shitfic

And yet you're all the way here at 58? Why didn't you stop at Ch. 1? Weird.

Guest-

Why Is Jaune is Man Whore of Terrible Choice... He Knocked Raven and Neo.. who are not even decent choices of being mother figures.. Yet He Does Not Knock Up Winter..

They might be better mothers than you think. I mean, yeah, Raven abandoned Yang, and that can't be defended, but let's face it for Neo. . . You know as well as I do that RT is gonna try and redeem her to make her an anti-hero by the end of the next vol (if RT survives that long, anyway). Still, the most interesting part of this review... is your disappointment that eh didn't knock up Winter. I don't know why, but that really caught my eye.

Is he really stupid enough to sleep around without using protection... Honestly Why Should He Be Surprised That He Fathered Children He has no knowledge of... he's very irresponsible in this story when it Comes To Sex

Guest-

Jaune is stupid enough to Knocked Up Two criminals Like Neo and Raven...Yet Poor Winter didn't get Knocked up.

Ignoring taste in women, Jaune is irresponsible not even Knowing That He Fathered Some Children.

I would not be surprised if He Fathered more Children without knowing.

That tends to happen when you are a Man Whore... the idiot can't even keep track of who he Slept with and potentially impregnated... a woman that keeps her pregnancy a secret from you and Raise Your Child is not trustworthy Woman... Of Course Jaune Is An Idiot For Sleeping Around and Sleeping With A Criminal. Lol

Your Story Has Decent Concept.. but your story is extremely lacking when it comes to the realism of Realtionships and Sex... a responsible father would not to bring his child into the world just be raised by irresponsible people...You Would Think he would be more careful on who he has Sex With... Even With Protection Woman Can Pop a Hole In Your Condom or Lie about It Being A Safe For Sex.

For crying out loud if This A Harem Story and He Simply Married them or Make sure he Sleeps With Woman Who He Knows Will Not Ghost Him.. He At Least Not Be Clueless About Their Preganacy.

But in Simple Terms Do not Sleep Around. Especially with strangers... untrustworthy and morally loose Strangers.

Now If Jaune had a morality similar to Yujiro From Baki who want to produce Offspring strong enough to give him a challenge, Then Him Sleeping Around to produce strong offspring would Be Realistic.. but i still feel even a morally Grey or Somewhat Evil Jaune would still value family and keep tabs on His Kids.

Someone else disappointed he didn't have a child with Winter. Or are you the same person? Aw, whatever. Even though this review has a lot of valid complaints and points to make, the bit about Winter still catches my eye. Though I could easily make an Schnee-Arc, I thought that Jaune shouldn't get her pregnant. He already knocked up, Raven, Neo, and of course, Ruby. I can't give him all the best girls of the series. Or rather, I shouldn't. Not even Zeus got all the best women in Greek Mythology pregnant.

I feel like you're describing modern America when it comes to Jaune's sex life.

Ooh, Yujiro Hanma. Aren't you a well learned fellow of the arts.

Yeah, he would keep tabs on his kids, but like you constantly said, Jaune's a bit of an idiot. He's a bit like Goku: a genius in combat, and idiot in practically everything else. Where Goku's fatal flaw is his love of battle, Jaune's fatal flaw is his trusting nature. Don't forget, in this world, Neo was his partner, and they got even closer after Salem's defeat. It's why Jaune genuinely fell in love with her and slept with her, and why his heart was broken when she ghosted him.

Raven... just plain seduced him. Yeah, I'm a Raven simp, she's hot, and she gets what she wants. Jaune never stood a chance against her.

Jim shot at Thulhus trying to attack some soldiers from behind before Morphing his gun into a knife, stabbing a Thulhu behind him. As that was going on, Nimueh stabbed her hand through the head of a Thulhu before ripping her hand out and swinging it to make it slash through a Thulhu behind her.

Trident then stabbed a Thulhu through the head before looking around. He then realized it. Soon, the others did as well.

There were no more Thulhus.

Trident looked towards his kingdom to see the defenses lowered, a sign that there were no more threats nearby. He gave a victory roar as he raised his trident, the surviving soldiers following their king's lead.

"Not a moment too soon," Nimueh went.

When Jim looked at her, his eyes widened as he swam over to her, signing to her: YOU'RE TOTALLY SEE-THROUGH NOW

"Yeah. I'm out of Aura."

