One day in teletubby-land, la-la sat down at the table and began to eat her breakfast, she picked up the newspaper and jumped as a magazine slid out from its pages and landed with a small plop on the table next to her bowl of tubby custard.

She sighed and picked it up; she was on the verge of throwing it across the room when she paused noticing something on the front page;

"DIPSY AND PO SPOTTED HAVING ROMANTIC MEAL IN FRENCH RESTERAUNT"

La-la's mouth fell open in horror at the picture that accompanied the story, there they were, her best friend and the tubby of her dreams giggling and holding hands like traitorous fiends. She couldn't believe her eyes.

Dropping the newspaper in shock and bewilderment, she clasped her hand over her mouth and then resolved to sob into her bowl of custard.

She failed to notice the door at the other end of the room opening and Tinky-Winky walking in. He lit up his cigarette and plopped himself down on the sofa, picking up the remote and forcing the fuzzy picture to inhabit the TV screen. He frowned as he heard La-la let out a huge, gut wrenching, over-exaggerated sob from behind him and he turned round, fixing her with an irritated expression.

"Look…if you insist upon conducting your sobbing in such a revolting manner, go outside and continue there" he groaned.

La-la suddenly wailed and told Tinky-Winky all about what she had just read.

"He's cheating on me" she sobbed, rushing across the room and drowning her enormous blue friend in tears.

"Oh holy Christ" he raged; "get off me" he pushed La-la away from his person and stood up; "Instead of wailing about it why don't you go and confront him about it" he cried in exasperation.

La-la wiped his tear sodden eyes and gulped;

"He'd just lie to me about it anyway" she whimpered

"Oh get over it!" he cried; "Po's a lot prettier than you, what did you expect…yellow and green do not go well together La-la! Of course Dipsy was gonna be more interested in Po!"

La-la let out a huge choking sob and hurried from the room wailing.
