Dumbledore and Snape stood right in front of the Medical Wing with the doors charmed so no one could overhear their conversation. "So, Severus, you wanted to have a chat with me?" Dumbledore said still smiling. "Old git, this is nothing to smile about." Snape spat. "Forgive me, Headmaster." he emphasized the last word while gritting his teeth. Dumbledore didn't answer but looked at the potion's master, Snape understood and continued on. "As I mentioned multiple times before, you have to do something about the Astronomy towers, Albus. This is not the first neither is it the last time that something like this will happen." Snape turned around not wishing to face Dumbledore. "…or have you already forgotten what happened in my year at this very school?" His voiced trembled as he said those words. Dumbledore's face dropped. "Of course I haven't Severus…you were in similar situation as Potter at the time I remember." He tried to reach out to Severus but he swatted away his hand. "You should at least charm the towers for Merlin's sake!" Snape snapped his eyes glaring deeply into the Headmaster's own. "Severus…" Dumbledore replied looking desperate. "Don't "Severus" me! I swear on my life that this won't be the last time!" Snape walked on leaving Dumbledore alone in front of the Medical wing. "Do something about the towers, Albus." He called out to the Headmaster, his voice still trembling. He stopped right around the corner and faced Dumbledore, he whispered with tears forming in his eyes, "Please, Albus." and he dashed away. Dumbledore saw the tears in Snape's eyes and he felt horrible, the pattern kept repeating, first Severus and now Harry himself. He had to do something. During Albus and Snape's conversation Professor McGonagall on the other hand went up to the very tower Harry had jumped from and looked around. She walked near the railings and from where she looked down she could still see the remaining stain of Harry's blood on the ground, she felt miserable seeing that her very own Gryffindor student was in enough pain to attempt to end his life and she stood around inches from him and continued her daily life unknowingly. She strolled around the tower, deep in thoughts, until she saw a small pool of blood, no bigger than her fist she walked over and her heels hit something hard, it clinked and spun and when she bent down and grabbed it she found it be the tip of a shiny muggle blade still covered in fresh red blood and right next to it was a bundle of bandages with the end's splattered in red, bandages that Harry forgot to grab that night. Her face paled and she put the blade and bandages in her pocket and rushed down the stairs. She stood in front of Dumbledore's office and said the password to the stone gargoyle in front of the entrance, "Sherbet Lemon!" and the door quickly opened, quicker than any other day because no one, not even the stone gargoyle wanted to be in the way of a busy Minerva. She ran up the spiral stairs, her heels clicking aggressively, and she barged into his office to find that he wasn't there. She quickly walked back down, wondering where in the world Dumbledore would be and made her way to Madame Pomfrey so she could talk to her about Harry. On her way to the Medical wing she ran into Snape who seemed to deep in thoughts, "I'm sorry, Minerva." he apologized with a pained look on his face and she could see the tears dripping from his cheek. He dashed away quickly with his robe fluttering in the air. Minerva wanted to go after Severus but saw Dumbledore in front of the Medical wing and brought him back inside to talk. "Albus, Poppy, I found this up in the Astronomy tower, I think Potter's cuts that you healed were recent, the blade seems to be fresh with blood." and she handed the blade over to Madame Pomfrey. "And, this seems to be yours." Minerva said as she handed over the bandages. "So this is where my bandages went." Madame Pomfrey sighed. She thanked her but Minerva could see that she seemed to be thinking about something else at the time. Dumbledore on the other hand was as pale as his hair and he was muttering something no one else could here. "Albus, you need to do something about the towers!" Minerva yelled, in a much more aggressive tone unlike Severus whose same words were filled with more spite. "You and Severus seem to be having the same thoughts today." Dumbledore said with a slight smile, he would have laughed if it wasn't such a serious matter. "This is no time for jokes, Albus! See what Harry had done! He isn't the first and he won't be the last student to do this if you don't do something about those towers!" Minerva was in a rage, she was angry at herself and now Dumbledore. "My apologies, Minerva. I'll send a letter to Scrimgeour about charming the towers right away." Albus said in a more serious tone. "Good!" McGonagall scoffed as she walked out of the medical wing. Harry heard the commotion and opened his eyes very slightly mustering every strength he had left and recognized the tip of his blade on Madame Pomfrey's desk. He sat straight up and tried to get out of bed and the dizziness got to him and he saw everything go dark until he fell straight into the Headmaster's arm who had caught him before he hit the ground.