CAN I GIVE YOU SOME OF MINE?

"Not unless you want to die. I'm the most parasitic of the Relics, Jimbo. I don't just suck Aura. I also suck lifeforce. The Arcs are the only ones with more than enough Aura to supply me." Jim looked nervous. "Don't worry. As long as you don't try to use my power, I'm just a normal, unbreakable sword. Anyone can at least carry me. Just make sure my idiot husband is alright, okay?" Jim gave a thumbs up, making Nimueh smile. "Thank you," she said before her image totally vanished, leaving only the Sword of Destruction behind.

Jim grabbed it before it could float to the floor.

Relic in hand, and getting low on oxygen anyway, Jim began to swim back to the palace.

He was stopped by the sound of a roar.

He and everyone else looked in the direction of the roar.

'Oh, crap. That's where Jaune is,' Jim thought.

Trident tightly gripped his spear. 'Forgive me, old friend, but I need to care for my people before outsiders, even you.' Trident took a deep breath. "BACK TO THE PALACE! RAISE THE DEFENSES AND CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES! THERE HAVE BEEN ENOUGH FALLEN HEROES THIS DAY!"

"SIR, YES, SIR!"

Jim gritted his teeth before reluctantly swimming back to the palace. 'Please be alright, Jaune.'

Earlier.

WHO DARES ATTEMPT TO AWAKEN A GOD?

A KING, Jaune responded.

I KNOW YOU. YOU ARE THE TRAITOR. YOU WERE THOUGHT TO BE OUR LEADER, YET YOU REJECTED THAT HONOR IN ORDER TO PROTECT HUMANITY.

IT'S ACTUALLY MY JOB TO PROTECT ALL OF REMNANT.

THAT MATTERS NOT TO ME. WHY HAVE YOU DISTURBED MY SLUMBER?

TO ASK FOR HELP.

The other voice chuckled. AND WHY SHOULD I HELP YOU?

OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT I'M YOUR KING?

WHAT IS A KING TO A GOD?

WHAT IS A GOD TO ONE WHO CHALLENGES THEM?

The voice chuckled again. HOW BRAVE OF YOU. TELL ME, YOUR MAJESTY, WHAT IS STOPPING ME FROM EATING YOU WHOLE?

HONESTLY... NOTHING.

HOO?

I'M NOT STRONGER THAN YOU... YET. I CAN'T BEAT YOU, I CAN'T KILL YOU, AND I SURE AS HELL CAN'T CONQUER YOU AS I AM NOW. HONESTLY, THIS WOULD BE YOUR BEST CHANCE TO MAKE SURE I NEVER MAKE YOU SERVE ME.

INTERESTING. YOU'RE GIVING ME MORE REASON TO KILL YOU.

BUT I'M ALSO GIVING YOU A CHANCE.

TO DO WHAT?

TO PROVE WHAT YOU ARE: THE GREATEST OF THE FOUR LEGENDARY BEASTS OF THE DEEP.

The voice didn't respond.

YOU CAN SENSE IT, CAN'T YOU? THE GRAND KING THULHU APPROACHING US?

I CAN.

ALL FOUR BEASTS ARE FEARED, BUT YOU TWO ARE THE ONES WITH THE DARKEST OF LEGENDS. THE MOST TERRIFYING OF TALES. FOR YEARS, RESEARCHERS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DEVELOP WAYS TO COUNTERACT YOUR APPEARANCES SHOULD EITHER OF YOU BE PROVEN TRUE. WE HAVE YET TO DEVELOP SUCH A METHOD. WE HAVE TROUBLE WITH AN AVERAGE LEVIATHAN.

YOU STRUGGLE WITH MY LESSERS, AND YET HOPE TO BEST ME?

YES. BUT THAT'S ONLY TRUE BECAUSE YOU'RE SUPPOSEDLY THE BEST.

SUPPOSEDLY, the voice asked with quiet anger.

WE HAVEN'T JUST BEEN RESEARCHING HOW TO BEST YOU. WE'VE BEEN RESEARCHING WHICH OF YOU IS THE GREATER THREAT. WHICH IS THE DEADLIER MONSTER. AFTER YEARS OF SPECULATION, FOUR OUT OF FIVE SCIENTISTS AGREE THAT THE GRAND KING THULHU IS THE GREATER THREAT BETWEEN YOU TWO.

