Season 1: Episode 6

Beth remained tense, on edge. She was at school, still trying to process how things could have gone so horribly wrong. She had begun her recovery and things had been going well, she'd come back to school and despite the awkwardness and danger of being overwhelmed she'd managed, thanks especially to her friends. But now this, the whispers had started up again, more than a few glances sent her way, but she understood why and what the whispers were about. Laurel's disappearance.

'God, how could this have happened, it's like...like what happened to me…' She thought and realized. 'No, that, that can't be. It's just a coincidence, right…'

She really wanted that to be the case, but the similarities that were beginning to appear between what happened to her and what was going on now with Laurel were too much to ignore. She shuddered and swallowed, trying to control herself, she was in class after all. But she could hear the whispers around her, others were noticing it too, the similarities in the disappearances, their wondering about what could be happening to Laurel.

'That's, it's got to be exactly whatever happened to me when I was kidnapped...urgh why can't I remember, this has to be important, it could help find Laurel…' She thought frantically.

"Beth Greene."

She started and looked up to see Ms. Espinosa standing in front of her, looking worried and that was when Beth realized, to her great embarrassment, that everyone was staring, she had been having a breakdown.

Face flushing she bit her lip.

"I...sorry, I'm…"

Ms. Espinosa shook her head. "Don't be sorry. It's clear this has affected you. You should go home, rest up."
"But-"

"Please, for your sake." Ms. Espinosa insisted.

Beth blushed harder but did so and gathered her things, leaving the classroom as Ms. Espinosa called the Principal's office to inform them while Beth left and headed for home. Brian couldn't help but watch her go, feeling greatly concerned and after class he ended up meeting up with most of the other boys in the corridor, Ron being the only exception.

"Dude, you okay?" Jamie asked at once, noticing Brian's expression.

Andrew, Carl and Mikey turned their attention to Brian too, realizing Jamie was right, Brian's worried expression was all too visible.

"Huh, oh, I...I'm just worried about Beth." He said.

"Beth?" Carl asked.

Brian nodded. "Yeah, she had to go home, everything that's happened with Laurel...it's overwhelmed her and she had a breakdown in class. She's been sent home."

"Dude...that's terrible." Andrew gasped. "I hope she'll be alright."

The other boys nodded and offered their support as best they could, much to Brian's relief. He considered what to do, hoping to get some means to help Beth.

"Ron, what the hell?" Enid snapped.

Ron glared as she pushed him off her.

"C'mon, you know you-"

"Don't even go there." Enid growled. "I told you that I wasn't ready for this."

Ron shook his head. "And I told you know this teasing has gone too far."

"Are you stupid or just deliberately ignoring the fact I'm NOT teasing. I've told you I'm not ready and that's that." Enid told him.

Before she could say anything else Ron had her up against the wall, roughly kissing her, one hand wandering to begin rubbing her inner thighs. She shoved him off however and delivered a hard punch to his gut.

"The fuck-" Ron choked out as he doubled over.

"I said no." She growled at him. "You know what, this is ridiculous, it's clear you just don't get it. Enough is enough. We're done."

"You what!?"

"You heard me, we're no longer together." She told him firmly.

With that she pushed past him and began to walk away.

"You can't break up with me, you know that!" Ron raged. "You're mine, you can't leave, you can't break up without my say so!"

Enid rolled her eyes and ignored his stupid misogynistic ranting. Meanwhile Ron was outraged that this had happened, he couldn't believe this was happening to him, it wasn't right. Enid was his and he had made that clear, but now she thought she could do this to him, to him that was just unacceptable.

Enid had to admit that while feeling better about the issues around Ron now that they had broken up, she was nervous. Luckily that faded out once she reached the lunch table with her group, glad she'd got there first.

"Enid, whoa...what happened to you?" Sophia gasped upon seeing her.

The others turned and saw her dishevelled state and Enid sighed.

"Ron happened." She admitted. "But I took care of it, I'm finished with him."

That startled the others.

"Wait, you broke up with him?" Eliza asked.

She nodded and they all listened in dawning horror as she revealed everything that happened with Ron barely ten minutes ago.

"Holy shit." Brian gasped.

Carl glared. "That asshole, I swear-"

The others were all clearly angry at Ron and Enid knew that now they faced another problem on top of everything that was going on now, wondering what Ron would do next.

With gym as their final class for the day, Jamie and Carl found themselves in a somewhat awkward situation, namely when changing for class and of course, due to their gym uniforms having shorts, they kept subtly glancing at each other, much to their surprise and confusion.

'What is wrong with me?' Jamie wondered. 'I...I shouldn't be doing things like that, but wow...Carl's skin is so pale it...man, his legs…'

He realized suddenly what he was thinking and quickly pushed the thoughts away. But what he didn't realize was that Carl was also watching him in the same way.

'God, I can't believe this, it feels so, so...He looks so good, especially in his gym uniform. I wish I could, whoa. What am I doing? This is crazy and urgh, those punks again, really.' Carl mused before becoming disgusted.

For sure enough the usual bullies that always gave him a hard time for being the cop's son and of course Jamie, Mikey and Andrew for being nerds. He glared at their approach, making it quite clear that he wasn't going to put up with their nonsense. They merely smirked but stalked off, so Carl felt hopeful that they got the message and he joined his friends for the class.

With class finally over for the day, Carl and Jamie had to spend a little extra time helping the gym teacher so they were only just getting out the showers, having dried off, while everyone else had already left. Or so it seemed for both boys, trying not to look at each other, soon noticed a problem.

"What the..my clothes?" Carl gasped.

Jamie froze and blinked. "M-mine too. HEY!"

They both blushed and spun around, trying to cover themselves as their towels were pulled away. They saw the bullies again, laughing at them as they ran off and closed the locker room.

"No, there's, there's nothing else that-" Jamie gasped.

Carl grimaced, realizing the situation, they were trapped, naked and the bullies had clearly done this deliberately, to taunt them. While they didn't know about the boys thoughts about each other; they had frequently taunted them about being 'so in love with each other' and this was clearly another taunt at that.

"Urgh, this can't be happening." Carl mumbled, blushing. 'God, Jamie, I, this isn't...oh please, no don't think like that.'

'Not the time, not the time Jamie, don't...oh but…' Jamie tried to control himself.

But he couldn't help but glance and get an eyeful of Carl's ass. They weren't sure how long they were trapped in that awkward moment, but then they heard the knocks at the door and to their relief, familiar voices called out.

"Jamie, Carl, you in there?" Andrew called out.

Then Mikey's voice. "Please tell us you're okay dude?"

"Yeah, we're...we're okay." Carl replied.

Jamie grimaced. "We're kinda well, stuck...our clothes."

"Yeah, we heard those creeps laughing about it." Mikey grumbled.

Andrew then explained. "We found your clothes, it's okay."

Relief flooding them they partly opened the door and Andrew passed their clothes through, allowing both boys to get dressed and leave with their friends, both embarrassed but relieved that their unfortunate encounter ended rather well, despite the lingering feelings it had left them.
