I said I would never love you. You made me promise, the first time we were together. I agreed, of course. I didn't want to love you, or even like you. I only wanted to be with you.
And as for you... I don't even think you know how to love. Cold, that's the only word to describe you. For you - for both of us, but especially for you - 'we' existed only in a physical sense. The rest of the day you still hated me, and I still disliked and pitied you. We still would have given anything to defeat each other - but for a few hours, maybe, there was 'us'.