WHAT, the voice asked even angrier than before.

YOU CAN KILL ME NOW IF YOU WANT, BUT I'M ALSO GIVING YOU A CHANCE. A CHANCE TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE THE GREATEST OF THE FOUR. SO, WHAT WILL IT BE: WILL YOU KILL ME HERE AND NOW AND TAKE THE GRAND KING THULHU'S KILL... OR WILL YOU GIVE IT EVEN WORSE HUMILIATION BY BESTING IT?

Silence.

The Grand King Thulhu reached Jaune. It looked down, its eyes glowing with enough ferocity to turn the ocean floor red. Then, it raised its hand and swung down, the appendage rushing down at such forces that Jaune would undoubtedly be turned into a stain on the ocean floor, armor be damned.

Soheks laughed at the sight. "DIE, ARC! VENGEANCE FOR MY BABY GIRLS IS NOW MINE!"

Her smile instantly went away when a massive clawed arm caught the Thulhu's.

Then, the rock formation Jaune was on began to move, cracks forming. When certain rocks fell off the side, massive red eyes opened. Then, what looked like a long rock formation finally began to stand. Jaune was holding onto it as it rose, rocks falling off of the awakened giant.

Soheks's eyes widened in shock and horror at what it was. "No. It can't be. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WHY WAS THAT HERE?!"

The Grimm was as tall as the Thulhu, had a reptilian snout that curled up to reveal its fangs, and looked to be even more muscular than the Thulhu. The rocks fell off to reveal a back full of bone plates, leading to a tail long enough to be used as a whip. The massive lizard Grimm then roared with enough power to shake the very ocean, showing off its awesome power.

Soheks growled, furious at what Jaune had just awakened.

"A God Leviathan."

The God Leviathan threw away the Grand King Thulhu's arm before making it skid away with a swing of its tail. When the Thulhu stopped, Jaune realized the beast was slouching. When the creature stood to its full height, Jaune saw that the Grimm stood a full head taller than the God Leviathan, making the monster even taller than Mt. Ozma. Jaune guessed that the top of its head was just barely below the surface of the sea.

The King Thulhu then extended its wings, an act that caused whirlpools to form, some of them trying sucking Jaune in, the man holding onto the massive lizard. The Leviathan canceled out the whirlpools by swinging its large forearms, creating water blades that clashed and destroyed the whirlpools, causing explosions of water on the sea surface.

The two god-class Grimm glared at one another before they roared at each other, the force of their roars literally splitting the sea between them. When they stopped, the sea above became a maelstrom.

The massive Thulhu then began to inhale, water rushing into its maw so quickly, that the largest whirlpool yet appeared atop the sea. Meanwhile, the Leviathan was charging. Jaune looked back to see its dorsal scales glowing, light rushing up its back all the way to its head. Then, when the Thulhu stopped inhaling, the lights on the dorsal scales ceased.

Then, the Thulhu unleashed a torrent of water that sliced through the sea with its impossible power. That power would have obliterated Jaune. However, the Leviathan unleashed its attack as well, a blindingly bright beam of flame blasting out of its mouth and rushing through the water like it wasn't even there. Water and fire clashed with such force that it expelled all surrounding water, creating an arena within the sea for the two titans, their beams evenly matched.

Meanwhile, moments earlier before the battle between two of the most powerful recorded Grimm thus far.

"Um, Ms. Lavender, are you sure we should be doing this," Laurance asked as he shakily held his camera.

"Oh, grow a pair, Laurance. It's just some bad weather," she said as she steered the boat.

"But, ma'am, what is Jaune Arc isn't even out here?"

"You doubt my Semblance," she asked in a tone that terrified the man.

"NO, MA'AM!"

"Then quit your bitching! I had to pay one hell of a fine, bribe one of the few corrupt officials left in New Mantle AND make one hell of a deal with that Vaccuan to get this rust bucket! I am getting my footage of Jaune Arc if I have to spear my way out of the gut of a Mobius to do so! And if I can't do that, then at least record the weather!"

"What?!"

"DID I STUTTER?! START FILMING!"

"Y-YES, MA'AM," Laurance said as he held up the camera.

