Hey all, I have some news, and not necessarily a good one I think? So IRL fact I have severe ADHD and I recently discovered Fabvl's "Nightmar3" Rap/song about Itachi on Youtube, all rights reserved to him, and it inspired me to write this. For those that don't know "this" - as in this specific chapter, is a story I adopted from a friend, those who know, know I'm talking about Silver. This is my take on his story, and I kinda hyper fixated on it for a few days.

So the next chapter to A Tanuki and a Fox is going to be a little late. BUT! I thought I'd give you this little peak to make up for it. But don't get too invested, I'm replacing this with the next chapter when I finish with it.

For those unfamiliar the basis of this story is that Sasuke dies at the battle of the end, gifting both Naruto and Sakura a Sharingan. The story itself has a unique shifting perspective It begins with Jiraiya talking to Itachi then cuts straight to Sasuke's funerial. From their the perspective shifts from Naruto's at the funeral and Jiraiya telling Itachi what happened.

Now this is a rough draft, so anything you see here is subject to change when it actually gets posted. All rights reserved for Kishimoto!

Rise! Naruto of the Sharingan Rough Draft!

Grey clouds filled the sky, Jiraiya was standing over a grave, wearing a black suit. "Even Kami knows what happened" Jiraiya said quietly to himself. He was standing in a cemetery, the crowd gone by now, but even now they mourned. Konoha had lost someone, Sasuke the Last Loyal Uchiha.

Jiraiya himself had no personal connection to the boy, but he was all to intimate with the tragedy that plagued the young boys life. That's why he was still here after all, there was know way he wouldn't show up. Surly the entire world knew by now. There was a sound behind him, Jiraiya stared stoically ahead. "Hello Itachi."

"Jiraiya."

"I truly am sorry for your loss."

Itachi walked up to stare at the grave, it was plain with the Uchiha symbol on it. This grave was purely ceremonial, Sasuke was really buried in the Uchiha graveyard, as was custom. On it read 'Sasuke Uchiha Died age 12, gennin of the Hidden Leaf, fought and bled for his team, he sacrificed himself so that they may live.'

"What happened?"

"Well..."

It was raining, Kami Naruto hated the rain, like the gods themselves were crying. He had on a black suit, the only suit he owned. Iruka had rented it for him. His former teacher was standing beside him now, offering him comfort, amongst the crowd of people that had come to attend. Honestly Naruto thought all of Konoha had come for the occasion.

Sakura was beside him, though she was to busy crying to know what was being said. The Hokage was giving a speech, but more people were interested in Naruto and Sakura at the moment. More specifically the bandages they were both sporting on their heads. Naruto had his left eye wrapped, and Sakura had her right eye wrapped. The more experienced ninja would also have noticed that Sasuke had bandages wrapped in silk around his eyes.

"Sasuke...why?" Naruto asked, horrified and holding the pincushion that was his bestfriend. "Why did you do that?"

Sasuke smirked weakley "you idiot." Sasuke said, his body slowly growing numb. Why had he done that? "put me down and focus on the fight."

"But.."

Sasuke looked away "I don't know why, my body moved on it's own." Naruto's bangs covered his face, his mind was blank except for one thought 'was his best friend about to die?' Then he spoke up.

"Is this your first time losing a comrade?"

The Hokage had just finished his speech, now those who wished could say goodbye. First came the villagers, many wishing him a fond farewell. Some proclaiming hims as their on true love. Sakura growled, not mad at them, but herself. Because that's exactly how she used to act. Thinking devotion would win Sasuke over. All he wanted was a friend, and an equal.

She clenched her fist, she blamed herself. Had she focused more on being a Kunoichi...on her taijutsu...if she had been more useful.

"I'm sorry, but he knew the dangers when he put that headband on."

"Shut up" Naruto barked, anger boiling in his veins.

Haku held up a handful of senbon "please forgive me for this, but I must kill you next" she jumped from mirror to mirror until she was sure he had lost track of her, not that he seemed to be paying attention then she launched her senbon, aiming for the base of his neck. It would paralyze him, the second volly would go straight through his neck.

"I SAID SHUT UP!" Naruto roared, turning around as he did so. The very force of it blocked the senbon. Dark orange chakra started bubbling from his stomach until it covered him like a cloak. A single tail emerged from behind him. But apart from that, his whisker marks grew darker and Haku was caught off guard by his eyes. They were supposed to be blue, so why were they red all of a sudden.

A sense of dread filled the air, and all of Haku's senses went on high alert. Why was this boys chakra visible, and why did he suddenly feel very dangerous? She steeled herself, ready to fight.

"I didn't ask for this! I didn't ask for you to save me!"

Next up were the ninja, because the civilian council wanted him to succeed they had offered Sasuke numerous chunin and jonin during his ninja training. Many proclaimed him their finest student, but Iruka just stood silently. Maybe if had done more, maybe if he had been more strict. He just wasn't ready to lose one of his students so soon. He peered through the crowd, staring at Kakashi Hatake.

Kakashi had yet to lift his eyes from the ground. He was being upheld and supported by his fellow senseis. There was a cold look in Kakashi's eye, it gave way to no emotion. The man himself was torn inside. On one side, some else had died, another name to add to the list of Kakashi's failures. But on the other side, this had brought on need to keep Naruto and Sakura safe.

'They need to be strong enough to face the consequences of this, and I'm one of the only people that can make that happen.' That thought alone was the stone that stopped Kakashi from sinking completely.

