Master Fighter Battles 2 Chapter 9 Regroup and New Plan

(Down below, Snorlax and the Five Masters stealthily sneak down the streets).

Blaziken: This way. (They stop at the corner leading to Crown City Jail. Blaziken peers round the corner. The two Pokémon guarding the door hear the howl and leap off. The warriors quickly enter the jail, Snorlax tumbling through. The place is empty, save for Tyranitar and Feraligatr still in their cell).

Tyranitar: You! What did you do? Itis chaos up there! What happened to stopping Genesect? (The Five Masters stare at Snorlax also curious about this).

Infernape: Yes.

Snorlax: Hey guys, come on. Give me a little credit! Because I meant for Him to get away! Because, uh... it was a trick, was a plot... and I thought I might... figure out His plot... more... (The Five Masters continue to stare).

Buzzwole: That makes no sense.

Snorlax: What do you mean... sure it does! (Blaziken steps up to Snorlax, making Him fall backwards on His rear).

Blaziken: Snorlax, the truth. You had Genesect. What happened?

Snorlax: What are you talking about, I do not know what you are talking about? Well, I mean, okay, He caught me off guard! (Blaziken kneels to face Snorlax eye to eye).

Blaziken: The truth. (Silence as they stare at each other. Snorlax opens His mouth... and closes it again).

Blaziken: Fine. (Blaziken stands up). They will keep you far from danger. (Blaziken gestures to Tyranitar and Feraligatr).

Feraligatr: Realfar. (Feraligatr Chuckles. Snorlax glances at them then turns back to Blaziken).

Snorlax: What?

Blaziken: Youare staying here. (Blaziken starts to walk away. Snorlax gets up and chases after Blaziken).

Snorlax: W-w-wait! Because I need to go ba- (Blaziken whirls round to face Snorlax. A hush falls over the room. The Five Masters look on in fear. Snorlax stares at Blaziken).

Blaziken: You're staying here!

Snorlax: Iam going... and you cannot stop me! (Snorlax tries to walk past Blaziken, but Blaziken grabs His arm and twists Snorlax around sending him back over to Feraligatr and Tyranitar. Snorlax turns back to Blaziken, caught off-guard).Okay... So, I was not ready that time.

Dragonair: Guys, do not! (Blaziken moves into a Fighting stance).

Blaziken: Ready. (Snorlax points to the ceiling as He approaches).

Snorlax: Look! (Blaziken does not fall for it- Blaziken grabs Snorlax as He tries to slip past and tosses Snorlax high into the air. Snorlax lands on the other side of the room, and spins on His head as Snorlax leaps back to His feet, facing the wrong way. Yelling in frustration, Snorlax rushes back at Blaziken. Feraligatr visibly winces as Blaziken counters and sends Snorlax sliding back towards His and Tyranitar's cell).

Dragonair: Stay down.

Snorlax: I need to get to Him!

Blaziken: Then tell me why! (Snorlax hesitates... and gives in).

Snorlax: He was there... okay?! That Genesect was there the last time I saw my parents! He knows what happened... where I came from... who I am... (Blaziken looks at Snorlax, Blaziken's anger fading to a sympathetic look. Snorlax gets to His feet).Look, Iam going... because I need to know... the hardcore cannot understand. (Snorlax walks towards the exit. Blaziken scowls at Snorlax's remark. Blaziken lunges...).

Dragonair: Blaziken, NO! (...and hugs Snorlax. Snorlax's eyes widen. The Five Masters stare. Corviknight's beak drops in shock. As Corviknight has never seen Blaziken Hug anyone ever before).

Blaziken: The hardcore do understand. (Blaziken releases Snorlax but keeps A paw on Snorlax's shoulder). But I cannot watch my friend lose in that way. Weare going. (Blaziken walks away, moving past the Five).

Corviknight: Hey, uh... likely you Cannot watch melose in that way...

Blaziken: Stop being a wimp.

Infernape: And... She is back. (Snorlax watches silently as the Five Masters leave. Then Tyranitar Says Sighing at Snorlax).

Tyranitar: Do not worry, kid... youare better off here. (Snorlax looks on in Wonder, thinking about what he should do now while heeding Tyranitar's Words).