"Greetings, people of Remnant! This is Amanda Lavender back from her unscheduled hiatus! As you can see, me and my brave cameraman are still searching for the Vale Knight and his family. Sources indicate that the legendary hero is somewhere out in the Vaccuan sea, where there seems to be a weather anomaly. Behold," she said as she looked out the window, Laurance doing the same.

The camera was showing thundering clouds spitting lightning, rain falling down in sheets, and waves rushing.

"According to weather reports, there were no signs of developing hurricanes or typhoons, so what could be causing such a freak storm in the middle of the ocean? If you ask this reporter, it has something to do with Jaune Arc himself. Wherever that man goes, chaos seems to follow. It's only a matter of time before-"

"MS. LAVENDER, PORT SIDE," Laurance said as he pointed the camera.

"TWO WHIRLPOOLS?! INCREDIBLE! SUCH ANOMALIES ARE INCREDIBLY RARE! ONLY WITH AMANDA LAVENDER COULD YOU SEE SUCH-! . . . By the gods. Laurance, zoom in! ZOOM IN!"

Laurance did just that, only to scream. "MA'AM, PLEASE TELL ME THAT ISN'T A GRIMM!"

"Nope. THAT'S A GRIMM'S HEAD! AND I CAN SEE OUTLINES OF WINGS! WHATEVER WE'RE SEEING IS ABSOLUTELY HUGE!" The boat began to rock, making the passengers stumble before falling, the camera facing towards Lavender when it was dropped. "Ow," she said as she rubbed her head, getting up along with the camera.

"Oh... my... gods," Amanda said, the camera pointing towards the ground. "Laurance, are you getting this? . . . LAURANCE!"

"I'M SORRY, MA'AM!" The camera was then lifted, showing that the boat was sent far from the massive Grimm... as well as the epic beam clash now occurring.

"Ladies and gentlemen, don't change your screens. What you are seeing is real. This is historic. Confirmation that two of the most elusive Four Legendary Beasts of the Deep are real. And they're FIGHTING! A GRAND KING THULHU AND A GOD LEVIATHAN ARE BATTLING FOR SUPREMACY OVER THEY VERY OCEANS! YOU, VIEWERS AT HOME, ARE BEARING WITNESS TO A LEGEND IN THE MAKING! Wait, what's that on the Leviathan's shoulder?"

"Huh," Laurnace went.

"Zoom in on the Leviathan's left shoulder."

Laurance did just that. "It's a man?"

"That's some pretty gothic armor he's got on. I think the cape might be a bit... no, scratch that. He makes it work. But who is that and how is he riding on the shoulder of a legendary Grimm?"

"AAAAAARRRRRCCC!" The two looked towards the voice, seeing an Octopus Faunus on the shoulder of the grand King Thulhu. "WHY WON'T YOU DIE?!"

"Did she just-" Laurnace began.

"PEOPLE OF REMNANT, YOU JUST HEARD IT HERE AND NOW! THE MAN IN THE ARMOR, THE MAN RIDING THE LEVIATHAN, THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE BETWEEN GODS, IS NONE OTHER THAN OUR VERY OWN JAUNE ARC! WEARING BRAND NEW ARMOR, OUR WORLD'S GREATEST HUNTSMAN IS UP AGAINST TWO LEGENDS THAT EACH ARE SAID TO NEED ENTIRE KINGDOMS TO DEFEAT! HOW WILL THE VALE KNIGHT GET THROUGH THIS?! STAY TUNED TO SEE THIS LEGENDARY ENCOUNTER," Amanda went excitedly.

Meanwhile, in New Mantle.

Winter had just finished most of her duties for the day. Since New Mantle was mostly at peace these days, she decided to watch the international news while sipping some coffee. By pure chance, she found Lavender's channel.

The moment she saw the Grand King Thulhu fighting the God Leviathan, her coffee was stuck in her mouth, the beauty unable to swallow. Then, when she saw Jaune on the shoulder of the Leviathan, she spat her coffee out.

In the SDC CEO office, Ruby, who had no missions this day, was bringing Weiss her coffee while her wife was watching the international news. When Lavender's story came up, Weiss's jaw dropped as she dropped her pen, Ruby losing her grip on the coffee, letting it fall to the ground.

In Vale, in the Head Mistress office, Glynda was doing paperwork when Oobleck rushed in. "GLYNDA, TURN ON THE INTERNATIONAL NEWS!"

"What? Why?"

"IT INVOLVES JAUNE!"

