This is the continuation of Clarks journey through college, may I remind readers that most of the events are not related to the Superman comics and therefore any criticism I receive for the relativity to the comics I will not accept.
It was Clarks second week on his brand new course, he was settling in just fine, things were going not amazingly well but not bad either. He had made friends with almost the entire class and his work was easier and he was really enjoying himself. However there was one thing that he could not figure out, why was Tabbin ignoring him? She had changed a lot since Clark had first met with her the week previous. He couldn't understand it at all, what had he done wrong?
In actually fact "he" hadn't done anything wrong, it was his alter ego of Superman that had affected the way Tabbin was acting, Tabbin had now come to terms in her mind that maybe the new guy in the class really was Superman, although Clark didn't know of Tabbin's alter ego, he was friends with both of them. Atom babe and Tabbin were one and Clark didn't even know.
A few nights back Superman and Atom babe met by a freak chance of fate, they had both become aware of the same bank robbery, Superman aware of it because of his immense super hearing, Atom babe knew of the robbery because her sister was ringing her screaming for help (Tabbin's sister worked at the bank and also knew of her secret identity). Superman arrived at the bank first using his super speed; he was about to apprehend the robber when he began to feel weak, he fell to the floor, he was in serious pain, with his last ounce of strength he used his x ray vision, the robber had kryptonite, the robber took out his pistol and he shot a bank clerk in the head, NOOOOOOOOO!!! Superman shouted, he found a last surge of strength and got up and he punched the robber as hard as he could, the robber went flying across the street, he dropped his gun and Superman caught it, just at that moment Atom babe came into the building, she saw the rage on Superman's face, then she saw the pistol in his hand, then she saw the dead body of her sister lying in a pool of blood.
"I… I have to go," said Superman, that robber needs to be sorted out, Atom babe you can take over here, and within a second he was gone, Atom babe couldn't believe what she had just seen, had Superman just killed her sister? She picked her sisters body up and ran to the hospital as fast as her body could carry her; she was so confused, why had this happened? One thing she did know is she no longer loved Superman.
At college Tabbin didn't speak to Clark at all she couldn't believe what his alter ego had done. Meanwhile Clark had asked for some help into figuring out what he had done wrong, the help came in the form of Ashby and Jessi, a.k.a Shadow girl and Pink crusader. Together they came to realise that Tabbin was Atom babe and Clark realised the damage he had caused after also finding out the victim was her sister.
Clark left it until the end of the day when he had chance to speak to Tabbin alone, he explained in full what had happened that night, and how he and the other girls had figured out who she was and how sorry he was, there and then they stopped and hugged, they pulled away from each other and looked longingly into each others eyes, their lips drew closer and closer, until they were touching, they were kissing, Clark had dreamed about this for a whole week, Tabbin had dreamed about it for years. Clark began to serenade Tabbin, "you are the sun, you make me shine, or more like the stars that twinkle at night, you are the moon that glows in my heart, you're my daytime, my night time, my world, you are my life, and with that they hugged and said goodbye to each other.
