InuYasha inched his way across the castle floor. Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kagome walked quietly behind. The travelers had found their way into Naraku's castle, without any interference from Kaugra or Kanna.
"Naraku's scent is getting stronger.." InuYasha stated.
"Yes." Miroku said, almost grim.
Finally, they reached it. A huge room, with a all-to-familiar Naraku standing in the center. It looked as though it was built specifically for this battle. InuYasha drew Tetsaga. He charged towards Naraku, and sliced his arm off. It dropped to the ground with a satisfying thud. InuYasha smiled. The battle had begun.
A few days before, Kouga had 'generously' donated his shards to the group. So, now, a full Shikon Jewel hung around Kagome's neck.
"So what should we wish for?" She asked.
"I don't know." Everyone else said quietly. Sango and Miroku did have an idea, but were embarrassed to say.
"We should head back. To Kaede's, I mean." Sango said awkwardly. The others agreed. Kagome looked down at the ground. She felt lightheaded, and weak. She passed it off as nothing and continued to walk.