She immediately grabbed her remote and pushed some buttons, a screen appearing and showing the story. Glynda's eyes widened before she dropped the remote.

Finally, in Vacuo, Sun and Neptune were at their team's favorite ramen shop when the TV showed the story. Sun's jaw dropped, his ramen spilling out of his mouth as Neptune was spitting out a stream of his drink in Sun's face as they saw the feature.

"Dude..." Neptune said to Sun as he still stared in shock with his some of the drink dripping off his chin

"Uh?" Sun went with his jaw still dropped

"Is Jaune riding a freakin' God Leviathan while fighting a Grand King Thulhu?'

"Uh-huh."

''Are we... less cool than he is?''

"Uh-huh."

''. . . You think Argent will still like us?''

". . . Ah."

''Crap.''

Meanwhile, in the Ren household.

Nora screamed her head off. "WHY IS JAUNE FIGHTING A LEGENDARY GRIMM THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A CAMP HORROR STORY?! WHERE'S MY ARIE?!"

"Nora, you need to calm down," Ren went, though he looked worried himself.

"CALM DOWN?! REN, OUR LEADER IS FIGHTING A KINGDOM-LEVEL THREAT! THAT THING IS ON THE SAME LEVEL AS THE GRIMM ARMY THAT SALEM BROUGHT TO ATLAS! OH, GODS, MY BABY! MY ARIE'S IN DANGER! WHAT KIND OF GODMOTHER SITS AROUND AND DOES NOTHING WHILE HER FAMILY IS IN DANGER?!"

"MOM! I GOT ALL THE NECESSARY GEAR," Lyra said while holding a comically large bag with ammo, clothes, and food hanging out of it. Looking closely enough, you could even see swimsuits.

"THAT'S MY GIRL," Nora said with a thumbs up. "COME ON, REN! WE HAVE A FAMILY TO RESCUE!"

"Nora, we live in Vale. Even by car, it would take us days to reach Vacuo, let alone its sea. We'd never make it."

Nora's eyes widened. "Are you saying we can only sit and watch Jaune take on a legendary Grimm?"

Ren sighed, clenching his fists. "I'm afraid so."

Nora began to tear up before she sniffled. She then reluctantly sat down, eyes glued on the TV, her husband and daughter joining her on the couch, all of them worried for the armored hero.

Meanwhile, Winter slammed her fist on a big red button, an alarm blaring in the tower.

"FLEET OMEGA, PREPARE FOR IMMEDIATE DEPARTURE! THIS IS A CODE RED! REPEAT! CODE RED! BE READY TO DEPART IN T-MINUS FIVE! NO EXCUSES! ANYONE LAGGING ANSWERS TO ME! BE READY TO DEPART!" Winter then stormed over towards a closet and hurriedly punched in the code, the doors splitting open to reveal a combat uniform, which Winter quickly changed into before heading towards the docking bay.

'I'm going to kill him. I'm going to kill him! I AM GOING TO KILL HIM! YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK ONE OF THESE DAYS, ARC,' Winter internally screamed.

As soon as she entered the bay, she saw a familiar red spiral. Ruby then appeared out of it, sliding to a halt in front of the general. "Are we ready to depart," the armed Huntress asked.

"Where's Weiss?"

Ruby looked behind her, realizing she left her wife behind. "Dammit," she hissed.

"That doesn't matter right now! If she's not here, she's not here! Prepare to take flight," Winter ordered as she walked towards the main airship.

"Ma'am, yes, ma'am," the soldiers went as they parted to let Winter enter first, Ruby walking behind her. When the last soldier entered, the ship immediately took off, followed by others.

Winter walked to the front of the deck before turning to look back at her soldiers. "Listen up, soldiers! We are entering Vacuan airspace! Under normal circumstances, we would need to request permission to enter in so much as a Bullhead, let alone a New Mantle airship armed for war, but this is no normal circumstance! We are preparing to battle a Grimm classified as a Kingdom Wide Threat! Not Town! Not Village! Kingdom! The highest level recorded for Grimm, especially a SINGLE Grimm! This will be one of the most difficult and dangerous missions yet! Tell me soldiers, are you prepared to dive into the jaws of Hell itself?!"

"MA'AM, YES, MA'AM!"

"Then be prepared. At ease." The soldiers then spoke among themselves, strategizing about the upcoming battle against two Legendary Grimm.

