When Yami Met Elizabeth
Chapter one:
It was a hot, very boring Egyptian day at the palace. The prisoners all sleeping the day away, dogs yawing in the halls, and the horses meagerly swatting flies with their tails in the stables. When all of a sudden "BAM!" CRASH" excitement roared in the town square and Atem ran towards the balcony to see what was going on.
There was a young girl about 16 just about Atem's age with beautiful reddish brown hair with purple streaks and dazzling brown eyes that her father said reminded him of sweet smelling spices. Was dancing the most beautiful dance that Yami had ever seen right in the middle of the town. While she was dancing her dog, a miniature schnauzer named Henry, leapt about setting off firecrackers as his master danced in an entrancing movement.
Atem ordered his guards to go down there and catch the enchantress before she escaped into the town. As soon as they got down there, she was already in her way to the palace. As she walked up towards the palace Atem's heart began to race and his hands began to sweat and words were short of coming to him. As he was thinking to himself he turned around and there she was standing with an expression like "Alright what do you want from me already?"
Atem suddenly snapped out his daze and said, "Why do you not bow before me as for I am the Great Pharaoh Atem ruler of all that you see."
She just simply responded "I bow for no one except my God the savior of you puny men."
Atem heart was fluttering around like butterflies as he tried to come up with a good come back. His mind was blank and he said, "I greatly admire your loyalty for your God, I should expect that you would share the same devotion to everything in your life."
As he was saying this Elizabeth's dog hoped out of her bag and was sniffing around as a guard picked him up and said, "My Pharaoh, what should we do with this rag of fur?"
Pharaoh Atem watched the dog squirm and Elizabeth with tears welling up in her eyes begging the guard not to hurt her pride and joy.
"Leave him" Atem said.
Elizabeth ran over to control her dog before he went metal on the guard.
