NOT A NEW CHAPTER
To anybody who got their hopes up about this being a new chapter, sorry about that, but I just wanted to get this out for the few that still almost religiously follow this story's sporadic updates. To not waste your time, I'll try and keep this short.
I've fallen ill with… something. As of now, even with blood work, x-rays, etc. it's unknown what the cause is, but I've been spending the majority of this and last month in and out of ER rooms. It was semi manageable for a while, but in recent weeks, it has gotten to a point where it's interfering with my ability to even function normally.
This has always been a hobby, something that I work on the few times a month my extremely busy schedule allows me some semblance of free time. This sudden affliction has not only ripped into my free time, but my career as well, with how much of my life it's taken up in recent weeks. And as much as I do enjoy writing this story, I simply can't work on it in my current state.
So this story, at least for now, is going to be shelved.
I can't really say when I'll be able to come back, but until this is sorted out, progress is all but halted.
Now this isn't to say I'm abandoning this fic, and hopefully I won't have to. Depending on how things develop in the coming months, I'll hopefully be able to release another update on the status of this story, and whether or not I'll be able to return to this story, or be forced to put it into hiatus.
So to the few that still follow this story even through my god awful upload schedule, I appreciate that you stuck around through this writing journey. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, I genuinely thank all of you. I would not have stuck to this mess of a story for over a year if it weren't for you guys continuing to encourage me through the reviews and DM's that you've all so generously taken time out of your days to send to me so far. It means the world to me.
Hopefully, I'll see you all in the next chapter.