"H...Haku?" Naruto was stunned, this enemy, this threat that had possibly killed his best friend, was the same kind hearted person that he had met in the forest? His mind refused to believe this. "But..why?"

Haku looked down, picking up her broken mask "Master Zabuza saved me when I was young, he trained me to survive. Now I only exist as a tool for him to use."

"No way..but you said.."

"What I said to you is irrelevant, my life is meaningless if not in the servant!"

"No! I refuse to believe that!"

Haku stood up, grabbing some more senbon "it does not matter, I am still your enemy!" She cocked her hand back, ready to deliver another volley, trying to buy time to make another mirror. But then sounds of cackling lightning filled the air.

Next up where Sasuke's classmates, the ones who grew up with him. Ino loudly professed her love for Sasuke, glaring daggers at Sakura and Ino. Shikamaru, and Choji said quiet words to themselves, along with Team Eight. After them came Sasuke's own team. The crowds parted like a sea, so that Sakura, Naruto and Kakashi could walked unabated. Kakashi held Naruto's shoulders, both of them allowing Sakura to have a moment to herself.

Now that she was here, the tears seemed unable to come. She was filled with so many regrets, every missed meal every missed training sessions every...everything she could have done to be better, to be stronger. She had been completely useless, and she thought that would impress Sasuke? It was so pathetic she could laugh.

'All I did I could do was be a background character. But you gave me this' She resisted the urge to cover her bandaged eye, a habit she developed whenever she thought about it 'why? Do you see something in me, or was it your way of saying you considered me a friend to?'

Why. That was all Haku could think. She could have made it, she saw what was coming, she knew she would have been fast enough to make it. To save her master. So why was he here? That blond boy, Naruto, who had been a target almost the entire fight, until that insane power. The same one who let go of that power, and refused to fight.

How had he seen what she was going to do, and leapt to tackle her in mid air, stopping her from saving her master from being impaled through the chest by Kakashi's lighting technique. She watched, frozen much like Naruto had been, as Kakashi's summoned ninken disappeared, and Zabuza not supported by them fell to his knees.

"You fought well Zabuza Momoichi."

"MASTER ZABUZA!" Haku screamed.

Now that he could no longer concentrate on the mist, he could see her know, being stopped by that brat. She had tried to sacrifice herself for him. That though struck Zabuza more than his impending doom. His opponent, Kakashi looked down upon him "any final words?"

If he was going to die, and he was going to, maybe...just once in his life, he could show a little weakness "tell the kid I'm sorry she's going to have to grow up fast." Zabuza fell forward, but he was caught by Kakashi "between you and me, I know where Haku is going to when she dies. And I know I won't be there. To think, this is the last time I'll ever..see..her..."

Zabuza fell off of Kakashi's shoulders, the rest of his life fading away.

Naruto was there now, looking at his best friend for the last time. "You idiot, I didn't ask for you to save me. And then you do something crazy like that.

"...I see." Itachi pulled the brim of his hat down, so they covered his face. Not even kami was allowed to see him cry. His tears were only reserved for his brother. "And his sharingan is it true?"

Jiraiya coughed into his hands "yes, for both of them."

His fist balled up, Itachi managed to control his furry, for now. His anger instinctively activating his sharingan, he spoke in a cold and slow tone "I gave my life for this village."

Jiraiya held his hands up "Itachi listen-"

But Itachi wasn't in the mood for arguments, no debates, no discussions. "NO! He died hating me! He died not knowing the truth! You're only job was to ensure his safety until he was strong enough to kill me! Everything I did, I threw my life away, MY CLANS LIFE AWAY FOR HIM!" Itachi turned, stepping directly into Jiraiya's face.

"Itachi I know that, just listen to me-"

"No, I did not come here to listen or argue, and I won't fight. Not here, not today. This is a warning" Itachi held up a Leaf head band, it was black and worn. It was Itachi's original headband, not the one he used as a missing nin. He made a swift cut through it and threw the headband into the ground at Jiraiya's feet. "You can now consider me an official missing ninja of the Hidden Leaf. This is your warning Jiraiya, when I return it will be to kill everyone who was involved in this. Naruto and Sakura are innocent in this so I will give them a chance, but I will make sure they are worthy of my brothers eyes. And if i find them lacking, I will destroy them too."

Jiraiya said nothing but grimaced. He had no right to say anything, Itachi's anger was justified. "I know I have no right to ask this, but how long do we have?"

Itachi knelt down over Sasuke's grave "I don't know. There are questions I need to answer, about the Akatsuki and their leader."

Jiraiya steeled his face, he had nothing but respect for Itachi. But he had duties and priorities too "Itachi I want to let you grieve, but I also know your sick, and that you don't have much time left. I need to know how soon you plan to test Naruto and Sakura."

Itachi deactivated his Sharingan "they are safe for now. I hear you are planning on taking Naruto on a trip, however you plan to do that, you have until those two years are over. Now leave me, I will be gone in a few minutes."

Jiraiya walked away, Itachi had declared war and the Leaf Village was to blame. "one question thought" Itachi's words pierced the air, stopping Jiraiya "the Ice user, Haku, what happened to her?"

"I'm not going to turn your revenge on someone Itachi. I'm leaving." But as Jiraiya turned away his thoughts wandered to the rest of the story.

AAAANNNNDDD CUT! Silver really annoyed me by getting rid of the first chapter to his version, the way he changed the perspectives was awesome! I tried to imitate it as much as I could. Again sorry for the delay, as always, see ya next time!
