Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, or any toher related charcters.
A/N: I really don't know why or how I got this idea for this story, so just enjoy. At this point most people say read and review, but I'm sick of begging for reviews. Just read this and then do what ever, I can't control you.
Obligations.
He had obligations. He had many obligations to all different people. Some obligations were stronger then the others.
His obligations to them were the strongest. That's why he had to do this.
The great hall was loud with mindless chatter. He felt alone, thinking that no one else had such obligations placed on their shoulders. As he walked closer to his destination, all the noise faded out of his mind. He could only hear his own footsteps against the stone floor. His heart speed up out of anxiety and fear. His palms began to feel sweaty, and his breathing became jagged. He sat down next to his obligations, and started eating.
He was waiting for the perfect moment to fulfill his obligations. It came halfway through the meal.
"Harry, honestly, how do you expect to become an Aurur if you don't do your potions homework?" Hermione nagged.
"I said I'd get to it," he growled back at her. His stomach felt as though it was ripping itself up, he hated being mean to his friends.
"You don't have to get snooty mate," Ron said.
"Oh why don't you just stuff your self," Harry snarled at Ron. He felt a massive amount of guilt in his stomach now.
"Hey," Ron objected, but Hermione cut him off.
"Harry what gotten into you?" she asked, angry but concerned.
"I'm sick of your know it all nagging. You are such an uptight bitch sometimes," Harry told her, feeling as though he was going to burst from all the pain.
"Don't talk to her like that," Ron demanded.
"Oh, a weasel and a cow, how ugly are your children going to be?" Harry sneered.
Hermione got up in a huff and gave Harry a dirty look before she left. Ron got up after her, but before he left he said, "Go stuff yourself, you prick."
"Have fun with your cow," Harry called after him loud enough that Hermione could also hear. He could see Hermione wipe away some tears, and Ron going up to comfort her. Harry looked around and saw that only a few people weren't staring at him. The teachers were trying very hard not to look at him, and a few students had turned their attention back to their food. Everyone at the Gryffindor table glared at Harry, making him shift uncomfortably. Ginny kicked him under the table, hard. His remorseful eyes meet with Ginny's hateful eyes, and Harry asked, "What is your problem? Did everyone find out how easy you are?"
Ginny kicked him in the shins as hard as she could muster and then also left. The rest of the table didn't say anything, but they didn't stop from staring at him. Harry looked back at them and yelled loudly, "WHAT??!!!"
There was a sudden murmur through out the entire great hall, and now no one dared to look at him. Harry could tell they all thought he was crazy, but he didn't care. He had fulfilled his obligations, no matter how much it tore him up on the inside.
Harry got up and left the great hall, leaving all the mindless chatter behind.
Now his load of obligations was lighter. His friends hate him now, which meant they were safe. If he loved no one, then no one could get hurt.
Yes, his obligations to them were fulfilled.
Now his obligation was to save the world.
