What Happened after the Destruction of the Orbus Barrier?
Reid awoke on a cliff, nearby the Rasheans forest, where he, and Farah, had originally found Meredy. Reid looked around, and noticed that Farah was lying next to him. He noticed that the others, meaning Keele, Meredy, Max, and Chat, were nowhere to be seen. Reid looked at Farah, who was lying unconscious next to him, and wondered what had happened to the others. Reid looked up into the sky, towards Celestia, and realized that they had fallen far enough for both of them to die. Why hadn't they then?
Reid placed a hand on Farah's back, and shook her gently.
"Mmm…" Replied Farah, as she awoke to Reid touch. She sat upright, and noticed Reid was looking at her.
"What?" Farah asked kid of irritated.
Reid shrugged, "I was just making sure you weren't hurt."
Farah got up, and dusted off her dress, "I'm fine. After that tussle with Nereid, you really think a measly blast will kill me?" Then she noticed the trees behind Reid. Farah looked around some more, and asked Reid, "Do you have any idea where we're at?
Reid nodded, "I think we're by the Rasheans Forest."
Farah's head quickly snapped back to face Reid, "Do you mean to tell me that we're in Inferia?"
Reid shrugged, "I guess. I don't know myself, I just woke up."
Farah nodded, and then turned away from Reid. If this is Inferia, we fell a long way. Why didn't we die?"
Reid shook his head and replied, "I don't know. I was wondering that myself."
Farah then heard a familiar sound, but one she hadn't heard in some time. She turned to face Reid, "Is that your stomach I hear?"
Reid smiled, "I'm going to go hunting, do you want anything?"
Farah, raised her arms above her head, and stretched them. "I'm going to come too. I can't just leave you by yourself. You might do something stupid."
Reid withdrew his sword, "And like you never do anything stupid?"
Farah jumped at him, "Oh shut up!"
Reid laughed and ran down the cliff to the forest behind them.
