Sephira story/songfic

I grew up in a small town and when the rain would fall down I'd just stare out my window

-Sephira wraps her arms around her knees and stares out the small window of her prison like room watching the rain fall freely-

Dreaming of what could be and if I'd end up happy I would pray

-With a slight inward sigh she closes her icy cool green eyes and daydreams of a better venue far from this place-

Trying hard to reach out but when I tried to speak out felt like no one could hear me

-She tired of all the scientists and knew if she ever tried to speak her words would be meaningless; she needed to get out-

Wanted to belong here but something felt so wrong here so I'd pray I could break away

-Finally after fifteen years of being studied like a lab rat and tortured emotionally and physically by her "late" father she breaks free of the lab and runs away-

I spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly

I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky

Take a chance take a risk make a change and break away

-She makes her way through the dense forest behind the lab and shakes off the scientists-

Out of the darkness and into the sun

I won't forget all the ones that I love

-Letting out a relieved sigh she takes one last look back at her little town that she never had the chance to explore before walking off-

Want to feel the warm breeze sleep under a palm tree feel the rush of the ocean

Get on board a fast train, climb upon a jet plane

-Making her way around the continent she trains and later hears about Solider and decides to take a trip to Midgar-

Far away and break away

I spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly

I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky

-She progresses wonderfully and gets the highest rank in her class but wont progress unless she can surpass Sephiroth-

-Back in Nibelheim Hojo has heard of his deceased brother and demands Sephira's capture-

Buildings with a hundred floors swinging around revolving doors

Maybe I don't know where they'll take me

-Right when she is about to go on her search to find Sephiroth a group of Hojo's minions capture her and take her to Nibelheim-

But I've got to keep moving on moving on

Fly away….break away….

-He traps her in a cylinder full of mako and leaves her there for four and a half years before she awakens from her slumber and breaks free-

I spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly

Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye

-Sensing the new depths of power within her she easily handles the scientists watching over her and leaves with no struggle-

I've got to take a risk take a chance make a change and break away

Out of the darkness and into the sun and I wont forget of the place I come from

-Remembering her goal she continues her search for Sephiroth to become the top ranking Soldier-