"Ruby?" She quickly appeared before the general. "I had your Titan prepared."

"I was hoping you would. Is it on the other airship?"

"It is. Just know that this will be difficult, even for you. We needed all twelve Titans to fight that Ice Dragon. Are you sure you're ready for this?"

"Winter, Jaune is fighting those monsters alone."

"I'm well awa-"

"And wherever he is, Argent isn't too far off."

Winter's eyes widened in realization.

"I will be damned before I let anything happen to my son. Nothing is going to keep me away from my baby boy," Ruby said with a blazing fire in her eye before walking away.

Winter watched her before sighing, smiling at the fellow mother. "Beware the wrath of a worried mother."

The beam struggle ended with an explosion. Out of the steam rushed the two Grimm at one another, claws clenching onto claws. As the two pushed each other back, the King Thulhu's tentacles shot toward the Leviathan. Many of them pierced into the reptile's neck, but it bit into the ones aimed at its face. The Leviathan then showed off its awesome strength by tossing the Thulhu away, the creature slamming into the ground before the water fell onto it.

The Leviathan didn't react when the water rushed over it, save for a single blink.

That blink was enough time for the Thulhu to rush at the Leviathan, grab it by the neck, and slam it into the ground with enough force to make the earth shake, tidal waves forming on the ocean.

"HANG ON," Amanda yelled as she steered the ship, riding the wave.

"MS. LAVENDER, CAN I PLEASE GO INSIDE THE SHIP?!"

"NO WAY, LAURANCE! KEEP FILMING!"

"BUT THE GRIMM ARE UNDERWATER!"

"THIS IS STILL THE NEWS REPORT OF THE DAMNED CENTURY! DON'T STOP RECORDING, EVEN IF IT KILLS YOU!"

"BUT MA'AM, I SOILED MYSELF!"

"WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN, DRENCHED WET WITH SALTWATER ALL THE WAY TO OUR UNDERWEAR! NO ONE CAN TELL IF YOU WET YOURSELF!"

"NO! I SHAT MY PANTS!"

"GROSS, BUT STILL DOESN'T MATTER! KEEP- HOLY SHIT!"

Before the ship was a massive tidal wave. Laurance was screaming his lungs out as Amanda steered the ship to safety, laughing her ass off like a lunatic. "IF I DON'T GET A PULITZER FOR THIS, THEN THE AWARDS ARE EVEN MORE RIGGED THAN RUMORED!"

"MOMMY!"

Beneath the water, where the two giant Grimm were fighting, the Thulhu held the Leviathan down before it screeched. Its sonic roar was actually visible, the force of the screech causing canyon-sized cracks in the ocean floor.

Jaune was somehow able to slip out of the sonic roar, swimming towards the Thulhu with swirling ice and magma in his hand. He was aiming for one of the monster's eyes, hoping to deal enough damage to pop the eye and give the Leviathan a chance to escape.

However, he was hit from behind by a massive icicle that smashed him into the ground. Jaune pushed himself out of the crater, the ice falling off of him before looking up to see Soheks floating above him, glaring down at him before raising her hand.

Above the witch's hand formed a spear made of violently swirling water. The spear then formed two more prongs, looking like Trident's spear. She then angrily threw the spear, the water rushing at Jaune at bullet speeds.

Jaune tried to dodge, but since he was underwater and has next to no underwater combat training, he was too slow. Slipping didn't help either. He was hit point-blank by the spear, being sent crashing further into the ground. Still, he blasted his way up to Soheks' level, checking himself out to see he didn't have a scratch.

'Damn, this armor is awesome. Still, that hurt like hell.' Jaune then coughed up some blood, his helm filtering it out. 'Can't take too many hits like that.'

Soheks then raised both of her hands and all of her tentacles, the same water spears forming above all of them.

"Aw, shit."

"DIE," she roared as she threw the spears at Jaune, who retaliated by forming his wings and shielding himself with them, taking the brunt of the attack.

As the Thulhu continuously roared down at the Leviathan, the legendary Grimm's eye shot open in defiance. It then reeled back its arm and stabbed into the Thulhu's arm. The Leviathan ripped its claws out of the appendage, planning to take the entire arm off. However, it only ripped off a chunk.

