Keri was walking down the hall to her locker when Mrs. Bird stopped her in the hallway.
"Did you JOT down your homework?" she questioned. Mrs. Bird was crazy. Her hair was always a mess and her clothes almost never matched. All of her students were failing her algebra class and no one knows why she became a math teacher. Mrs. Bird never said write she always said jot. She always got onto Kenzie and Keri for every little thing. They would never like her.
"Yes ma'am I did." Keri said not even looking at the old hag.
Keri kept walking until she got to her locker which was only a few steps away from where Mrs. Bird was standing because unfortunately she had her for homeroom. She turned the lock slowly, putting the little line perfectly on the numbers that unlocked her locker. She pulled up on the knob and opened her locker. It was a mess. Papers and pens scattered were scattered everywhere. She pulled out and a binder and as she did a paper fell out of her locker. She bent down to pick it up and as soon as she did a blue ray shot out of her locker, melting the door and lockers behind her. When the ray stopped she slammed her locker shut and ran to her class.

Later at lunch Keri told her friends about what had happened.
"I'm telling you guys a blue ray came out of my locker and it melted the door and lockers across from my locker! I can show you! It kinda looked like the ray from Cyborg's gun." she said wanting her friends to believe her.
She looked around hopelessly at her friends seated around her. Beccah and Nikki looked at each other and exchanged looks. Demi, Kelley, Kenzie, and Sam on the other hand looked at Keri and laughed. Keri thought her friends would believe her obviously not. She decided she would show them the door and lockers.
When they were walking back to class from lunch Keri asked if her and her friends could go to the bathroom. She dragged her friends out of line and each of them asked her what her problem was and she shushed them quiet every time. Keri peeked out the bathroom door and when the class walked back into the room, she dragged them down the hallway. She stopped in front of her locker, turned to the door and said, "See there, now who's crazy? I know what I saw! See now ya'll are crazy too cause I know ya'll can see it!" Keri yelled not caring about the classes that were in session. She looked at her friends, their faces all astonished and none of them moved. Keri fell on the floor laughing.

At the end of the day Keri and her friends grouped around her locker. She slowly put in the combination and opened her locker. Everyone ducked.
"We should open your locker and shove Mrs. Bird in front of it." Kenzie said.
"Yeah!!!!" Sam screamed.
Keri stood and looked into her locker. She reached in and when she did there wasn't a wall only open space.
"There's no wall here. Its like open. Like Mrs. Bird's room doesn't exist." Keri said.
Kenzie walked over to Mrs. Bird's door and saw her sitting at her desk writing very fast. "Darn! I was praying that it wasn't"
Keri got Beccah and Demi to help her climb into the locker. Amazingly she fit and soon you couldn't see her anymore.
"Whoa you guys! Come on in!" she called her voice echoing.
One by one her friends climbed through the locker. When everyone was out the closed the locker door and they started to walk down the dark hallway.
