Without Jerry there is a gaping hole in the comedy festival. The festival coordinators ask Jerry for a recommended replacement. Jerry can't think of anyone worthy, but Kramer suggests himself. After much convincing Jerry agrees. Jerry calls the comedy festival back and they have never heard of a Kramer. Later, Kramer flies out to Los Angeles and performs the next day. Kramer stumbles upon the stage in his usual way. He uses a monologue prepared by Jerry, though makes it his own with his facial expressions. Kramer is a hit at the festival.
