Gwg: This is my first KH story since I've never really finished the first game (stuck on Riku at Hallow Bastion) and I bought the KH: CoM (almost done, just gotta beat Axel for the last time). This is a bit AU, so stick with me!
Summary: "Understand that I am sorry, Sora, for causing you so much pain. I betrayed you for no reason, and now I want to be with you. Help me fight the darkness, help me find my light."
Kingdom Hearts: Forgotten Memories
Prologue
The End
His pain was fresh, but his mind was filled with different thoughts. He had just sealed one of his best friends and King Mickey behind the door of darkness. He was still unable to believe that he had done such a thing to someone who had always been there for him. But he betrayed me... he tried to think, but in the end it did no good.
Riku had been released from the darkness in the end. No longer was he the one who had fought Sora so many times during his journey to rid the worlds of the heartless. Sora had set out to find Kairi, and he had done so, but at the cost of losing Riku. Sora could still remember his life on Destiny Islands with his friends so long ago.
Now, he was the keybearer and the only one who could save the worlds. On his journey he had made many friends as well as foes, but Donald and Goofy had always been beside him. Said friends watched from afar, the sadness etched in Sora's eyes almost unbearable to them.
"We'll find them again, Sora, you can count on it."
Goofy stated, his voice holding more confidence that he truly felt. Sora only nodded, his hand reaching up to touch the new chain around his neck. It was one Riku had slipped to him during one of their first battles. He had never put it on until they had reached Hallow Bastion, and now he would never take it off.
"C'mon you two, let's go."
Donald quacked as he headed for the door. Goofy followed him slowly, looking back as Sora finally started after them. He would find Riku again, for he had something he needed to say.
Gwg: Short, but to the point. I don't own anything thus far, just the story. Anywho, please review! And until next time, ja ne.
