saw the whole thing walks over and explains. "You must have subconsciously used ki to form the blade you were so familiar with. I would suggest practicing it so you can do it on purpose. An attack like that can come in handy. Any other moves you probably remember that you might be able to do now?"

She thinks for a bit before placing both the middle and index finger from both hands near the center of her forehead. She focuses her ki there. Remembering something she did when she was little. Everyone saw the ki start to form where her fingers were at. She opens her eyes and lets out a yell as the ki shoots out a beam that pierces one of the boulder halves.

She lets out some heavy breathing as she sees what she did. "Well. I guess I have two techniques to work on." She says with a smile. Feeling like she is actually catching up to everyone.

"Looks like it." Roshi says with a smile. "Ok everyone. Rest for about half an hour. Once that's done it's back to training. We must make every second count."

"Right!" Everyone says.

Krillin looks up and wonders. "I wonder how Wukong is doing?"

"Probably already training as we speak haha." Yamcha jokes.

Area: Otherworld. Snake Way

"THIS SUCKS!" Wukong yells as he sprints as fast as he could down the snake way. Why is he sprinting as fast as he could like a madman? That's simple.

A giant snake was currently chasing him down snake way obviously.

As for why said snake was chasing him, it was a strange story.

He had been going for about a month straight on the path. Well not a month straight. While he won't die of hunger or thirst he can still get exhausted. Anyway he eventually came across something he thought only existed in the filler of Z. The Snake Princesses Castle. Now while Goku stopped there because he thought he made it to King Kai's, he knows that's not the case.

So he just ran right past it without looking back.

'At least I won't have to deal with her.' He thought to himself.

When is he going to stop tempting fate?

Hearing a noise behind him he turns his head to see the Snake Princesses true snake form barreling at him. "YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST IGNORE ME!? NO ONE IGNORES ME!" The Yandere Snake Princess yells out.

So Wukong decides to Nope himself out as fast as possible.

"LEAVE ME ALONE! FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO MAKE YOUR PRINCE!" He yells back.

"DIE!"

'Why me!?' He yells in his mind as he keeps sprinting down the path.

After being chased for a few days he has it and turns around. Deciding to deal with this now. Fortunately her anger made her easy to trick into tying herself into knots around the path and making her stuck. So after leaving her for her servants to eventually catch up to untie he continues on his path.

After a few hours of running he stops to take a nap. That lasted for longer than he would have liked. Not sure how long since he doesn't have a watch. After waking up he decided to start flying again after getting some rest to recharge. As he is flying he notices he is flying a bit faster than before. "Guess all that sprinting for my afterlife made me a little stronger. Doubt it anything drastic though. Probably added like 20-25 to my power level if read on a scouter."

He thinks about how long he has to go till he gets there. Probably another month if he is correct. Took Goku almost half a year if he remembers correctly. He should be there sooner since he isn't getting set back or stalled like he did, and since his power level was already higher then Goku's was at the time he should make it there faster. Just hope it doesn't take too long to learn the Kaioken or Spirit Bomb.

After all, Human bodies are not as tough as Saiyan bodies. So it's gonna be a problem to learn them.

Area: Earth.

It's already been nearly four months since the training started. Chichi can safely say she has caught up to the others by now. Wasn't easy at all, felt like Hell at times and many times she wanted to give up from the pain her body screamed at her. She pushed through and she as well as the others have successfully completed the weighted turtle suits.

The suits didn't feel as heavy as when they started and moving in them is much easier now. Everyone has gotten much stronger as a result. Tien was at the head of the pack. Followed by Yamcha as a surprise and then by Krillin. Chichi was behind him with Chiaotsu behind her. Although he makes up for it in his Psychic powers.

Roshi stood in front of everyone looking at the progress they made. "Excellent. You all have mastered the suits and have grown tremendously as a result." They all had some pride in them from hearing that.

"However…it's not nearly enough." This knocked down the pride they were feeling. "Don't get me wrong. If Raditz and Kakarot were to face you five right now, you would easily win. Not to mention how strong most of you would get using the Max Power State. But that won't be enough."

Roshi walks over to an unopened crate that had been gathering dust. He wipes off the dust and opens the box. " For the next part. I want you all to do two things. 1, replace the turtle shells with these heavier ones, and 2, put on the original weighted gear you all except Chichi had used before underneath the suits."

"Seriously!? All that weight?" Yamcha asked.

"It won't take any of you as long to complete this part. Once you all have this done we can move onto something special. Something that should really power you guys up." Roshi explains.

They all know that what's coming is big. So they gear up without complaining. After that Roshi has them start their basics again to get used to the weights. As they do this Roshi looks up and wonders. 'Wukong. Have you been training just as hard as those five? I hope once the saiyans arrive the next time we meet won't be in Otherworld.'

Area: Snake Way

"Finally!" Wukong exclaims loudly. There is the end of Snake Way, and above the end is the small planet of King Kai. After months of flying, jumping, sprinting, and just plain running he finally made it. Since he wasn't stalled like Goku was he made it sooner then he did. That sprinting from the snake must have helped as well. Whatever the case he finally made.

Wukong ran the rest of the way to the end of the tail and looked up towards the small planet. With a smile he flies to the planet. Although he can't help but feel like he forgot something. He was harshly reminded as he neared the planet only for gravity to slam him into the ground hard. He forgot the ten times gravity! He can barely move. Not to mention he hasn't fully recovered from the trip here. If he had remembered the gravity he would have rested a bit at the tail before flying towards this planet.

