Chapter 12...I think?
"They can't have just disappeared!"
Meg was looking all over the deck for 'The Pearls' crew. There was no trace of them anywhere. Serenity had swung over to 'The Rose' to search there and Pippa had headed below deck to see if any of the missing crew were down there.
"For the love of Johnny Depp, where the hell is everyone?" She muttered to herself while checking they weren't hiding under the rum barrels.
Pippa ran back up on deck.
"Any luck?" Meg asked.
"Nope! Everyone's left us!" Pippa replied, "There's no signs of a struggle or anything!"
"They wouldn't just leave, Pips!"
"Well then, where are they?"
"The Interceptor II...the brig most likely." Serenity came up behind the girls, in her hand was a chain with a deep purple gemstone pendant.
"How do you know?" Pippa asked, "Did you put them there?"
"How could I have put them there? I was with you the whole time!" Serenity said.
"Yeah well you could have used some...voodoo type thingy! Like that pendant!" Pippa said, pointing to the pendant Serenity was holding.
"This isn't mine, I found it on 'The Rose'...it was all I found on 'The Rose'."
"Yu-huh...excuse me if I don't believe you!"
"Pippa, I don't think that Serenity would have put her own family under Norry's surveillance!"
"Ah, maybe they're not her family? Maybe she's just pretending they are?"
Meg rolled her eyes: "Pippa..."
"Or maybe you did it?" Pippa turned to Meg, "Ever since you arrived things have gone wrong! Jack fell in love, we got attacked, we lost our crew..."
Pippa held a finger up in realization: "You're in on it together!"
She turned away and began mumbling to herself.
"I think she's gone stir crazy!" Meg said.
"Maybe she's just frightened?" Serenity offered.
"I don't think so."
"Then why is she so hysterical?" Serenity asked.
Meg looked over at Pippa who was currently discussing escape tactic's with a coil of rope.
"Because she's Pippa, and there's no known cure."
"I have an idea." Serenity said, "She might not like it though."
"Anything's worth a try." Meg said, "Go ahead."
Serenity nodded and headed over to Pippa: "Pippa?"
Pippa apologized to the coil of rope and turned to Serenity: "Yes?"
Serenity punched Pippa across the face.
Pippa grabbed her nose in pain: "OW! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR?"
"You were hysterical."
"That's no reason to punch me in the face! You've ruined my good looks!" Pippa shouted.
"Sorry but..."
"No buts!" Pippa said, "Ow."
"You were crazy..."
"Guys, please!" Meg said, jumping in, "We need to figure out what's going on and what that...thing...that Serenity found is."
"Okay...how do we do that?" Pippa asked.
"I was hoping one of you two could help me out with that!" Meg said, "Plans aren't my strong point!"
"Well, uh, we could stay here stranded." Pippa suggested, "Or we could sail to a nearby island."
"Sail? Us? We'd end up killing ourselves!" Meg said.
"And we won't do that if we're here?"
There was a moment of tense silence between the girls.
"We have a vote." Pippa said, "All who say we try and find some help, say 'Aye'."
"Aye." Serenity said.
The girls looked at Meg.
"It's up to you." Pippa said, "You choose."
Meg sighed. If she said no, they would be stuck there and almost certainly die. If she said yes, they could end up getting themselves lost or killed. She never was one to be optomistic.
She looked at Serenity, who had a hopeful look on her face and then back at Pippa.
She sighed: "Aye...let's do it."
Pippa and Serenity jumped on Meg and hugged her. After the touching girly hug moment they were all struck with the sudden realization.
"Can you two sail?" They all asked at the same time.
"Fuck!" Pippa said, "We're totally screwed now! We're going to die!"
"Don't make me hit you again!" Serenity said, turning to Pippa.
"Well it's true! How are we supposed to get away from here if we can't sail?" Pippa asked.
The girls stood in silence for a while.
"I suppose we could just...guess?" Meg suggested.
"Guess? You mean we try things and see if they work?" Serenity asked.
"Well does anyone else have a better idea?" Meg asked.
There was a moment of silence between the three.
"So, guessing it is then." Pippa said.
The girls scattered across the deck, heading towards things that could possibly help the boat...ship move. After about 2 hours of pulling ropes and turning the ships wheel, the Pearl finally managed to move.
"We did it!" Meg punched the air.
"Good work everyone." Serenity said.
"Just one question." Pippa asked.
Serenity and Meg turned to her.
"Does anyone know where we're going?" She asked.
There was a pause before Meg offered: "Forwards?"
"Great." Pippa said, "We manage to get the ship to move, we just don't know where it's taking us!"
"It's not that bad, Pip!" Meg insisted.
"Not that bad? We're going to end up stranded somewhere!" Pippa said. She was panicking again.
"Pippa, we'll be fine. Eventually we'll come across and island and we'll ask the inhabitants to help us get to Port Royal." Serenity reassured her.
"What if they won't help?" Pippa asked, "What if they hold us captive? Oh God, what if they're German?!" (a/n: I'm allowed to make this joke, I'm German!)
"Pippa stop being so paranoid!"
"I'm not being paranoid!" Pippa insisted.
"Yes, you are!" Serenity said, "Pippa, we'll be fine. Not everyone in the Caribbean is bad."
"No some are worse." Pippa said.
"Oh God, she's gone from paranoia to pessimism!" Meg said to nobody in particular.
"No I haven't! Think about it you two! If, by some magical occurence, we manage to get to Port Royal, then what? We're three girls against a troop of highly trained Naval officers trying to save people, who let's face it, deserve the punishment they're about to recieve!" Pippa said, "And what if we do save them? Then what, eh? We can't stay in Port Royal. We can't stay anywhere. We're going to be on the run forever. We can never settle down because if we stay still for too long, Norrington's going to be on us faster than you can say 'Savvy!' So think about it, is it really worth trying to save them?
Meg and Serenity stood staring at her.
"Think about that." Pippa said, "I'm going to bed."
She headed below deck leaving Serenity and Meg staring open mouthed after her. Things weren't looking good.

Jeeze, that took me forever to write! Oh well, I've done it now! I know it wasn't very long but I updated didn't I? It's not the best chapter in the world but oh well!
Let me know what you think! I'm sorry they take so long to get put up but I have trouble finding inspiration at the moment so I write when I can think! I WILL finish this story though! I swear!
Also, just out of curiousity, am I the only person who thinks Vince Vaughn is quite yummy? Random I know but I just want to be reassured I'm not the only one!