Yet, that chunk was enough to make the Thulhu stop roaring as it winced in pain, its arm buckling due to the weight. The loosened grip and falling Grimm gave the Leviathan its opening to escape out of the Thulhu's hold. It then bit the Thulhu's arm with enough force to make blood spew out of its wound before spinning around, taking the Thulhu on a ride.

The Leviathan slammed the Thulhu onto the ground three times before tossing it in a random direction. It then quickly charged its breath before blasting at the Thulhu on its third bounce, ending it skidding down the ocean floor.

Yet, despite all that, the Thulhu quickly jumped to its feet, spread its wings, and flapped them. That act created whirlpools rushing towards the Leviathan.

The mighty Grimm roared at the challenge before preparing its claws. It then gave two might swings, creating powerful water blades that rushed towards the approaching whirlpools. The forces of water crashed, creating powerful explosions.

"WHOA! WE COULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN THAT," Amanda said as she was steering, seeing the massive water explosion.

"I'm never going out to sea again," Laurance whimpered.

As the bubbles began to clear up, the Leviathan was surprised to have the Thulu's massive hand wrapped around its throat. It tried to unleash a Burning Blast, opening its mouth to unleash the beam, but the Thulhu muzzled its mouth shut with its tentacles. Then, it flew towards the sky.

As it flew, the Leviathan tried to swipe at it, but the Thulhu caught one of its arms before tightening its grip. The Leviathan gagged as it was feeling itself lose strength due to lack of air. It was growing weaker as they flew higher.

Then, as the two were high above the clouds, high enough to see the very stars of outer space, the Thulhu stared into the eyes of the fading Leviathan.

THE HUMANS WERE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO CALL YOU A GOD. YOU ARE NO GOD. BUT I... AM TRULY... A KING.

It then reeled back its arm before throwing the Leviathan towards the sea. The Leviathan began to combust during its fall. Then, the legendary Grimm smashed into the ocean with an explosion far greater than the one Oscar caused when he killed the first Monstra ever encountered.

The Thulhu, still flapping its wings to stay afloat, looked down towards where he threw the lizard and chuckled.

BOW BEFORE THE KING, WEAKLING.

Spears were pelting Jaune, his eyes widening in surprise when one pierced through his wing, the watery blade spinning in front of his helm before dissipating. The spear left a big enough hole for Jaune to see through it, despite the black blood seeping out of the wound. He was still able to see Soheks throwing more spears at him.

"Fuck this," Jaune said.

He opened his wings at just the right moment to catch one of the spears. Though it was spinning violently in his hand, the force tearing through his gauntlet and shredding his palm, Jaune turned with the momentum of the thrown spear before throwing it back at Soheks.

Though it returned at much greater speeds, Soheks could still dodge it, being a much more skilled swimmer than Jaune. However, her dodge prevented her from watching Jaune, not seeing him swim up to her.

When she looked at him, Jaune was right in front of her, balled up... and sparking. "This might sting a bit," Jaune said, smiling under his helm.

"Oh, shit," Soheks went.

Jaune then roared with power, letting out a wave of electricity. Soheks screamed as she was being shocked with enough voltage to illuminate her entire body, her skeleton visible, eyes glowing like flashlights, and lightning actually spewing out of her mouth. The fact that they were underwater made the electricity even more potent. Getting struck by lightning on land was horrible enough. Being electrocuted underwater must have been hell.

At the end of the burst, Soheks was sent shooting into the sea like a blast from a railgun, a trail of sparks following her before it spread into the ocean.

Jaune was panting. He never had to use magic to such a degree before. He thought it was strange. Winter, Emerald, and Raven were all able to use magic at an expert level the moment they received it. Why was he having so much trouble using his magic?

He then looked at his hand. "Is it because... this magic... is mine? Not given to me by another, but started with me?"

Jaune then noticed that it was getting darker. He looked up to see what looked like a flaming meteor falling toward him. "CRAP!"

Jaune held out his palms and blasted fire from them, propelling him out of the way of the falling object. Whatever it was crashed into the ocean with a tidal wave of force.

"I MIGHT BE OVER MY HEAD," Amanda yelled as she steered the ship on the tidal wave, the ship close to capsizing.

"I DON'T WANNA DIE," Laurance sobbed as he held his camera for dear life.

Right when the ship was about to be overtaken by the wave, Amanda slammed her fist onto a red button, the wave smashing the boat into the sea.

Moments passed.

