Death and darkness covers the land,

The sun is blotted out by a bloodlust hand,

Slain are the people,

Scortched is the sand,

The silence holds the voice of the damned.

Fire and flame consume the last,

The wind blows not and a spell is cast.

Magic of shadow,

Horrors of pasts,

All's watched from a hilltop, young face agast.

Friends and famly scattered in blood,

Pools of gore in a lifeless flood,

Face down bodies,

In puddles of mud,

the fate of the souls for him to judge!

Once a house now a pillar of smoke,

Tears in eyes and a thoat in choke,

Suddenly empty,

Pain invoke,

A child's heart now cracked and broke.

A jug of water from well had gathered,

Slips from hand and a wettness splatters,

Hits the sand,

And clay now shatters,

The thirst of corpses no longer matter.

A flash of light and a gleam of gold,

Seven items forged of blood and bone,

Magic weaved,

And the price attoned,

Awe and horror for boy's eye behold.

A wave of grief and a flood of rage,

This the doing of the pharaoh's mage!

Falling to knees,

And heart enraged,

A scream set forth and a war now waged.

Vengence sworn of a innocent mind,

Home now gone and a soul to bind,

He will search,

And he will find,

he pharaoh's death and his mind entwined.

Horses gone in a thundering roar,

Taking murderous fiends to horizon's shore,

Gried now reigns where a spirit had soared,

A young boy crying for blood and more.

Tears of pain and a vengence planned,

All alone kneeling in the sand,

A spirit now dark,

And sane gone mad,

A life sworn to take by a child's hand!
