Sorry everyone, this isn't an update but an emergency announcement. First off, I wanna thank the anonymous person who gave me the heads up, so whoever you are, thank you so much for telling me. Anyway, here goes:
MY STORY HAS BEEN PLAGARIZED
An author by the name of WOKELAND has uploaded my work into their account without my knowledge/permission. They literally only changed a few things like the main character's name from Reuben to Royce, and that's pretty much it. It's in Spanish though, so you'll have to use Google Translate to read, but it's pretty much in verbatim.
I've tried to get into contact with them, even left a review, but they have not responded at all. I've even contacted his reviewers to let them know what's going on, but that's pretty much it. I'm sorry you all have to look at this with anticipation only to see that it's nothing more but a meeting to let everyone know what's going on (again, thank you anon).
For anyone wondering what's gonna happen in the future, I'm thinking of deleting my account here and switching all my stories to be posted on AO3. This place is kind of dying (speaking as a survivor of the good old Quizilla site before it's imminent death and crash). So if anyone wants to find me, I'll be on my AO3 account posting stories. I have yet to post LILAB stories, but eventually I will.
One more thing on the topic of plagiarism. Looking at their other "work" on their account, I'm beginning to suspect my story isn't the only one they've also stolen, so if anyone finds something familiar, notify the original creator what's going on. Just please report the story in the mean time, that's all I ask right now.