Then, the ship, completely covered in plating, popped out of the water. It then retracted to show an exhausted Amanda hanging onto the helm's wheel. "Laurance... did you get that on tape," she asked as she looked at her cameraman, who was on his back, still clenching his camera, mouth open wide and eyes blank.

She dragged herself over to him and placed a finger on his neck. She then closed his eyes. "At least close them if you're going to lose consciousness. It's creepy to keep your eyes open."

She then heard thunder and looked up, her eyes widening. She didn't hesitate to pry the camera out of the knocked-out man's arm and aim the camera... at the descending Grand King Thulhu. It really was like watching a dark god descend from the blackened sky.

After Jaune recovered from the shockwave of the fallen object, he was shocked to see what it was. The God Leviathan, looking beaten, black blood oozing from various wounds, some of its dorsal scales broken, and a deep imprint on its neck.

Jaune swam over to the legendary Grimm and placed his hand on it, trying to communicate with it.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? YOU'RE THE GOD LEVIATHAN.

The Grimm gave a low, weakened growl as a response.

COME ON! GET UP! YOU KNOW AS WELL AS I DO THAT YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN STOP THAT THULHU! IF YOU LOSE, IT WILL TAKE OVER THE ENTIRE OCEAN! YOUR OCEAN! YOUR KINGDOM! AREN'T YOU THE STRONGEST OF THE FOUR?!

CAN... NOT... WIN.

DON'T SAY THAT, DAMMIT! YOU'RE THE GOD LEVIATHAN! THAT THING IS JUST A GRAND KING! YOU CAN'T FALL HERE TO A MERE KING, CAN YOU?!

It just gave a tired growl.

DAMMIT, YOU JUST NEED A BOOST! Jaune tried to use his Semblance. FUCK! MY AURA STILL HASN'T RECOVERED! OF COURSE, IT HASN'T, I'VE BEEN FIGHTING NONSTOP! WHY DID I EXPECT IT TO BE RECHARGED BY NO- Jaune's eyes widened in realization. RECHARGED?

Jaune then reached for his pocket, only to feel the clank of his armor. He looked down at his leg. 'NO! Dammit! Why can't I feel it?! I never took out the Aura Battery or whatever Maria called it. Why does it have to go missing now!? Where's that damn Aura Storage thing?!'

Jaune searched his body desperately before he noticed a bulge on his forearm. He watched the bulge crawl up to his palm before the armor split open to reveal the device. 'Did the armor... just give me what I was looking for?'

Jaune shook his head, knowing this wasn't the time to be wondering about that. He instead pressed the button, watching a light engulf his body. He could feel his wounds healing, showing that his Aura was back to being charged. He watched as the battery returned to his armor, the bulge crawling away to who knows where.

Jaune then looked at the Leviathan with resolve before placing both hands on the creature, using his Semblance to try and not only heal the beast, but boost its power. He then remembered what he did to Neverflame and tried to infuse the Leviathan with magic.

'This is going to take a ridiculously long time. The God Leviathan makes Neverflame look like a plushie in terms of size! I hope I have enough time to-'

Jaune was then grabbed by a massive hand, one arm still touching the Leviathan before he was carried away.

The Leviathan was now alone on the seafloor, unmoving... before it began to glow. Then, a light flame began to surround its body. The fire spread throughout the great beast, reaching even its face. Then, a single eye slowly opened, now glowing with the beauty of a raging flame.

Jaune was being crushed by both the hand and the pressure of being yanked out of the sea at high velocities. When he was freed from the hand, the helmet opened around his mouth to let him vomit out blood. He was then panting before he looked up, now face to face with the Grand King Thulhu.

YOU WERE MEANT TO BE MY KING, the monster telepathically asked before giving a dark chuckle. PITIFUL.

It then used a tentacle to smack Jaune away, the man growing his wings to fly and regain his balance. He shook his head, feeling his Aura shatter again before looking up at the gargantuan monster before him.

LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT A KING TRULY LOOKS LIKE, LITTLE FLEA, the Thulhu boomed as it spread its massive wings, blood-red lightning shooting all around it in the pitch-black sky above it.

"A man vs a god, huh?" Jaune then stood tall before having his sword appear out of his arm. He grabbed the beautiful replica before spinning it in an expert manner and taking his stance, standing defiantly before the mountainous Grimm.

"Bring it."