As he is struggling to got off the ground he hears a noise. He looks up to see a regular monkey. 'Its Bubbles.' He remembers King Kai's pet monkey. He also has a talking cricket.

"Hey. You wouldn't happen to know where King Kai is right?" He asked. The monkey looks at him for a bit before moving towards the tree and climbing it. "Guess that's either a No or a Don't care."

He starts crawling, or dragging himself, on the ground towards the house. Believing that's the most likely place for King Kai to be. Because this planet doesn't have much on it. As he is getting close he eventually sees a shoe in front of him. He looks up to see King Kai himself looking down on him.

"Uh. Hi?" Wukong says.

"Hello there. I see you finally made it. Not a bad time either." King Kai said. "But it's gonna be pretty difficult to train you if you can't even walk."

Brutal but true. "G-give me a second." Wukong asks before using as much effort as he can to get off the ground. It actually took a few minutes but he eventually was standing.

King Kai nods. "Ok. So you can stand, but can you walk?"

Wukong was hesitant before he started trying to walk. Just put one foot in front of the other. He immediately fell to the ground hard as soon as he tried to lift one foot.

"If you can't get used to the gravity of my world you won't be of any use against the Saiyans. I was informed of you and your plight by King Yenma. Their home planet when it was still around naturally had the gravity mine does. So if you can't master this you have no chance against them." King Kai said before turning around and heading back to his house.

"Once you can walk, come talk to me so I can begin your test to see if you're worthy to train." He said before disappearing into his house.

Wukong could do nothing but struggle to move. He decided to lay still and rest as best he could. Without knowing when he passed out and woke up to Bubbles poking him with a stick. "Stop poking me." He said. The monkey stopped for a second. Then went right back to poking.

He rolled over and tried to push himself up. The rest helped him regain some strength so he had a little easier time getting up. After about ten minutes he was finally on his feet. His body felt really heavy and it was a little hard to breathe. He tries to move forward, but can only manage to drag his foot across the ground. Deciding his was at least a little progress he keeps going.

After what felt like fifteen minutes he finally made it through King Kai's door. The Kai was sitting in a chair drinking something when he noticed him. "Oh. Finally made it to my house. Guess taking a nap for twenty-two hours helped you regain some strength."

"Twenty-Two Hours!"Wukong yells in surprise.

"Yep. For a human it's surprising you're able to make it this far already. Must have trained yourself hard back when you were alive." King Kai said before putting his cup down and walking till he was in front of Wukong. "Before I can train you, you must pass a few tests first."

Wukong nods while waiting for what the test would be. For all he knows they will be different then what was canon.

"Your first test…is to make me laugh." He said with a straight face.

Crap..he was bad at starts thinking of something before something pops into his head.

"Ok. How about a few riddles?" Wukong suggested with a small smile. King Kai was confused by the request but let him try.

"OK. There is a boat in the water with exactly twenty people on it, but when you look towards the boat There isn't a single person on it. Why?"

King was confused by the riddle. 'But doesn't that contradict itself? Saying there is twenty people one moment then saying there is no one?" Wukong smirks at this while King Kai trices to think of the answer. However after some time he gives up.

'The answer is…Because everyone on the boat was married. So no one on the boat was Single."

King was stunned as he thought about it before having to cover his mouth to stop from laughing at the obvious answer.

"Next riddle. What gets bigger the more you take away?" He asked King Kai as he stopped to think about the riddle.

He thought about it for a while, giving guesses that were wrong till he gave up. "Ok. What gets bigger the more you take away?" He finally questioned.

"A hole."

King thought about it for a bit before smiling. "Ok. While this isn't how I normally do it. You pass the first test. Now for the second. Bubbles!" He calls out to the monkey. Who jumps in through the opened window with a banana in his hands.

"Your second test is to catch Bubbles. This won't be easy at all since you're still getting used to the gravity so this will definitely take you some time. Especially since Bubbles is quite fast." King Kai said as Bubble begins to walk away.

Wukong then begins to drag his body towards the monkey at a very slow pace. He already knows the next one will involve the cricket who is even faster than the monkey. So this will take a while to complete before he can begin to receive actual training.

He just hopes that things go smoothly.

Area: Space. Approximately 7-8 months till earth

Two space pods could be seen traveling at high speeds across space. Their destination. Earth. One of the occupants was dreaming of the wish he desired so much from these 'Dragon Balls'. While the other was itching for a fight. To smash into paste weaklings below him. Both planned to make the occupants of this Earth feel Hell as they wiped them out before turning their Immortal attention on a much bigger prize.

Meanwhile, Another battle pod was soaring through space towards a nearby Planet that was owned by his employer. Once he arrives there he will use their healing chamber to heal the damage he received before heading back to that planet that dared kill his brother. The round trip back will take nearly eight months but the wait will be worth it.

AN: And that's finally a wrap! Sorry it took so long. Wanted to make it much longer to compensate but realized that if I kept going it would get worse. Wukong finally made it to King Kai's while the others are progressing nicely in their training. And to clear any confusion the reason Roshi said they would have won against Raditz and Kakarot as they are is because all of their current full power would have a better difference against them than before due to all of them being stronger than Wukong and Piccolo was when the fight happened. I'll try to write about how Piccolo is doing next time since he hasn't shown up this whole chapter. Don't forget to Fav, Follow, and review. Deathwatch out.
