He finished dressing the wound, and brought back the rage and bowl to the bartender. When he came back he had two hot chocolates. They drank in silence.

The boy finished first and looked at her, "I have to go shopping," This made the girl laugh, and Harry seemed to like it when she laughed. "It's for school supplies. Do you want to come?"

She thought for a moment before agreeing to go.

They walked in silence. He nervously walked with his hands is his pockets and looked at the ground, and she had the cloak pulled over her face for protection from the sun.

"So where are you from?" Harry asked breaking the silence.

The girl looked at the ground. "Well, I came from Wales, but before that I don't remember."

"Wales is nice, I bet you..." He stopped, he was staring a head. At two men.

When the two reached them, she realized that the younger one was staring at her weird, but she pushed this out of her mind.

"Well, well, look who walked into our lives uninvited, Draco." The older one said in a cold creepy voice.

"What do you want?" Harry said fuming.

"Well you see, Potter, before school starts we like to come here, you know, to buy things."

The girl was shaking. She recognized these voices. Without a word she ran. Ran away from the pain, from crying, and mostly from them. Harry went after her.

When he reached her she was crying and shaking. "Are you alright?" He asked. He sat her down on the steps of Olivander's. He wrapped his arms around her, as a way of comfort, and whispered. "It's alright. Shhhh." He could feel her pulling away, but he held her tightly to his body.

It took her awhile to look him in the eyes, but when she did all she saw was caring. "I know them. They were there."

"They were where?"

She put her head down and breathed. He rubbed her back in comfort. "He was there when they left."

"When who left?"

She lifted her head and for a moment her face was twisted into a look of confusion, but then as fast as it came it was gone. "My parents."

She knew he was confused, and tried to explain. "It was quiet that day, and then they came and it was…confusing, just very confusing. The things they said and their eyes…that's all I could see." She couldn't explain it more than that.

"Ice-cream!" Harry said standing up.

"What!?"

Harry grinned at her. "I'll get you some ice-cream…it always helps."

She smiled back. "Ok, that sounds good." she stood up and brushed off the back of her cloak.

"No. I'll get it, you stay here." He scolded.

She looked around and wondered, if she was safe here alone, and in the light.
