A/N: Rambling. As usual. I was sick, I needed something to do.
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters. Only the plot.
I Had Prince Charming.
I had Prince Charming. And he isn't who you think he is.
I stared at the boy I'd known for only six years, although it felt like forever. The memories came back to me, flooding my brain. He was a fire inside of me, burning me on the inside. I couldn't believe this was happening.
"I'm sorry." He told me, looking into my deep brown eyes. He'd loved these eyes once. Loved everything about me. And in a way, he still did.
"Show me. Convince me you're sorry." I whispered back. I didn't look at him. I could not bare to see his eyes. The eyes that made the fire flare.
"I'll take you to the moon someday." he replied. It was something he'd said to me long ago. When we first fell for each other. He had promised to never let me go, never hurt me. But the promises were broken, shattered on the floor.
"Someday."
He grabbed my forearm. I flinched as his grasp became tighter. My skin blistered under his touch. Do not do this to me, I thought. He pulled me closer. I finally looked into his grey eyes. I was close enough to see the green and black specks like diamonds shining amongst gold. He kissed me, forcing his lips to mine. It was a violent kiss, one with passion and hatred and love. His body pressed against my own, skin against burning skin. I moaned in pain aginst his mouth. The fire flared again.
"Leave me." I said, wrenching myself away from him. My skin burned in the places he'd touched me.
"I shan't." he replied, steping closer again. I stepped back and the fire inside shown through my eyes. The anger rose quickly.
"I had Prince Charming. He was perfect. Too perfect," I said to him, anger flowing through my words. His eyes became wide. "Yes, I had Prince Charming. A knight in shining armor. My hero."
"And I had the Princess. A beautiful angel who was broken and lost inside." he replied.
"And burning. Burning to death, slowly. No way to extinguish the flames that are tearing her apart."
He stepped closer still.
"Do not touch me, my Prince. Yes, Prince Charming. That's who you are." I said to him, "A fiery storm inside of me."
"I don't mean to hurt you." his words were soft. Words he'd said many times before.
"Don't lie to me. Not again. Don't you dare lie to me again. With those stupid promises you made!" I was trembling with anger. He moved to touch me and I slapped him, skin blistering again.
"No, my dearest Prince. You don't have me anymore." I said as he looked at me in amazement, "Leave me."
"I shan't." And he walked away. Forever.
I had Prince Charming. And isn't who you think he is.
A/N: If you haven't figured it out yet, not that I expect you to, it's in Ginny's POV and Draco is Prince Charming. Again, it's rambling as usual. Review and tell me how wonderful I am. Yeah, kidding. I know, I'm getting concieted about this, huh? Ah well, review anyway! Love you guys!
Also, I still need a beta! If you're quick and you handle putting up with my demanding nature and my other annoying qualities, let me know!
