Dear Professor Dumbledore,
Last summer I had a job as a babysitter for some kids at my church and in my neighborhood. I wanted to know if you would mind if I came to Hogwarts and had a program, starting a few days from now, this summer where I would watch magical children for their parents. We could sort them into houses, let them use the dormitories and common rooms, and I already have activities that I have used with my muggle children. Please reply to let me know if you would be willing to allow me to use Hogwarts, and your assistance, to run a daycare for these children.

Hermione tied the letter to her new owl, Mystic's leg, and set her off to find Dumbledore. Wouldn't it be funny to see Dumbledore, with McGonagall, on a beach in Italy wearing a speedo? Hermione thought. She laughed at the thought and vowed to send a camera, with its instructions, with Mystic next time.
Within a shocking 3 minutes, Mystic flew back through the window with a letter. He must be pretty close… keeping an eye on Harry, I suppose. She mused as she broke the seal to read his reply.

If we are to be working together this summer, there will be no need for formalities. You may address us as Albus and Minerva. We would be delighted for you to come and watch the little tykes. I have already sent out letters to the parents inviting their children to come for the summer. You ware welcome to stay until the start of term. Enclosed is a boarding ticket for the Hogwarts Express which will be leaving tomorrow morning at exactly 11:00, as you know. The little kids will be riding with you, so try to keep some supervision over them, please. We look forward to seeing you!

"YES!" Hermione screamed. She would get to stay all summer!!! Hermione's parents hadn't exactly been attentive to her this summer, so she wasn't too heartbroken about leaving them. She would just have to leave a note for them since they were out vacationing, for the third time since she'd been home, with their friends from work.
Deciding to get a head start on her packing, Hermione slowly made her way upstairs. She was going to savor this moment. It would be the last time that she would pack to leave for Hogwarts forever.
