"Ruby, Yang wake up!" Said Robin as she g walked over to her sisters bed to wake them up when suddenly.

*WHACK*

A right fist came swinging in causing Robin to stumble back a bit as she was surprised since she just shook Yang and that was her response

"Don't ...touch ...my... hair." Said Yang in her sleep while Ruby had just woken up pulling out a whistle from her drawer. "It's fine Robin, I got this covered,also cover your ears for a moment!" Robin did as Ruby commanded and covered her ears as Ruby blew hard into the whistle causing Yang to jolt awake. "Gah Rubes why did you do that"

"You punched Robin"

Immediately Yang hugged Robin while apologizing and promising she would never do it again while Robin just returned the hugged and said she forgave Yang and she had nothing to be sorry for.

The trio went down to the kitchen where Taiyang was and ate together happily as Robin went to wash plates after all was said and done. "Let's go see moms grave now everyone" said Taiyang as everyone nodded and went to the grave of Summer Rose

Ruby began talking first and just relayed everything that had transpired to him her mom. She started by saying how much she missed her and that school is going well and how amazing her new big sister was and how much she loved her with all her heart. Yang just said she loved her mom and that she will always care for both Ruby and Robin as they both mean very much as she respects Robin a lot. Robin couldn't help but smile at how much Ruby and Yang appreciated her because she never considered herself the many great things Ruby had described her as since in Ohara she was always being called names by the other kids and belittled by her aunts and other adults which made Robin all the more grateful that she had a very deep and loving younger sisters that never once shown any sign of ingratitude.

Finally it was Robin's turn to speak "Ms. Rose I am eternally grateful to you and you're daughters for how much they took care of me and I'm also grateful to Taiyang for welcoming me into his family when I thought I would never have a family again so now I have two extraordinary sisters and a father I wouldn't trade for anything else in the world." She finished as now at last but not certainly not least Taiyang spoke to Summer.

"I'm forever grateful for the endless amounts of joy and love you shared with me and how you helped me through my darkest moment *begins tearing up* it's been tough without you, but I've learned how to push past it thanks to my newly adopted daughter who rescued both of ours taught me that my responsibility to my kids doesn't go away just because I was grieving and I am sorry for not realizing that sooner. I hope you're resting well cause I promise not to fail our daughters again." Tai says with conviction as now he has the three greatest daughters who he cherishes with all his heart.

Robin just watched silently as her sisters and adoptive dad spoke their words to summer and couldn't really shed tears as she never knew her but understood how much they meant to Ruby and Yang since Tai talked about her in detail the night before. Robin could also understand since the words "Thus kindly I scatter" holds a special meaning behind it saying that she passed away in a conflict having to relate to a huntress mission. Robin also noticed that Yang wasn't saying anything so she went to talk to her. "Yang is something bothering you" the response was something Robin didn't agree with.

"It's nothing Robin."

"It's obvious that it isn't nothing since you're not saying anything to Summer rose so that means you're thinking about Raven again, but you loved summer rose too didn't you."

"Yeah she was super mom, baker of cookies and slayer of giant monsters, she was very happy to cook Ruby cookies so that's why Ruby always remembered her mom every time she ate them." "Well then just say so since there's no reason not to and you made mistakes sure but there's no reason to live those mistakes forever."

Yang could tell that Robin was serious so she also went to say her piece. Needless to say she got emotional and hugged Robin as she cried onto Robin's sleeve while Robin returned the embrace and patted her head gently.

"Robin get over hear please" Taiyang called out to her where he was standing directly in front of Summer's grave. Robin made her way over when suddenly Taiyang placed his right hand over her head and began chant in a low tone.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee."

A midnight blue energy began to surge through Robin as she look at herself glow from head to toe surprised. Ruby and Yang looked on purely astonished at what was happening to Robin while Tai could only stand there bewildered at just how much aura Robin had underneath like if it were a Tsunami threatening to silently destroy everything in its path.

Robin closed her eyes so she could get a feel for the new energy coursing through out her entire body and to turn it off and asked Tai what that was about.

"That was you're aura I just unlocked since your the oldest and the most mature daughter-in-law I've ever had the pleasure of having. Usually this gets passed on to kids who reach the age of ten but I trust you enough with this and in time, you could even discover your own semblance." Tai said to Robin as he went and hugged her. Robin was very honoured as she never thought she would be acknowledged to that level. "Father, could you train me to use my aura so that I can protect the ones I hold deer to me." Beseeched Robin because this power she felt surging within her felt incredibly invigorating.

"For sure Robin since I'm sure you will only be using it for good. Tai responded back with joy.

Bonding Winds - Monster hunter stories 2 ost

Ruby and Yang both tackled Robin but she turned her aura back on and didn't even budge showing just how much more sturdier she had. They were both lifted off the ground and being spun around the grass as Robin kept a firm and gentle grip on them and giggled as she was so amazed at the possibilities she could achieve with this power as she set them down and told everyone that tomorrow she would like to train with Tai her new dad. Robin truly felt happy to be learning new things more than ever before and truly it felt like a new beginning was now awaiting her!

Back inside the house...

Everyone went to bed to their own beds and Robin could just sleep away peacefully by herself without being disturbed by the constant nightmares of what happened at Ohara and could sleep with a smile on her face in what felt like forever. The future indeed was looking bright for Robin and she couldn't be more grateful to found herself in such a loving family that was ready to accept her without hesitation and now in what seemed like a far off dream.

A/N: I am sorry to be gone for so long but now that I'm back things are slightly different I will be looking for work and studying to be able to drive.
